Anyone can serve for camping but since you won't be having just one copy of the white background, why not make multiple of it?

Besides, you will still need to upload the white background passport during your final POP after 1 year of service to be used for your NYSC certificate.

May be after scanning today, you could ask for it to be sent to your email for preservation instead of paying for scanning again next time
