Signal levels must be poor. Try moving the router to another location or at a higher level. Occasionally, the light turns blue-4G but switches back to white within seconds.

I suggest you install ZTE Link from Playstore and use it to track 5G signals as you move around with the router.

I ordered mine in Lagos. It's quite unfortunate that MTN will ship a router without a battery and a powerbank.

As for the app, it's what I'm using in my MTN 5g signal ultimate search. The signal indicator has never shown white, always blue.

I already have the 4g Hynetflex router, I see no point in using this one if I'm not gonna get a stable 5g and an uninterrupted connection. I'll find time to return it to them.

Another issue I have with the device is I only get 4g even though my location is listed on their website as a 5g location, I called customer care but they seemed even more confused. One was asking me if the phone I connected to the router has an MTN SIM, how the SIM wey dey my phone take affect router network reception?

It is called MDM(mobile device management) probably the phone was issued to the previous user by a company or organization. So the mdm profile was installed by them. Only the company can remove the mdm by unlisting the imei from their database. Aside that u can only bypass it but once u reset the phone u will be locked out until u out the company/organization username and password that was giving to the owner.

Note that not all MDM request for company username and password during setup. Some will just setup normally.
