I really don't think adopting 60 kids was one of his campaign promises. He probably adopted them because he feels he is in a position to give them better opportunity in life. No sane person will reelect him just because he adopted 60 kids. Adopting kids is never a yardstick for him to forget his senatorial responsibilities.

Even if what he did has political implications, it has come of as an advantage to the poor, the fatherless, the motherless...the masses.

He didn't adopt the kids because he wants to give you a cup of water or an entire ocean. If you feel he owes you an ocean, go demand for it and leave the orphans alone.

7 months in office and he is still talking of plans, he's got two more years to work before campaign. A leader should have well detailed plans (blueprint) before vying for office....he only needs to edit his plans as circumstances change. Unfortunately, our leaders in this part of the world only vie for offices cos of power, money and fame.
One would expect that Buhari, an "old timer", would have a blueprint after all this years of contesting, but it seems he's got none...he is just planning for one.
