No, this blog isn't managed by scammers, its a genuine blog. I just want to make brief contribution. Canada embassy in Nigeria have not been granting visas to genuine and qualified applicants recently, especially people using hotel booking to apply for Tourism visit. Though an invitation letter is not a guarantee of getting Canada TRV and likewise having a UK or US visa doesn't assure anyone of getting it. With reference to recent GCMS notes contents from friends and colleagues denied the TRV, Canada embassy doesn't consider hotel booking and tourism visit as a " COMPELLING REASON" to visit Canada due to Nigeria's current economic recession ( Stated on all GCMS notes recovered ) hence they ticked "PURPOSE OF VISIT". Most guys do make mistake by thinking that "Purpose of Visit" denial reason means lack of explanation of travelling purpose by the applicant, not that's not correct. I think applicants from Nigeria needs a more compelling reason to visit Canada apart from Tourism. Almost 98% of guys I knew applied for Canada TRV using Hotel booking got denied and they've visited US and UK without violating visa terms. Dear frank2075, you know that only you know where this shoe pinches you so only you can decide. I look at timelines here for TRVs and smile at people worried after just about two months in . It used to be way longer. CIC's processing time guideline is only what it is, a guideline. It can take way longer depending on a lot of factors. My older sisters last TRV couple years back took 5 months and she pulled her passport so she could attend my other sisters first graduation in Accra. She applied the following year via online and it was approved in just 3 weeks
May is not a good time to apply for any visa. Everyone is traveling so patience is very key here. If you have no pressing need, please leave them to finish their business. It is wise. Best of luck [/quote]
