There won't be any proper voting process in the core northern states if boko haram is not nipped to the bud before 2015.

PoliticsRe: Breaking: Boko Haram Renames Captured Adamawa Town, Mubi, “madinatul Islam” by Frankenstein:
Why stress on the part where they allowed civilians to carry out their business without fear? Seems like a campaign for the sect to rebuild their image. It should be deleted! The media should stop making Boko Haram look invincible.

They are playing on your intelligence... craftily seeking out for positive appraisal from gullible Muslims. Don't be surprised if they start up false acts of benevolence.
BokoHaram: Boko Haram has commenced the implementation of Sharia law in Mubi, the Adamawa State town it captured last week, a source from the area said.

The source, one of those who escaped from the town, revealed that the sect have stoned to death some persons whom they claimed had committed ‘capital’ offences. Others allegedly found stealing had their hands amputated, he added.
Another source disclosed that the militants have forced trapped inhabitants of the town to open their business premises.

According to him, Boko Haram operatives have also been going around the town burning churches and killing locals who resisted conversion, which they consider to be a grave offence.

Muslims are also being killed. If you fight back, boko haram will be happy to assist you in killing Muslims, a free for all will pay them more than you.
So if the scenario was the other way round with a fanatical Christian extremist group in the south butchering Moslems and some christians too, the north will be calm about it?

PoliticsBoko Haram Attacks Christians In Sabon Gari by Frankenstein(op): 7:02pm On Nov 02, 2014
Several people were reportedly killed today, Sunday, 2
November, 2014 when Boko Haram insurgents attacked
a predominantly Christian community of Sabon Gari on
the border of Borno and Adamawa state.
According to Sahara Reporters, residents fleeing the
affected communities informed that the insurgents
arrived their villages Sunday morning and slaughtered
several people as they were heading to church.
Though details of the tragic incident are still being
expected, it was reported three days ago that Nigerian
troops in the area had fled after Mubi, the second biggest
in Adamawa state, fell to the militants.

The Islamist group Boko Haram is believed to have killed
over 10 ,000 people from terror attacks across Nigeria
especially northern Nigeria.

Boko Haram insurgents on the move in northern Nigeria.
A truce is believed to have been struck with the militants
after the Nigerian government announced last month that
it has engaged the terrorists in a cease fire deal.
Only for the purported leader of the sect, Abubakar
Shekau, to release a video Friday night claiming that the
terror group had not entered into an agreement with the
Federal Government led by President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to Shekau, who was reported weeks ago to
have been killed by the Nigeria soldiers, ‘Allah has
commanded them’ not to enter into an agreement with
the Nigerian government.

In the video obtained by AFP, the ruler of the self-
proclaimed Caliphate revealed that the Nigerian
government lied and no future talks are possible.
Meanwhile, the Adamawa government on Saturday
imposed a curfew in the whole state.
The curfew is said to be an extension of the previously
announced curfew in some areas of the state affected by
recent raids by Boko Haram insurgents.
The curfew time is expected to be from 9pm to 5am
daily. Only those on essential services and with permit
will be allowed to carry out their duties during this
period.

Also, in a bid to restore normalcy in the towns stormed
days ago by Boko Haram insurgents, the Nigerian
military had said it has intensified deployment of troops
and equipment around the area.
The military is said to have launched aerial
bombardment in the affected areas.

Good riddance to the vile subhumans! But they should have been handed over to the military or police for proper execution.
Show no mercy to boko haram members but don't go against standards.

We are giving the US and its allies reasons to keep blocking our efforts to buy arms if we act without caution.

PoliticsRe: Why Do Electricity Consumers In Nigeria Pay For Maintenance Cost? by Frankenstein: 9:09pm On Oct 28, 2014
OP, you're a very funny man.

Why do you think people pay cash to the police to get themselves bailed after they've been proven innocent of any crime?

Why do you think students in some tertiary institutions pay dues every academic session for accreditation of courses?
Why do you think job seekers pay the employers in public offices huge amounts of naira to get employed?

The answers to the above questions will give you an inkling as to why you get to pay for transformer maintenance. One thing though is obviously common among most of these payments... You'll never get receipts!

Next time a power distribution company staff knocks on your door to collect fees for fixing your transformer, make sure not to call him corrupt. Because he's merely stealing.

Seun, front-page please. Nigerians need answers.
