Freedom of Choice or grace.

Over the years I have heard this statement by some people "God gives an evil person enough time and grace to repent from their evil ways, and that is why they live longer than good people".

I laugh

God did not give an evil person the grace to repent, it is freedom of choice that was given.

While grace is an underserved favor and unlimited assistance from God; freedom of choice is someone's autonomy to perform any action at all, usually chosen from two available options which is GOOD and BAD, unconstrained by external parties.

So, man has the freedom to live the kind of life he/she chose to.

The death of Christ on the cross brought many things with it; salvation, grace, freedom of choice, transformation etc...

Grace only made it possible that God will not strike an evil person dead when they commit evil, like in the days B.C, because of the death of Christ.

But we are reminded in Hebrews 9:27 that we All, both good and bad people, have an appointment with death and afterwards comes judgment.

Even if grace was given for an evil person to live longer and repent, that is not an excuse to continue living in sin and committing evil, because -
AT THE END OF THE RACE, THE MILES MUST BE COUNTED.
