ozone00001:Have you drafted a response for not declaring the previous refusal you had from US?. You should implement the advices I have enumerated in my last post. With regards to the evidence to establish strong proof of relationship with your uncle (sponsor), its important that you include old photos, proof of tuition payment and/or transfer of your living expenses into your account. It will end in praise |

SonofEguasa:Check the last two pages of the GCMS notes if the visa officer has made any comment as per the "Recommend Interview". If there is no concern stated on the file, you might want to send a CSE to address the current immigration assessment of the Program Case Analyst. It will end in praise |

Jeff5gold:Over the course of my five (5) years experience in handling complex immigration cases, I have seen on several occurrences, applications being refused by the visa officer after requesting and passing a medical examination. There is no blue print that works for Canada immigration processes and the format is not properly elucidated. A visa officer has absolute right to deny an immigration application if he/she is not satisfied that the applicant is a genuine student. I can tell you for free from the wisdom of my experiences that situations like this often occurs when an immigration officer is not able to complete their assessment on a file before transferring the work load to another visa officer for finalization. The new visa officer who then took up the application from where his colleague stopped will review the supporting documents/comments and may have some reservations thus unavoidably leading to refusal. I have seen this happen on several GCMS notes, albeit it's not common. Above all, should you've received a medical request, your application success is 95% close to approval. Keep the faith alive. ozone00001:From the GCMS notes, the program case analyst has grave concerns that you've not truthfully answered all the questions asked of you especially for the fact that you didn't declare your past visa refusal to the US. To tackle this concern, you need a well-thought argument and detailed explanation that would express your honesty of not having any intention to mislead the immigration authorities. In your response, you should clearly state that it was an honest mistake and highlight the credibility of your several attempts to correct the mistake. As for your sponsor financial stance, the program case analyst is also not satisfied that there will be adequate funds for your proposed period of stay in Canada. To address this concern, I will recommend you print a 1 year bank statement accompanied with mybank statement certificate with ticket ID and password. If possible, you should get pictures of you and your sponsor in the past and evidence of history and ongoing financial support from your sponsor. Act fast NOW! It will end in praise |
chidika:It doesn't matter if your brother is using a personal account for his business transactions. As a matter of fact, IRCC have more regard for personal bank account as they believe that Sponsor have complete assess to the funds in their personal account than a company statement which has somewhat board of directors that might pose to be a hindrance to funds availability during the applicant studies in Canada. Weighing the above points, I will suggest you stick to your brother being the sponsor than his wife who is just a sister-in-law. I hope this information satisfies your inquiry. Lekiboboe:Sequel to the recent update on IRCC official website, every international students medical results must be valid before their arrival in Canada. In view of this, if your medicals is close to expiry (matter of days), its highly advisable that you should renew your medicals prior to considering travelling to Canada. As a general rule, you should receive an email correspondence from IRCC indicating that you're not allowed to travel at this time as their records shows that your medicals has expired. I hope this information is helpful to those who are in dire need of it. It will end in praise |
hoodboy:Provided that the photocopy of the birth certificate is legible, you can use it. It will end in praise |
hoodboy:Glad to hear it was helpful. All the best. It will end in praise |

Kunfu:Undergoing a medical exam without waiting for the immigration authorities of Canada to request for it is called an Upfront Medicals. It is believed to expedite the processing of one's application. It will end in praise |
Johanneiyoha:For study permit is not required, for parents super visa is necessary. It will end in praise |
hoodboy:Are you the principal applicant for the visa application? If yes, you don't require an affidavit to prove your age. Your original international passport is sufficient to cover for this purpose. It will end in praise |
Mike5102:It's perfectly okay to travel in July. Although, your medicals should be valid before your arrival in Canada. You don't need to pay for your tuition fee to the former institution since you intend to change/transfer to another DLI within Canada. Should the immigration officer ask you whether you've paid for your tuition, you can explain to them that your school don't require you to pay tuition fees upfront until the first day to start of classes. I hope this information helps. It will end in praise |
SonofEguasa:Glad to hear you found the information helpful to your case. You're welcome to reach out to me via my signature. It will end in praise |
Oreoluwamipo:I always advice applicants to be truthful as possible in their immigration applications to Canada. I would suggest you include your siblings international passport bio data page (if available). While filling the IMM5645E (family Information form) truthfully declare what your brother does for a living and his current country of residence. It doesn't hurt your application if he is resident abroad. It will end in praise |
Keren12:The visa officer is not satisfied that your proposed program in Canada makes sense given the local options available in Nigeria. This could be as a result of poorly documented study plan which doesn't justify you as a genuine candidate seeking to study in Canada. In your next application, you should rationally demonstrate that your course of study is in tandem with your current work experience and provide adequate proofs as to your establishment in your home country. The refusal reasons are straightforward and can be tackled without a GCMS notes. It will end in praise |
SonofEguasa:Far too many times, prospective applicants applicants ask me questions relating to this topic. In this post, I will carefully address the real issues and meaning behind "Recommend Interview". I hope every participant on this platform makes the most of the information below. Kindly be advised that every immigration applications submitted to IRCC are reviewed by at least two levels of people: 1. Program Case Analyst: Most of the time, it's the Program Case Analyst who does the initial R-10 check that often positions certain applications on "Recommend Interview". They review all information present on file and can only make recommendations as per the applicant's circumstance - i.e, recommended interview (RI), review required (RR), recommended refusal/eligibility failed (EF). The Program Case Analyst may also be able to refuse some ill-equipped applications due to poor documentation. Reason for Recommend Interview; The eligibility status - "Recommend Interview" is mostly common when the Program Case Analyst has certain concerns about the submission of the applicant for an immigration application to Canada. This is largely due to some irregularities on the applicant's employment reference letter and inability to verify applicant's work experience, ineligible financial documents to cover for the applicant's proposed program and upkeep in Canada, and in some cases due to salaries being paid by cash at applicant's place of work. 2. Senior Immigration Officer The Senior immigration officer (visa officer) will then review the notes and assessments of the program case analyst and make the final decision, this also includes whether or not an interview is required. If an interview is necessary to continue processing your application, the status would change to "interview required". However, since the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic, IRCC have not been conducting interviews for prospective applicants both for work permit, spousal sponsorship, parents sponsorship and some other PR applications. In view of the foregoing, an immigration officer may disregard a recommended interview and subsequently grant an approval. My observations; I have reviewed several GCMS notes as of recent and in the past and I have come to understand that majority of applicant's with "Recommend Interview" as the current eligibility assessment on their GCMS notes are later in the visa process approved by the Senior Immigration Officer. Although, in a few cases, some applications may be rejected due to the limited knowledge on the applicant's part to address the initial concerns. This also stems from the fact that the format is not clearly spelled out by the immigration authorities. This is not much of a bother you know, i would recommend you check properly for the pre-assessment notes/comments which can be found on the page 2 or the last two pages of the Gcms notes. I hope this information satisfies your enquiry and future questions relating to the subject matter. It will end in praise. |
ayoebay:Welcome to the thread, I hope you find your stay here very rewarding and exciting. Having examined your profile in its entirety, it would be a smart idea should you apply for a Master's program that is reasonable in light with Chemistry. With your modest CGPA, you stand a better chance of getting a partial funding for your proposed program. The best time to begin the process is after you had obtained your final results and transcripts from your University. For further details, you can always ask your questions here. SonofEguasa:Is the pre-assessment report from the junior immigration officer a positive one?. You may want to share the notes with the group members. It will end in praise |
Naughtyvirgin:I don't believe its a rational progressive step to opt for an ordinary diploma in Nursing considering that you've not attained any relevant experience in this background. I would rather suggest you stick to a program that is in tandem with your previous undergraduate course in Biochemistry (PGD in Biotechnology) and obtain a work reference letter from a registered establishment to support your application. It will end in praise |
Sterling289128:It's an ordinary diploma not a PGD. It will end in praise |
