Several Inspector general of police (AIG) and commisioners or police accept settlements from these yahoo boys and even the so called EFCC only persecute those who cannot meet with their monetary demands. Do you know that these SARS guys are intentionally sent on patrol to extort from yahoo boys? and those who do not comply gets beat up or worse. SARS are not there to fight to arrest and persecute but to take their share of it from these boys. When a hilux rolls out, it comes back to the station with good amount of money, this is how the DPOs and other low ranking police officers profit from it.
