Thanks a lot phyde for your undiluted support, I later mail them and I was told that both are genuine both they belongs to different entity within stanbic holdings. While my own belongs to stanbic stockbroker your own belongs to stanbic capital market.
Please how do you guys move huge funds through stanbic internet banking as I think the minimum per day is 1million. How can someone increase the daily limit?
Please how much is the stanbic stockbroker charges on a million for this ongoing sukuk bond?
Stanbic IBTC internet/web transfer can be increased to maximum of N5 Million. This can be done in the banking hall. To do that you will have to sign an indemnity form with a witness before they can activate it for you.

You can't create panic and cause a market crash. Not possible.

Remember stcool, Chibuking81 when they were making analysis that market will fall, did it fall?

So don't stifle who wants to post his thought the same way lots of people do here and in lots of mobile fora.

Warren Buffett sold his stakes in many companies, did it prevent the stock from rising.

Your view must not always align with others' view. Learn to live and let others live.

As for selling your Unilever, it means you don't even know why you bought the stock in the first place.
Some of their statements sometimes hurt some of us that are still trying to get it together in this stock bussiness. ChibuKing81 I have always known to be an alarmist and won't give his opinions some thoughts when make a serious decision. However, for Stcool I considered his thought and sold off my tasere 20,000 units of UBA @ N5.30 and Zenith @ N13.70 so that I can load more when the market comes down.

I did that because I do not want to be caught napping the second time. I had to average all the little shares I have in my portfolio because I did not heed the sell call earlier.

There were my decisions and I take full responsibility for them. However, I will advice the newbies to take their call with a pinch of salt.

Thanks boss, I have done redemption before and got credited within 2 hours. I will chill till wednesday.
Yes, even less than an hour if it is done on a working day and before 12. However, it will only call for concern if not treated after 3 working days. I believe your first request is already registered and will be treated on Wednesday.

unite4real:
Personally never done any weekend or public holiday redemption before.

A quick question please.

If phyde redeemed 1M on first day of holiday and another 1M on second day of holiday, will he get both treated by next work day and have 2M credited to his account in 1M per time?
I have tried it once. The proceeds were not credited to my account at once. Though I got them the same day but it was hours apart.

I have been trying to redeem part of my MMF with stanbic since May 25, balance still the same and got a message of daily limit exceeded by 1m when I tried again today. I want to believe it's because the muslim holiday. I hope there won't be traffic when banks resume on Wednesday.
Stanbic IBTC daily online limit by default is N1 million. The maximum you can increase it to is N2.5 million. It is only when you increase it either by yourself on their app/web or go in the bank to before you can do a transaction more. 25 May is just yesterday and it is a public holiday not a working day. Be informed that MMF accout is not like your regular bank/savings account. Also note that they clearly state it on their forms that getting proceeds of withdrawal is between 3-5 working days.

Their app is not programmed to automatically carry out some requests like normal bank apps. After your request, it will take human efforts/imput to verify then credit your account. Unfortunately, those humans are entitled to public holidays too.

For your subsequent transactions with them, these are processes you should follow for ease of transaction and reduced anxiety:

1. May sure you do your request on week days excluding public holidays.

2. Make sure your withdrawal request is done early; before 12.00 pm of the day you make the request.

3. Be sure to have upgraded your minimum withdrawal before that day if you have in mind to go beyond the Limit.

Most times when issue like this are presented for diverse opinions some would just be shouting Nairaland is not a doctor or hospital without reading. If you read the post before commenting you would have seen where she wrote that she already saw a Doctor but the rashes persisted.

It is okay to advice that she use a specialist in children issues (pediatrician) in case the Doctor she met before was a general one. However, I still believe there are chances of meeting mothers who have handled such issues here. At least from their experience her shots would be directed to a target instead of shooting into the air.

I do. Just like the normal mutual fund..i.e MMF. Of the 2 Bond Funds is more stable. It grows gradually with very minimal risk. While balance have some elements of risks embedded in their Investment plan.

In my trial with UCAP Balance Funds, N50,000 I invested reduced to about N43,600 within a month. I had to withdraw N43,000 and send to my MMF account. But I noticed it has started growing because the N600+ I left there has risen to N700. Hope this helps.

2. From my observation I don't know how true but it looks like the northerners are the highest receivers of the ID card, because the crowd I saw there the day I collected mine was overwhelmingly north( I'm not accusing any tribe it's just my observation, maybe they enrolled more)
Congratulations, for being able to get it despite all the challenges you went through. Majority of us that registered about the same time with op have not gotten it. Worst part of my situation is that I received a What'sapp message early this year where the NIMC Boss was saying all the cards were ready that we could check whether we got message or not and I went to their HQ where I registered to pick it up only to be told after check that it was not yet ready.

However, I believe the part of your observations stated above is not completely correct. Reason being that my name is completely Arabic without any native name and I have not been able to get but my spouse who bears complete Eastern/ English name has not only collected hers but have finished with the first one. She has been getting SMS to come and renew it since last year.

We both registered at their HQ in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja at the same period. She bear combination of Igbo & English names. While, I on the other hand bear complete Arabic names, I have gone to that office for collection 3 times since I did it about 6-7 years ago. The last being early this year before covid. In all my 3 visits, I was told it was not ready after checking their system.

SIMMF appreciate daily, the Interest of Saturday and Sunday is credited on Monday. GIF fluctuates though it does the principal can not feminist like balanced fund on bad days. The withdrawal process is same with SIMMF very stress-free.

Have you had any experience with them? You can share so people can learn from you.

But, it will interest you to know that, Microfinance banks have been reformed.

NB: They are not my employer. I only invest. The fall of TB rate opened my eyes to that opportunity.

Thank you boss
Ok if they are not your employer then you need to just thread with caution. I was almost falling for them in the beginning when I wanted to start investing. However, research and experiences shared with me reformatted my brain.

The number of microfinance banks that closes at will should be a guide for you. With them convincing you to part with your money by promising bogus interested is a very easy thing. Issues comes up most times when you are to get back your money.

The microfinance bank that I will entrust my money as much as N500,000 for 90 days is yet to open let alone that huge sum. Maybe because you are online, you may get a customer not related to you offline so if they (The Microfinance Bank) refuse to open shop tomorrow as it is their trade mark you will sleep with eyes closed.
CareerRe: N5 Million Cash Or A 100k Job? Help Him Decide by freeman67: 9:52pm On May 10, 2020
It's a 50/50 thing. Alot will depend on his kind of person and the nature of the company. If he is a business savvy person he will do well by collecting the 5 million a start a business with it. However, if he is not business savvy he can go for the job offer. 5 million naira is about salary of 4 years and 2 months if the salary remain constant at that amount. Chances are that he could have other allowances that can make him earn more than just the 100k. He could also be promoted even before that he gets to that 4 years.

So the decision is solely his.

He's a Naval personnel not an officer... This one na even Junior rating self...

The navy isn't pcrc or nscdc where you call every one officer
Yes the "Officers" of the armed forces have so differentiated themselves from the other ranks in a bid to display their superiority however, anybody in the armed forces is an officer. That is you hear NCO meaning non - commision officers. I the army, the officers address themselves as officers and the other ranks are addressed as soldiers. However, on different occasions where I have heard army generals introduce themselves, they introduce themselves as soldiers.

In english the word officer connotes someone in position of authority. Even though that signifies an appointment holder, all government workers are referred to as such. Even in private offices it used too that's why we have account officers in the bank. Nigeria Civil Service categories their personnel into Junior meddle level and senior officers.

Good day house,

Please if anyone here have a soft copy of the recent stamp duty act I will appreciate if he/she can help me with it. My bank keep charging for stamp duty on deposits I made to my account by myself. From the excerpts I have read it should not be that way but they keep doing it. This time I am determined to stop them and possibly ask for a refund. So I will need to have a full picture before I go into the battle with them.

Attempted fraud. There's nothing like that in the Penal code.

The lady should get a lawyer to sue the officers involved and the head of Efcc in that state. Sue for damages and a declaration that they're unfit to hold public office.

That's automatic sack for them.
Na the same court they carry her go so...make she first get lawyer to defend herself from the fraud case first. Everybody will want to sweet talk issue to garner sympathy. Even if she was expecting money from another customer what is wrong to first of all verify your account and confirm the source of the deposit received before you continue to harass the customer.

Then she was showing her strength. Maybe if it was another person that does not work in that office she would have been the first to arrest the person with the police.

For the EFCC guys sha.. the issue is taken too far. If it is in the US taking people to court for any slight mistake/ offence is a normal thing so they may likely take it in good faith but in Nigeria here anything wey happen wey involve arrest and court na long term enemity.
