Bruv, I had the same skepticism as you did when i was about to submit my eAPR. I think the studio and date thingy is for paper based applications. Besides, if you click on the 'instructions' icon where you need to upload your digital photo, the instructions and format are clearly stated there...and there is nothing like putting a date and name of studio there. Also, I consulted a friend who has a success story regarding PPR. The passport specification he used did not have have the name of the studio or date on it.

For those that have submitted their eAPR, what is the specification of passport photograph you used for ur eAPR. I saw some thing like 50mm*70mm and must have name of studio and date behind on CIC website whereas the one I took from one of these visa passport business centres was 35mm*45mm and didn't have the name of d studio and date.

Though the guy kept telling me it's d Canada format and he has done it for others before me but I'm being skeptical because it's not d specification I saw on CIC website.

Is this something I should be concerned about as I'm ready to go for another passport shoot.

Hubby did his own on Wednesday. I will try and make out time to sneak from office to get my own as it expired March.

I just became serious with Canada immigration.
Hubby is now the one putting the fire after he heard the in-laws (elder brother mother in-laws) sent in 6million for acquisition of landed property. This is a woman that worked all her life in Naija, retired at 60 and could not build a family house with both him and his hubby Income. Woman has no education ooo. Less than 4 years in USA, her life just started.
Hubby says we are wasting here! The SIS in-laws Dr was a contract staff in a bank b4 relocating just dashed the elder brother n2milla. Our head just set scatter here. We need to make hard currency .

Also my very close friend just got sinp and has been issued prv . She will be leaving July. She told me when she started processing hers (around August) but I wasny interested cos I've been denied canny study visa twice, so I lost interest. Now, no me dry carry last.

You make it sound like it's gonna be too easy. The truth may not be far from this though but I advise we keep our optimism in check. We should be ready to really work hard to achieve the success we so much desire.

One thing is true though....we are all wasting away in this dead country cry

I know we will all live our Canadian dreams.

Body of Letter: My name is xxxx xxxxxx and I am the owner of savings account number yyyyyyyyyy with Zenith bank PLC. I wish to apply for the above mentioned document to enable me complete a visa application with canadian embassy. The requirements for the letter are listed below;
1. Must contain name of the Financial Institution and contact information (current address, telephone number and email)
2. Your name, date of opening the account, average 6-monthly balance and current balance
3. Make use of bank letterhead

The letter should be addressed thus;
Central Intake Office
Immigration, Refugess, Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Canada.

I'd like to ask from those who have gone ahead of us...what bank do you recommend to build funds and that is most flexible with the statement thing...I am asking because i read reports of some people saying their bank did not give them statements addressed to CIC. I have both Access and GTB savings. Which do you recommend most? Though i am more predisposed towards Access as i have a couple of familiar and friendly faces in the Customer Care department of my branch.

I was able to get the reference letter of bank details for proof of fund in CIC format from Zenith Bank. I simply walked into one of the branches very early one morning and stated my request to one of the customer service ladies and she asked me to write an application for it. I wrote the application listing out clearly the CIC requirements that should reflect in the letter.

It took like two weeks because it needed approval from head office but yesterday I was called to come collect my letter.

So God is now partial by preselecting us even before the beginning for salvation and leaving the rest of humanity doomed for destruction.

See why I say you guys should look up to the teaching body of the Church to guide your interpretation of sacred Scripture. God's omniscient nature is the reason behind those passages you guys are misconstruing for predestination. When we say God is omniscient it's because he exists outside time. So he knows the end even from the beginning. In the end he has seen it all play out and this inspired the writings we hold sacred as scripture.

Everything that is written exists in time. So God knows about it. This doesn't mean he directly interferes with our choices. He respects them so much that he made us masters of our own destinies. If u deceive yourself that because u think u were chosen and you fail to live justly u will suffer the loss of your soul.

So let's be Wise and pray to God for the strength to follow him all the way to the end, trusting not in our own righteousness but in his bountiful, merciful and awesome saving power.

Hi All, I applied for Ontario’s Nominee Programme (OINP) 8 weeks ago. After I submitted my OINP application, I was still in the EE pool. 3 weeks ago, I received ITA because my CRS score was 423. Please note that as at the time I received ITA via EE, my OINP application was still being processed. Yesterday I got an email from OINP saying that they are attempting to issue me a nomination (PNP) through my EE profile but my EE profile states “no longer available for nomination”. My questions are –

1. Why am I no longer available for nomination? I assume it is because I have already received ITA via EE…am I right?
2. How do I respond to OINP? Decline the PNP as I already have ITA…?

Perhaps I shouldn’t have applied for OINP in the 1st place – but I was so desperate because I thought my CRS score of 423 will not get me an ITA via EE (this was when the CRS score was not even dropping this much)

Please I need answers to the questions because OINP have given me 24 hours to respond to their email….

It's no use continuing OINP when u already have ITA. So respond to OINP that you already have ITA and no longer wish to be nominated at this time.

It's either Christ's death is insufficient to pay for everyone's sins or He died not for everyone.

My dear the fact that some people by their own choice reject the free gift of salvation offered by a loving God through his Christ and by that choice stand condemned doesn't make Christ's sacrifice on the cross insufficient.

If u do not understand what Justification means the church is there to guide you. Be careful on how you interpret scriptural texts lest u become guilty of spreading falsehood as truth. Here below is the truth,(next paragraph) read it carefully and ask d spirit to guide you to understand it for it's a summary of what scripture teaches about our salvation and Justification.

Everyone must work for his/her own salvation in fear and trembling and it is only the grace of God offered freely (and accepted by free choice by the individual) that will make any man die to sin as Christ died on the cross and rise to eternal life as Christ rose from the dead so that in the end no man will boast that his salvation is as a result of his work.

I think it's becoming so childish the way we come here and celebrate when one of our countrymen is paraded for drug related offenses in a foreign country. First off these foreigners do not make any distinctions about us as they see us as Nigerians. If not for the failure of our law enforcement agencies this national embarrassment we face daily from those who have sworn to get rich quick by trafficking drugs would have been nipped at the bud. The law enforcement agents that fail to crackdown on these traffickers back home are spread out to virtually all tribes so it makes no sense bashing only the Igbos for perpetuating drug related offences abroad.

Until we grow up and face this issue maturely our reputation will continue to be smeared in the committee of Nations. It's about time we channel our disgust at d right places...#NDLEA #FAAN #NigeriaCustoms

Before I got married, I had an international passport that I used to travel once to india. Later I was denied U.K. Visa on this same passport. Then I got married and did change of name to husbands last name. I also got a new passport that bears my new married name. My old passport was never returned to me (the immigration officer later said it was lost) after I used it to apply for new one with a new name. Now in our eAPR, should we choose yes to "have you been denied visa to any country "? I'm confused because I don't even have the old passport (in my pre-marriage name) anymore. I know if I put yes, I might be required to upload the old passport and the only travel history (india trip) in it. Please let me know what you think. Note that I have traveled a lot on my new passport and been never been denied visa.

Sorry about Ur predicament. I understand how confused you are right now over this. You are getting the temptation of concealing information about your previous UK visa denial because if do not mention your old passport it's possible CIC will remain oblivious of this. I will rather advise strongly against this as you do not know how CIC does their PR visa verification. Remember you will supply every information about your recent adult life in other parts of d eAPR and I'm almost certain UK will keep records of your visa denial. If they happen to share this information with CIC you don't only risk a rejection but an outright ban from Canada.

Left to me u should be honest about your refusal. Get a declaration or an affidavit to validate your claim of losing the old passport. The lawyers in d house can also assist here in telling u d right type of document to go for. Attach a LOE and any documents to show why you were denied d visa even if it's an old email.... anything at all u can find. They won't reject u simply because u were refused visa by UK but if u misrepresent u will be banned for 5 years!

Keep calm, your Canada dream is still on track. All d best!

I think you should send a case specific enquiry(CSE) to CIC explaining the error of paying in advance for eAPR on the express entry system. Attach the receipt send to you to the mail. I expect that they will refund your money and then you can proceed to make payment on your eAPR.

Also if your dollar account is still funded you can make another payment this time from your eAPR portal while you still pursue your refund from CIC. However I will only advice you consider this if your 90 day deadline is fast approaching as sometimes it may take up to 10 working days for CIC to attend to CSEs.

I and my spouse are having a similar situation. Some of our documents like degree certificates bear the abridged version of our native names while our passport bears the full version. What I plan to do is get an affidavit of name correction from a federal high Court and also supporting with a LOE. Is this move sufficient?

Carefully review your application to find out what u need to update. Recently POF where reviewed so probably u need to update that. Also make sure your ielts and ECA reports are not invalid.

U may need to create another profile to effect the right change. You can write to SINP in a case specific enquiry on why you had to open a new EE profile.
