Ladies and gentlemen, I woke up this morning and I saw it sitting nicely in my inbox. Really the feeling is surreal. If you don't give up definitely you will achieve your goals and when we trust God with all our hearts he comes true for us. I cannot contain my joy. I've got PPR! My timeline CRS: 428 NOC: 0911 Family size: 4 IELTS: LRWS (87.588) ITA: April 12th E-APR submission: June 18th RPRF payment: June 18th Medicals/IP1: July 12th BGC NA: July 13th IP2: July 31st PPR: August 4th |
40manlappy:Congratulations 40man, go ye now and conquer in Canada. |
Draw done finally CRS increased only by one point from last draw |
bigfido:mehn I'm also worried now with this spike in CAD rate. I hope it won't affect my application since I'm already at IP2 stage. What stage are you at currently? Have u already submitted your eAPR? |
bigfido:What mumjgirls is trying to tell u is that you cannot use Ur pension funds as your main POF. The rule for POF states that the funds have to be liquid. Pension, properties and assets are not liquid funds so are not acceptable as POF. Also note that a portion of pension funds can be liquidated by Nigerian pension law even before one reaches the statutory retirement age of 50. I for one accessed this fund and used it to shore up my POF when I needed to update my family size. All I did was to explain to CIC with a LOE d source of the extra funds and the purpose. So technically I'm using pension as POF, but it's the already liquidated part of it. You can also use Ur property but u must sell it first and be sure to prove to CIC how d funds came about. However we have seen cases where some people use their pension as a kind of buffer for their POF and VOs were okay with this and have approved their application. These people have already met up to about 80-90% of the POF amount and used the pension to compensate for the remainder. The reason why CIC VOs accept this may not be far fetched from what I explained earlier. They have become aware that by our Nigerian pension act we can have access to 25% hardship claim and if by their calculation that is enough to cover whatever deficit you have from your liquid cash they will go ahead and approve your application. I hope this clears your doubts and guides others having trouble with POF. Have a great day! |
300ng:Why this sudden spike. This is not good oo. Well I heard they use the exchange rate as at when our AOR date to take decision on POF. Although one may need to top up the funds after COPR to avoid any issues at POE. God dey sha! |
Wura27:CIC did not ask for statement of account. The main requirement as per document to show for proof of fund is the bank letter in CIC format which many banks will refuse especially if you don't know how to ask. What people now do to go around this is to print their bank statement coupled with a bank cover letter and LOE and so far this may fly with most if not all VOs provided no foul play is involved. So fear not if you used bank statement. I was only just trying to tease Temitope a little. |
Abeg make I ask the elders around. The passport photograph we took for eAPR which was in June can I still use it for PP submission after PPR? I'm thinking since it's not up to 3months hope it won't be a problem |
temitope06:Egbe, u don see your life now? when u dey busy dey upload 100pages of bank statements for your eAPR instead of one page of bank letter in CIC format the visa officers were busy smiling and looking at you saying "you think you are doing us, you are just doing yourself" ![]() Calm down, we all go celebrate Xmas for canny land that one na under must. |
Morbolar:18days |
boldinc:ITA April 12th AOR June 19th Medicals passed/IP1 July 12th BGC NA July 13th IP2 July 31st Visa office: Ottawa |
And we are inching ever closer to the promised land. Just checked my profile and there's been an update. Ladies and gentlemen it's IP2
|
Remxyj:The IP1 change happens very quickly for some that they tend to miss it. I think this is what happened in your case. IP1 happens just before or when you get medicals passed and it last for between 0- 14days then BGC goes back to NA. When I had my IP1 I had checked my profile in d morning and no updates but when I saw people to n the forum with AOR close to mine reporting seeing medicals passed I had to check again late in the night and that's when I saw my BGC at IP1 with medicals passed. By the next morning I checked again and it had changed to NA. Before I got the mail from CIC that my account has an update was 2days after. |
Remxyj:Checking once a day is okay. Though be careful not to overdo it and give yourself High BP in the process. |
Yooku:Hehehehe...you know na, Stanley cup things |
Onlineise:You never can tell, Sydney may just pick up form and fast track all the apps on their table. One thing I've learned from this PR experience is that nothing stays the same. I remember quite vividly a period where everyone wanted their files processed at London VO but today London appears to be one of the slowest. Cheer up u may be rather watching ice hockey league in canny in d next couple of months. By the way, I also sent a mail to CIC and I was told my file is being processed in Ottawa. AOR June 19th BGC NA for 15days now after IP1/med pass. |
MummyJaygirls:Congratulations area mother! I saw this your PPR coming from far away. Now that you have found PPR, what are you gonna do with it. |
What a good day for us especially all those that received PPR. I'm happy the ITA rain I predicted happened as I foresaw. Congrats to you all and exercise caution for the remainder of the journey. Now that we have several applications processed to PPR we have better hope that we are inching ever closer to receiving the golden mail of our own. Until then may God continue to calm our minds. |
MummyJaygirls:That's great. Have u found out where your file is being processed If it's Ottawa you will get PPR this week. |
MummyJaygirls:Congrats...your journey is almost coming to an end. When did you get IP2 if I may ask? |
sammyacbxyz:I really feel for PNP applicants o. It's not easy waiting out an eAPR. Well we all should let it sink in that the race requires patience and close our minds to the speedy indians ![]() |
MummyJaygirls: |
LordSebastian:Walahi but if those Indians send mail to check their VO they get replies in 24hrs. This wan done pass bias enter partiality |
ITABABE:Na Indians dey enjoy this express entry pass. I know two Indians from immitracker dat got PPR in 31 and 32 days respectively. I wonder why our applications can't go as fast. ![]() |
MummyJaygirls:I really don't think the wording really applies. In my case for example I got d we are processing.... But it was IP1. Some other people only see it as dat for IP2. CIC uses both phrases interchangeably so it's left for one to monitor his application to spot the changes as only den will u know whether u r in IP1 or IP2. |
MummyJaygirls:Abegii...u wan begin claim na. I don already shine finish ![]() |
MummyJaygirls:As you agbaya reach for this thread you no Sabi wetin be IP2. ![]() Well, it's the stage of your BGC when you see in progress for the second time. Irrespective of however it's worded, your BGC status will show In progress first just after medicals passed (IP1), then after staying in NA (not applicable) for between 15- 45 days from current trend it goes to in progress again. Most applicants get PPR between 2-5 days after IP2. |
I smell another PPR storm loading especially for May AORs. Brace yourselves May people! |
Awesome that's all I can say. Simply awesome |
.. M |
Ballerz:Calm down I've come to learn patience in all this Canada immigration journey. I actually started since April last year and till now I'm still on it. Forgive me for holding brief for d hurry hurry fifle ![]() |
Ballerz:I'm sure you are not in Nigeria that's why u r sounding so relaxed. I've never seen an outland PR applicant that doesn't want his application processed speedily. This wait can be killing because of that constant fear of rejection |

thanks for the tutorials
