skeendyke:You are spot on @skeendyke in ur analysis. The serpent did not force them to eat the fruit. Rather it told them that eating the fruit would make them be like God. Analysing this proposition with their reason they must have thought to themselves how cool it would feel being of equal pedestal with God. They weighed this against God's threat that it would lead to their death. They believed the serpent over God and made their choice. Who knows what sinister plans they had when they would become like God? That's the origin of everything bad we see in the world today. As man fell from grace the earth fell too with him. Thank God for his omniscience. He already knew the way to bring man back to his lost glory. He was going to send his Christ to save the world. |
theoneJabulani:of course they always had free will even before the fall |
hahn:This your unbelief has gradually metamorphosed into spiteful hate and dont you think it is awkward hating what u believe doesn't exist ![]() |
You know that God is called the Almighty for a reason right. Everything he does is right and just. Man on the other hand was created in the image and likeness of God and so he was equally good and spotless. Being made in the image and likeness of God man was given the power of reason and the gift of free will. The tree was the test to how man will exercise that gift and the consequence of which righteousness will be ascribed to him or unrighteousness which will let him fall from grace. The tree was planted so that man will decide his own fate and not God choosing his path for him. The choice has been made and we have all seen the consequences. If it wasnt a tree, God would certainly had set any other kind of test for our first parents to prove their loyalty to his laws or commands. To choose their destiny whether they would be righteous or not. I hope I answered u well |

klawaaa:You don't have to |
Doggys:The OID like you heard is paper based. When you go to apply online at the Saskatchewan page you should select that you are not in the CIC Express entry pool to make an OID application. After submitting your application you will receive a confirmation mail from government of Saskatchewan. They will review your application for completeness and also check your eligibility. if anything is missing from your application it would be rejected and you will be sent another mail telling you what was missing in your application and how you can re-apply correctly next time. If your application is complete and you are eligible you should get your nomination accepted within the processing time of 4.5months. Then you will be directed to IRCC at Nova Scotia where you will be asked to submit your visa application. It's another valid route of getting PR visa just like express entry although it may take a little longer. I'd say u can work on both at the same time and pick whichever works out first. |
Jetspeed:Congrats man. which province nominated you if I may humbly ask? |
3 vital points bagged today. If we continue with this form in the end we won't have to solve further maths to pick the lone ticket from this group. The unsung hero for me today is Karl Ikeme. Without his heroics we would not have come out with all 3points today. Omeruo let d team down with his shambolic defense but we r thankful it didn't cost us more than that 1 goal. Now we turn our focus on Algeria Vs Cameroon and hope they both play a lazy goalless draw. Up SE |
Mordyb:How dare you class Mikel alongside Omeruo.. MIKEL put in a good shift today. |
I was telling someone yesterday that anything short of 3 points from this team today would be unacceptable. I thank God they are living up to the expectation I have for them. Everyone has impressed me so far except moses Simon on the right wing who has been abysmally poor today. Good thing we have several better replacement for him |

Give it some time, I think the website is having some technical difficulties. Try again after 24hrs. egariyi: |
egariyi:I had the same challenge. What I did was to use my sister's access bank ATM card and it went through. I noticed that my ATM was mastercard while my sister's was visa. Maybe that was why her's went through and mine did not. Give it another shot with an access bank ATM card. Another option is to contact someone in Canada or the US to buy money order for you and send to your address in Nigeria so you can include in your package but that is more expensive and time consuming. |
Does anyone know where I can get an international money order to include in my IQAS package as payment for my ECA? |
irondome:The diploma is issued once you pass three modules of examination. I passed all three in one sitting so it took me just one year to obtain it. For some it can take as much as 3 years. It's an international certification so I took it in Nigeria hut the diploma was sent to me from UK. I have tried using the WES equivalency tool but there is no option for diploma selection on it. |
Good morning pals. I have a question that has been bugging my kind and need your kind assistance to clarify. On simulating my CRS score using the CRS calculator tool on CIC website, I discovered I would get only 430 points which is below the 450benchmark for EE without PNP. I have only a B.Sc and 5years work experience in manufacturing management. I have a diploma in Brewing certificate from the institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD) UK. If this diploma can be evaluated I can fill in 2 or more certificates in the CRS Calculator and my score will leap to 462. I am moving with my spouse and 1 kid and POF is already sorted out. My question is can my IBD diploma be evaluated and which of the ECA bodies do you think will do this right. Cc dupyshoo irondome bigfido |
vcole:I am just tired of the whole thing. I only got the purchase receipt mail. It's as though they do not even have my information on their database but they have deducted their fee. I have called them twice now and will call again today. I guess today I'd insist on speaking to their supervisor to get this issue sorted once and for all. I used my sisters access bank ATM to make the payment. They deducted about 71k for it. |
vcole:Yea. I finally made payment but it was as if there was network error at same time as my payment went thru (using access bank visa card). I got a payment receipt mail but I dnt know how to complete my application now because the site timed out. |
bigfido:Thanks. I have a joint account in access bank. Let me see if we can explore that option. Modified: Just realised joint accounts are not entitled to ATM cards. Well where there is a will, there is surely gotta be a way ![]() |
justicia:Thank u justicia. I have just a debit card and I kept trying to make online payment all to no avail. I don't know how to go about this now because I really want to do this with IQAS due to their speed ![]() |
I'm having a tough time paying online for iqas credential evaluation for my spouses degree certificate using my GTB ATM. Any clue on how to resolve this? Cc iphie25 |
A colleague of mine got disengaged from his place of work of 5 years and is faced with an issue. The company is insisting on making certain deductions from his exit pay before final payment of d remnant sum. The deductions are balances of car grant and housing allowance upfront payed to him in January(dude was laid off in may). Now note that it's a car grant and not a loan. The car grant is an agreed sum of money paid to junior level managers to enable then secure a vehicle. The amount is amortised over 4years and deductions made to reflect this and show balance on his payslip monthly. In essence no deductions are made from his basic pay for it. In the eventuality that you resign from the company then you pay the balance of the value. In my friends case he did not resign rather the company was downsizing and he was affected. For the housing upfront, the company usually pays housing allowance as a lump sum in January. So according to them, they will recover the balance from the exit benefits since he did not last the full course of the year with them. So my question to the house if it is legally tenable considering the circumstances for the company to make such deductions from his exit benefit. If it is illegal to make such deductions how will you advise my friend to go about confronting the company to desist from their position. My friend is already considering taking legal action against them. Mods please help move to front page. We need all d expert advice we can get Cc davide470 |
W Seun:Which empirical data can you show to back this claim? I guess your faith in atheism is the driving force in your making these bogus claim about religion. Atheism requires tremendous amount of faith to profess. Secondly the God you so desperately jettison for lack on proof, what proof have you supplied to disprove his existence? |
Has anyone ever done ECA with CES Here? Those guys seem to me to be really slow in their services |
@ op, my advice goes this way. If your story is true cos I know pple can say anything to draw traffic on the net, you have to be very calm now and fervent in your devotion to God. By you I mean you and your wife because the two of you are one now. This is no time to be running about like a headless chicken from one church to another. I wonder why our generation of Christians behave as if their church is more important than Christ our Lord. That said just be steadfast in devotion. No power in the universe can hurt you or your household. Not unless the Lord wills it. The child you lost is with the Lord and is enjoying eternal bliss. If you stay faithful at the end of your time you will still see your child again. In all stand firm in God through prayers and righteousness. Never sin or profane his name all in the bid to take vengeance. Do not confront your mother at all, rather cling tightly to the God who saves you. Focus more on God than on your supposed enemy. When you start loving him more, you start trusting him and then you will realise that only his will shall manifest in your life. Above all encourage your wife because her pronunciation about dying is a sign of despair. That is sinful against the Holy spirit. It is never over until it's over so a good christian that trusts God must never throw in the towel. U can see that sometimes we think we are sanctified because of our prayers and Good deeds so our prayers must be answered. But such pronunciation from your wife reeks of unrighteousness in the sight of God. Whatever you are going through may be trials from God. Read the book of Job from start to end to see what I mean by this. God made it clear that he owes no human explanation for his ways. He is the potter and we r the clay. Both of you should pray to God for forgiveness and ask for his grace to carry your daily crosses. Faith is believing that God will save you, hope is waiting for him to save you and love is keeping to his tenets of being at peace with your neighbour until the end. It is well with you and your household. God has given you victory. Go claim it. |
I am just curious. What is the essence of applying to the job bank after creating an EE profile? Has anyone ever got a job through the job bank? |
SomebodyLovesMe:Thanks pal. |
SlowlybtSurely:Thanks pal. Is this still good enough to enter the pool or would you suggest either/both of us resit. I do not think 12 points is big enough to equate financing another IELTS test. How many points will one lose for age between 29years and 30 years |
Our IELTS result just got in. Mine L8.0, R7.5, W8.0, S8.0 overall 8.0. Wife's L6.5, R6.5, W7.5, S7.0 overall 7.0. With this result will we get the maximum score for language. Someone posted a link where one can convert IELTS score to CLB band but I can't seem to find it. Who knows want CLB band these scores translate to. I am the principal applicant. |
forkadict:Thanks for the mention boss. It is well. All way na way. We shall move on to other things. Life must go on. Happy to see you r adjusting to your new role coupled with the challenges u mentioned. Never forget why you r doing it while at it. God is ur strength. |
Well this is where I draw the curtains on this one. His will be done. I just saw the unsuccessful mail. No regrets in any way tho because I believe that God can never make a mistake with my destiny. Good thing I have made my peace with this reality last week when the success mails rolled out so now I feel nothing but relief that I've been unhooked from all this 'I dunno what to call it' recruitment. For all those like me who got the unsuccessful mail I want to beg you not to despair now. There are many routes to the top. Our Lord Jesus Christ has said that we should see God as our heavenly father. And as a father he would always give us the best because we as sinful as we are give our earthly children good things. What more our God that is holy and just. As bad as we want NLNG God is telling us that he loves us so much that he would rather give us something else which will benefit us better. God has indeed answered our prayers with this unsuccessful feedback. Continue to trust God and keep working hard. Seek out better opportunities and work hard. Take pride in the fact that NLNG did not employ you not because you were not good enough as from their feedback it's clear we did well at the AC but due to some biases which were not to our favour we were dropped. In life when we pray God can either answer u by saying yes(those who got in), or No(those who got regret mails) or wait(those who were wait listed) . In the end we all got answers to our prayers. I wish all of you the best in your future endeavours. It has been great hanging with you all on this thread. |
