yanabasee1: The way the igbos are going about this, will push Nigeria into another civil war....
I hope that we are truly prepared for this nonsense..
Many should know that, there are a lot of igbos in the north than Hausas and Fulanis in the East.
So because there are many lgbos in the north than Fulanis in the East for that we should worship them or allow them take our land, kill us and our children as well rape our daughters and mother's?
[quote author=kollinz1234 post=102493228]Dear Nairalanders, I was just wondering iif our own Nairaland pastor @RIGHTEOUSNESS 2 is the late TB JOSHUA. This is not to wish him (Righteousness 2) death or anything, but I have been a strong admirer of his posts on Nairaland and have noticed that since TB JOSHUA was reported dead, I have not been seeing any post from @Righteousness 2. It makes me wonder.
Someone should please confirm.[/ Maybe he's mourning for the death of the departed one or gone to the mountain to enquire of the Lord the course of the death.
You're a blood sucking demon who thought that the igbos will just stand and watch you blood suckers to perpetrate your aim without anyone saying pim. Come with your propegander and your Fulani brothers ESN is waiting for you.
Rehimusals: In recent months, police stations and checkpoints in the South East and some States in the South-South have come under attack by gunmen and it is not far-fetched that authorities have named the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) or their sympathisers as the culprits. The floating of the Eastern Security Network, an illegally run outfit by IPOB seems to have emboldened the group to execute coordinated killing of Police operatives and attacks on their security formations. Experts have analysed these attacks as part of the group’s grand strategy to amass weapons ahead of its declaration of independence from Nigeria. IPOB itself has acknowledged it manufactures weapons locally and these attacks are reportedly carried out using weapons such as Rocket Propelled Grenades, Improvised Explosive Devices and Sub-Machine Guns. The degeneration of security in the south east must be viewed seriously. No one should be deluded with the idea that the ESN is a friendly organization. Despite IPOB and ESN denial of not being responsible for attacks, how come they have not captured those behind the attacks? The south east is gradually becoming vulnerable to terror attacks, security agencies must fight back to dismantle this illegal network called ESN.
donmixc: see them displaying human heads/skull and happily dancing, no wonder skull mining is lucrative in the south. What a backward region am I sharing this country with, they claimed north is backward and illiterates, but see them displaying stupidity to the whole world of because of some useless culture, I am so disappointed being in the same country with infidels

"My appreciation also goes to the chairman Abia APC Registration panel, Amb. Bala Mohammed Mairiga and his team for joining me to be grace this exercise.
"The chairman can see for himself that the APC in Abia is deeply rooted, in the last few days he was accompanied me to some decamping ceremonies of people former other parties into our party. On behalf of our national chairman Gov. Buni I welcome you to our great party.
They have started gathering but any gathering that is not for the benefit of 100% of the population of the country may they never be alive to see 2023.
You see the problem have with our leaders, when the issue started they where playing unconcern but now that so many lives and property has been destroyed they have met to seek for solution. Well, better late than never.
plaindealer: So, of what relevance is your personal opinion against tens of millions of proud Nigerian.
Are the so called best brains better than your own brain right here in Nigeria and you can not make any meaningful contribution to make Nigeria better just because a hand of of Nigerians out of over 200 million Nigerians are now part of international institutions?
What do you personally have to offer Nigeria apart from your negative, lackluster and self induced apathy dispositions.?
Btw, you mean all the developing countries should start rejecting international appointments because their countries are not yet developed? It is unfortunate that Nigeria is saddled with your kind of negative and unpatriotic mentality.
I don't need to join words with you because you reason one way and moreover if you are one of the good two hundred million Nigerians you shouldn't have used the word, negative and unpatriotic mentality. just because ones opinion.
plaindealer: Nigeria is buried according to you, that's your own personal opinion, not the opinion of tens of millions of proud Nigerians.
Btw, buried people are not recognized, they are not seen or even considered for any local or international position so you did not make any sense with your comment, it was just your personal opinion.
Yes it's personal opinion, but don't you think that it would have been better to use the best brain to develop your country before you send them out?
I'm so sorry that she throw your belongings out of the house of which I know it's not good. Secondly, you did not behave well by going to her pot without her concent. Let me tell you this and every other person reading thread, there are two things that women don't tolerate.
(1) Going to her pot without her concent.
(2) Interfering in the matter that concerns her and her husband. You will be a good brother in-law or sister in-law.
Miranwa: Good Day Nairaland, I tried parking my friend's car yesterday night and i without concentrating, bashed it against a piller.
I have be worried since morning and want to fix it before he comes back, he traveled to the village.
Is it something serious, or just the bumper. And how much will it cost to repair.
Please help a brother.
If I where him I will not be happy with you as a friend that you bashed my car and you refuse to inform me even if you have millions of naira in your account. My advice to you is to let him know what happened at the same time that they're working on it.
NiRfreak: Today I was really angry. Someone got me so mad that I could destroy things or harm the person. But I maintained my cool. Yet I was just mad almost all day that I couldn't concentrate on anything else. Then I became angrier for being angry and being in a bad mood that was caused by someone else.
Then this evening, and since it's been a while I went out to drink cos I've been very busy lately. So I went to my ATM and withdraw as much as I could afford to waste. I went to a bar, drink, drink, took peppersoup..and took a couple of stick... Now I'm a happy man and no longer angry.
I'm. now wondering how people who don't drink nor smoke or go on lavishing spree manage to relieve their anger when mad..Hmmm. This life is too short to allow people spoil ya mood
When ever you're angry take a cup of cold water and put the best music that you so much like. It works for me and now I am the master of my temperament.
BuySweetOrange: Although you have resigned from your previous place of employment... Try to find a way to go back and beg the management/ management. They might take you back
If you mistakingly try this to any black man company your slavery will have no remedy.
slimjohn2k5: Hello guys I will like to advise us on job change because I was so frustrated with my recent job, after going for interview with another it took them time to reach back and told me to resign from my current job to process my new job. After resigning, 3days before I went to the new company I was called that I will be trained for 2yrs which was the second red flag.
The first red flag is that all the top officers of the company were women which I was uncomfortable with.
I got there yesterday to pick up work tool and all I saw was a turn off 1. IT guy asked me to turn on my data to set up the laptop they will give me 2. We will be working from home till Corona clears out. No power (Gen) support, I asked for data and the hr guy said I will reach out to Admin. 3. No pension, hmo, housing scheme, transportation, I was already boiling inside of me 4. He said I am resuming as a contract staff and they will make me full staff at their convenient time. That I just heard that day. 4. I will work one year before I am entitled to leave. I will be under supervision for 2yrs and cannot leave the company within that period 5. Most annoying part is that he said it is a Christian company I nearly slap the guy.
These and many other red flags I saw.
So guys do not resign from your previous job before taking another offer. If the new offer is not good enough turn it down and continue with the old job till a better one comes. It's very annoying, mostly this so call local content. I have been battling with number 3 for two years now with the ministry.
November1857: Okonjo-Iweala set to be first woman named WTO bosss
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala looks set to be confirmed Monday as the first woman and first African leader of the beleaguered World Trade Organization, a near-paralysed institution desperately needing a kick-start.
The WTO has called a special general council meeting at which the former Nigerian finance minister and World Bank veteran is expected to be formally selected as the global trade body’s new director-general.
US President Joe Biden strongly swung behind her candidacy shortly after the only other remaining contender, South Korean Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee, pulled out.
“I look forward to finalising the process,” Okonjo-Iweala said on February 6 after securing the Biden administration’s support.
The organisation is also eager to conclude the drawn-out process, having been leaderless since Brazilian career diplomat Roberto Azevedo stepped down last August, a year ahead of schedule.
The process of picking one of eight candidates to succeed him had been expected to wrap up by November, but the administration of former US president Donald Trump blocked the consensus to appoint Okonjo-Iweala.
– ‘Reform candidate’ – The 66-year-old will not be at the WTO’s Geneva headquarters for Monday’s virtual session and it is not known when she would take up her duties.
The 164-member organisation’s special session gets under way at 1400 GMT and Okonjo-Iweala is scheduled to hold an online press conference two hours later.
The WTO picks its leaders through consensus-finding, so even though she is the only candidate still in the race — boasting US, EU and African backing — there is always the chance of a spanner being thrown in the works.
She will take over an organisation mired in multiple crises and struggling to help member states navigate the severe global economic slump triggered by the coronavirus pandemic.
Okonjo-Iweala argued during the race that she was best placed out of the eight candidates for the post to steer the WTO through the crises.
“I am a reform candidate,” she insisted.
She has among other things warned that growing protectionism and nationalism have been spurred on by the pandemic and insists barriers need to be lowered to help the world recover.
Even before Covid-19 battered the global economy, the WTO was weighed down by stalled trade talks and struggled to curb trade tensions between the United States and China.
The WTO also faced relentless attacks from Washington under Biden’s predecessor Donald Trump. Among other things, Trump brought the WTO’s dispute settlement appeal system to a grinding halt in late 2019.
– ‘Boldness, courage’ – Okonjo-Iweala has said her priorities include getting long-blocked trade talks on fishery subsidies across the finish line and breathing life back into WTO’s Appellate Body.
Twice Nigeria’s finance minister (2003-2006 and 2011-2015) and first female foreign minister in a two-month stint in 2006, Okonjo-Iweala is seen as a trailblazer.
She has brushed off claims she lacks experience as a trade minister or negotiator, insisting that what is needed to lead the WTO is not technical skills but “boldness, courage”.
She has portrayed herself as a champion against Nigeria’s rampant corruption — saying her own mother was even kidnapped over her attempts to tackle the scourge.
She has portrayed herself as a champion against Nigeria’s rampant corruption — saying her own mother was even kidnapped over her attempts to tackle the scourge.
But her critics argue she should have done more to tackle it while in power.
A development economist by training with degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard, Okonjo-Iweala has also had a 25-year career as a development economist at the World Bank, eventually becoming its number two.
She is on the Twitter board of directors and chaired Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
What will you remember President Muhammad Buhari for? Personally, I think my parents and their ilk lied to me about him. What picture will history paint PMB?
I will only remember that if he is alive things wouldn't have been the way it is today, maybe better or worse.
They have probably used ds six years to prepare, by buying weapons with d south’s oil money.
They have also placed der pple in powerful positions...and yu think u r ready?
my brother let me tell you there's no community in the South and South East that is free with arms and they know that. Take for instance ESN they are in every community,so what they know we knows it and ready to defend myself and my family.
