in as much that its hard for me to believe the different accounts from different eyewitnesses, I can never believe the police version. lai lai, not our Nigerian police, they cannot conduct investigation and conclude within two hours. God helps Nigeria.
From what l read, nowhere did police say it was a conclusion, they said investigations are still on but from what they know so far it is connected to the well known fight in SA.
Minutes after the incident, even your Igbo brothers in SA already leaked the information because many have been killed over the years in SA for the same issue. Some Igbo's from the community all over social Media shared same info, even SA's themselves.

You don't know IPOB pigs at all.
Lol, unfortunately everything is now tribal in Nigerian politics. Government is also partly to blame for this nonsense, both past and present.

Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba will suffer from demented IPOB pigs today because of these news.

Watch as they start screaming marginalization.
They shouldn't do that, l watched a documentary on channels yesterday that shows federal Government is also on the calabar port for proper expansion.
PoliticsRe: Anambra Election: ‘arrest And Detain Nnamdi Kanu’ Now…edwin Clark Explodes by freshest4live: 10:34pm On Aug 06, 2017
I have read the full version of the interview, l think the heading is mischievous, and out of context because he also called for the arrest of Arewa, but stated that if both parties can't be arrested for the sake of peace then let's live in peace and let the Government address the issues of marginalization.
Never trust bloggers and their headings to stare up the polity for the sake of traffic.

comparison with Sudan ?.. but you pride yourself as African giant

.what is your take on that
There's nothing you won't see on nairaland, so there should be a Naija/Sudan battle somewhere. If there isn't, then someone would create such a thread soon.

Yeah l only replied her twice for that same reason. Even if someone states Somalia is better than Nigeria, you would find it difficult convincing them. Most of them haven't been to those countries either or they just visited the capitals then compare to their part of Nigeria.

Someone has argued with me here that Cameroon is also better than Nigeria. I no longer argue with these people, we believe what we want.

I am a real Nwafor and I am proud of my tribe but very ashamed of some IPOBIANS. They have nothing upstairs and are behaving like the Nazis of Germany. Everything is insult to them. If Aboki were the ones behaving like this I won't be shocked but these are my Igboe brethren. It is very painful.
Lol, lt's also surprising to find Igbo's laying their wrappers on the floor for kanu.
Ipob is now a religion, but it's good they are literally peaceful for now(,in actions though).

We've seen all these over and over again and it yields nothing in the end, just endless and baseless arguements. You'll see Rwanda better than Nigeria, Kenya better than Nigeria, Zimbabwe better than Nigeria, Gabon better than Nigeria, Ghana better than Nigeria, etc.

Of course, tell me what do you know about SA?
PoliticsRe: Why Is South Africa 100% Better Than Nigeria by freshest4live: 8:48pm On Aug 06, 2017
You guys are on with this comparison game again. For your information, SA has a very different history from Naija, we are not similar in many ways, have different structures in economics, religious, ethnic or cultural diversity.
You would acheive nothing with this thread because it serves no purpose.

Kazim88:
The south west politicians are not serious about restructuring....
Nobody is serious about it... No one is willing to die or kill for it... it's just lip service....

Even those using breakup to threaten the North for restructuring are not serious.

If the North rejects restructuring today and says Yoruba should vote to stay or leave... you would be shocked that 80% would stay...

Biafrans are willing to die, even kill for their biafra.... Who is willing to die for restructuring

The North are willing to kill for the status quo... willing to kill to retain the presidency... who is fighting for restructuring...
You assume too much about the North, though some of your assumptions are valid.

-Do what societies we copied Democracy from do. Take Money away from Politics. If you want Money/Wealth, stick to the Private sector, but if you want Power/Authority then head to Politics. Do you know top-end Surgeons in the US earn more than the US President? The person that run Transport for London(TfL) earn more than the British PM?.., [imagine whoever run Lagos Transport earning more than Nigerian President]...just a few example.
-But I don't think it will ever happen in Nigeria, hence why I support the restoration of Biafra, cos it offers an opportunity to renegotiate our political status, structure and constitution.
I concur.

Efewestern:
so what's your suggestion?
My suggestion is that we also need a new constitution or at least an amended constitution that clearly defines how an election should be held.
PoliticsRe: It's Very Wrong To Force Or Blackmail The North Into Accepting Restructuring by freshest4live: 7:10pm On Aug 06, 2017
Efewestern:
I don't think so, Kanu is still putting pressure on FG, people are getting tired of this current structure, sooner or later we will discuss a permanent way forward and that will lead to restructuring or everybody goes their way.

to an average urhobo man, secession is the last thing on our mind now, but if they insist on the status quo, we have no option than to align with any group, provided our interest will be protected.
Actually the Senate have made it clear, they would have to discuss about it more and then revisit it by September.
PoliticsRe: It's Very Wrong To Force Or Blackmail The North Into Accepting Restructuring by freshest4live: 6:24pm On Aug 06, 2017
Efewestern:
the issue here is that so many bigot online, it's almost difficult to reason with people here, the country won't move forward if we continue like this.

The north needs to know that restructuring won't harm them, a program can be initiated by the federal government to help states that can't cope, the north has a lot of mineral resources, Is it food? we need to point out these fact to them so they know they are not disadvantaged in a well restructured Nigeria. I also suggest death penalty to any corrupt government official.
Death penalty is not the issue. The Electoral process that allows you spend billions just to become a Governor is useless and must be reformed. If l spend 3 billion naira just to win a LGA election, because it was an investment, l would definitely do my best to recover all while in power and even make gains, hence you have no right to send EFCC after me.

Porous security?
"THEY" chose Anambra state for a reason.
"THEY" chose to attack a "CHURCH" on Sunday for a reason.
The smart ones will understand what I am saying.

3 plots come to mind in this situation:
1, Fulani herdsmen attacking their host community, who are predominantly Christians, knowing the best way to get them would be in church.
2,"Some people" in an attempt to blackmail IPOB and cause a divide among Igbos, did this due to the "zionist" ideology of Nnamdi Kanu?
3, IPOB attacked church goers for reasons unknown, apart from the fact that their leader is pushing a zionist agenda, coupled with the fact that they were accused of harassing the Governor just a week ago, an accusation which they deny, totally makes it unlikely that they are involved here.

Either way, this just shows how security in the state in totally lacking cept for the illegal military check points all over the East.
Suggestions and investigations so far has nothing to do with either lpob or Fulani.
PoliticsRe: Parents Donate Their Daughters To Boko Haram For Suicide Bombing - Nigerian Army by freshest4live: 12:59pm On Aug 06, 2017
The question now is......where are the parents of the girls? The girls should know where their parents may be, the parents would know a thing or two about BokoHaram. Cos Ayam not understanding.

Its not a layman's question. And I have asked that question times without number.
I wonder myself, they recently told us girls released to BokoHaram by parents admitted their parents sold them to BokoHaram, have they traced the parents? The parents would definitely know a thing or two about their hideouts. Even those that have been captured, of course some classified info can be gotten from them on some of the insurgents.

I concur, the politics section here seems to be all about tribal politics.

they are kids to you but the spirit in those kids is tens of thousands of years old. we humans are not our flesh, our flesh is a vehicle. we are spirit beings. so what you see as a kid may be a very wicked man in past life who killed many people. and his judgement was saved for this lifetime. the ways of YAH are too great for many to understand. even that new born baby born today is a very wicked soul. you dont know if that was hitler in past life. point being life is wayyyyyyyy deeper than you think it is and the age of the physical body is just an illusion that the carnal hinge their opinion on. me ? i dont look at the age of the physical body. its just flesh. a vehicle.
It's still irrational because at the end we all die and forget everything and no one lives forever, or at least no one has been living forever. So tell me, why do we die? Is death also a punishment for the sins of our past lives? Do you remember your past life?

ultimately GOD brought them all to this place to receive this judgement. how long we being breaking bread now bro ? you should know how all these things work by now. in life its CRIME AND PUNISHMENT. NO COINCIDENCES. nobody killed there was killed coincidentally. nobody killed was innocent, nobody there just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. the spirit brought them all their to receive this judgement wink
So are you saying the kids were also criminals? What have you been smoking?

But why now? Didn't you see the report that the attack was as a result of some business gone bad in South Africa. The northerners don't have any hand in this. Please be very careful in your attempt to further heat up the polity. Igbos would be further hurt if tensions escalate in Nigeria. Be properly guided.
I just tire for some people.

Tell me its not true shocked cry
I don't think it can be up to 150. Even BokoHaram don't easily pull such numbers at once.
