bidexiii: TROOPS AMBUSH AND NEUTRALIZE BOKO HARAM LOGISTICS TEAM RECOVER IED
Troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE deployed at Forward Operation Base Mainok, at the early hours of Sunday 5th August 2017 laid ambush for suspected Boko Haram terrorists along a track route leading to Alagarno forest.
They were ferrying logistics items to their colleagues. The ambush team neutralized 2 Boko Haram terrorists and recovered their weapons, 2 motorcycles, Jerry cans and grounded guinea corn.
Similarly, troops of 151 Battalion, 21 Brigade Nigerian Army, on routine clearing of bushes to aid unhindered movement of troops discovered multiple Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), connected together laid on the shoulder of the road at a suspected terrorist ambush site along road Banki Junction-Bama. The troops successfully disconnected and recovered them.
Thank you for your kind cooperation.
Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman Director Army Public Relations I have a question though( probably a layman's question).... Rather than just ambush them, why not track them to know their final destination first? |

Unless you plan to go back in history and stop yoruba from doing the Ghana must go, Ghanaians will forever hate una.
Your entire nation is despicable and hated for a reason. Nigeria is a joke and there is nothing, I repeat NOTHING you can do to stop the terrible image as long as your nation leaders continues to create poverty this forcing ppl to seek criminal ways to survive You cannot stop criminals who believe in crime, you can only do your part by seeking a revolution in her politics, doing what you can to eliminate poverty in all spheres, and packaging of the good like the OP insinuated. |

smartnero24: What chemical reaction kinetics are you talking about in drying? Drying is a physical process which does not involve reaction, basically what is removed is water. I'd appreciate if you enlighten me more on your perspective. I don't think l said anything about drying. Knowledge of reaction kinetics and the rate constant can be useful for food storage and processing. Drying is majorly considered in storage before packaging. I was talking about food processing and storage in general, and l used kinetics as an illustration in terms of useful knowledge in processing and storage. Here the rate constant is important in processing. Drying then takes place( a physical process) to remove water or even inhibit microbial activities as the case may be. |

DocHMD: The ball is in the court of you 'one naijeriyyanists'. We want a peaceful referendum so we can peaceful go and determine our political future and destiny but you come to me ranting about how you'd kill me if I decide to leave the useless zoogerian contraption? Who is the animal here? You expect me to fold my hands like a sissy? Nope I am Igbo and I am not wired like that.
This is what will happen as worst case scenario..
The abooki zoogerians will attack our people in the north .
We will see pictures and dead bodies and then give them a taste of their medicine in Aba, Onitsha, Umuahia, Nnewi, Igweocha, Asaba.
IPOB membership will skyrocket and then the buffoons in Abuja will become helpless as the country will be too hot to govern.
When they start their peacetalks, it will be useless if they don't include referendum on their agenda. zoogerian unity MUST BE NEGOTIABLE. Zoogerians don't people serious until they become radicals and even violent. My statement was not just to you but anyone clamouring for war on both sides. If only the war can be limited to just ipobs and Arewas. |

Alcatraz001: So you really think majority of Nigerians like the igbos? Common! Don't lie to yourself and the generality of forumites we have online real time. Igbos deliberately boxed themselves into a corner over the years with hate speeches because they lost an unnecessary war which has nothing to do with this generation. I didn't grow up hating the igbos myself but it grew on me gradually till it fully crystallized in the Jonathan administration when Igbo's bared their fangs for the yoruba tribe(my tribe).
It is nothing personal, just a reciprocal gesture. You are right about that but it doesn't support your conclusion that majority therefore hate Igbo's, this is definitely not true. In my city, warri, around my neighborhood and church you find Igbo's, yorubas, urhobos, Edo's, ltsekiri's, lsokos, ljaws, living and working together. I only see the hate on this forum, maybe my experience is different from what is found elsewhere. Our close neighbors till date are Igbo's, even outside Nigeria my girlfriend is Igbo(My family is Edo/Urhobo/ltsekiri mix). |

milantustorin: So why haven't they arrested people clamouring for Oduduwa under Yolicom? So why haven't they arrested people clamouring for Oduduwa under Yolicom? Probably due to the absence of Buhari, or maybe they learnt from their mistake OR maybe they believe the Yoruba's in general have no time for secessionist movements. Let me say something here though, some lpob members in their criticism of Buhari always point out that secessionists were killed under Buhari's regime, one would think Buhari started this, but l served in Anambra in 2014, Jonathan was equally tough against secessionist movements, they( MASSOB) had their camps in places like Okpoko ogbaru, sometimes they came out to disrupt the lNEC process, and as a matter of fact, soilders dealt with them thoroughly, but why was the alarm then so low compared to the Buhari regime? |

maskid: the power supply u have been enjoying since u were born are generated from other states most of which belons to the state plants. but because of the law on ground, they are mandated to send it to the national grid when its above a certain capacity. so dnt start kidding urself here. the moment lagos is granted this thing several states will pull out and most parts of the country will be thrown into darkness. thats why Abuja may not allow it. although its a welcome development Federal Government should encourage other states to build their plants too. It's better than this idea of national grid except we have enough. |

milantustorin: Was kanu popular when he was first arrested? Did he pull a crowd then? Kanu wasn't popular because not many knew about him or his radio Biafra, they hardly made the news, but his sentiments are nothing new to many igbos. In mid 2015, when l was in Portharcourt, his radio Biafra station was popular amongst taxi drivers, and most Igbo people who heard him then shared his sentiments, what he needed was media coverage and popularity(Yolicom has all that already). Buhari gave Kanu the platform to express himself to all Nigerians. Yolicom already have that platform. |

Lol, just imagine a complete devolution of power to kogi state under these conditions, there would be no federal Government to their rescue. This is why devolution of power must not totally strip the federal Government of all powers, and must also provide a law of accountability that gives power to the people to call their Governors to order. |
NYSC › Re: Nigerians React To The Removal Of NYSC From The Constitution by freshest4live: 10:45am On Aug 05, 2017 |
NYSC should not be scrapped but reformed, rather than deploy corpers to schools for teaching, corpers should rather indicate their line of businesses or whatever tallies with their course of study. N-power for instance should not be for graduates, the NYSC should easily take care of graduates such that one who goes through the scheme can never remain jobless, even if unemployed in professional jobs, he via NYSC platform and Government stipends should be taught to create his own line of business. We should focus on making Entrepreneurs from the NYSC scheme because our tertiary institutions have been set up to train employees rather than employers of labor. |
