Scoffs- Honestly karma is truly a bitchy bitch. Aunty Karma is playing ludo game on Pdp. The party had once used the same judicial wing to supress the rise of other political parties in our country before. When they were in power, they had every opportunity to correct this judiacial anomaly and to equate every injustice rather, they chose to use it as a political weapons to clip the wings of other party. Obasanjo understood what I'm saying very well because he is architect of this set up and he enjoyed it very well, He was the one that assembled Efcc as his political bull dog to bully his political opponent either in party or individuals, now the chain of the same bull dog has been given to Apc.
Please tell Pdp should sit back-grab popcorn and enjoy cus this is an Indian movie produced by Pdp and it is their turn to watch it.

I thought the electoral act stipulate that a candidate must win an Election with simple majority never thought of it that politicians can also get into position of authority using judicial system to subvert the choice of the people.

If that's the case, politicians after intra party activities should angle for loopholes of their opponents and drag them through Judicial process instead of using the electoral system to disturb the people with elections which the outcome is likely not going to represent the wishes of the people.

It seems this government change mantra is a vendetta change instead of reforms.

Yes, I am imperfect. I can't remember saying the males around me are perfect either, I learnt to focus on their perfection. This topic isn't all encompassing, it's centred on a particular ideology some people (mostly males) believe in. "It's only on NL I see them in QUANTUM" _ meaning, they are everywhere...but somehow, majority are here. grin

It won't be far fetched to call them aliens. When a being behaves/reasons in a way that's strange to normal human beings_ it's safe to call that person an alien.
Please, be reminded that there are males I respect on this forum, they don't fall into this category.

What's deceive? Is it nuclear physics for a man to help his wife with chores where you come from?
'but if I told them my husband bludgeons me everyday, it won't be deceiving ba?

Amen. God that brought us all this far, would most definitely see us through.
There is no provision for divorce in my marriage, just love and more love. smiley
No hard feelings dears.

There's few or no section of Nairaland "gender supremacy" is fiercely contested expect on family section or "maybe" romance section.

Let suppose these 2 are where grown men and mature women desirous of family life congregate to share views on marital relationship in order to make the society a better place.

In view of my explanation it's assume you based your statistics on the male population of the highlighted sections of Nairaland. In your reaction you pinpoint that these male nairaland members (Quantum) represents what you aren't familiar with probably in overview of life. You went on to "Canonized" all male members of your family including your extended members. That's where my problems lies.

My argument is that some of these male nairaland members having different views of your opinion might have Wives here praising their husbands too. Telling us your male acquaintances is better than the guys here is unbelievable.

Men of this generation cooks. I mean the educated ones. No biggie.

You accept to be imperfect. Fortunately for you every male around you is near perfect. From your husband to your brothers, male friends, husband male relatives but only on nairaland that you'd seen weird males with distorted view of life.

My question to you is "who actually are those suppose males on nairaland" ? Aliens, No?

Please stop deceiving young ladies here with fallacy of emotion.

Is there anything to contribute to her quest?

The opening sentence is a give away of a deep underlying problems between them "hubby has been acting funny of late".. Meaning, he wasn't like that prior to acting funny of late.

I do not encourage divorce as the first point of call in a marital crisis. Yes, she could be distraught at her finding but it doesn't give her the right to bring the case to a court of public opinion without letting the accused know his offence. In law, her case would be thrown out for not following due process. I could wager my pension that she can't win this case if she goes straight to divorce proceedings. The presiding judge will ask efforts they have made at resolution before arriving at divorce.

She needs to discuss with her husband. Her subsequent post shows that the husband is not totally irresponsible except for this new found hobby in drilling different artesian wells..

What else is new? You can now go live happily ever after with your husband and leave me to my frustration/singleness.
Next time choose your fight.

You want to devour me because I sounded logical rather than being sentimental.

Let her approach the court.

The marriage must be 2 years before she approaches the court.

The learn jurist will give her another two years to work on the marriage.

Then another 6 months to sort the marriage before divorce can be entertained because

1. No witness.
2. No concrete evidence.

Unless the husband Plead guilty and enter plea bargain.

I don't need to consider who's behind the moniker because these things happen everyday, if you don't know that, I do.

You know for some weird reason,I actually thought for a second, the other post or yours was some kind of joke and now I wonder why.

So seeing series of flirtatious sms where conversations of how much was given to the other ladies and refusing to sleep with his wife, is not enough proof? Are you really being serious? How many people who knew their partners were /is cheating, caught them in the act? I am sorry but I find this line of thought seriously insane.

You can't tell someone what to do in a situation like this, divorce might be the best option for her as decided by her, you don't know the deal between her and her man.
You are insanely clever by half. It's people like you that get married in the worst condition but will pretend on nairaland that your hubby is the best since Christ yet will advise other women to divorce on the silliest excuse.

Not making light of the situation, the choice is her to make. Either to investigate or divorce what's my own. Being gender protective is not desirable in this sensitive issue.

Making unsubstantiated claims is rather just irrational. She should have conclusive evidence before approaching hubby.

Nursing Murderous tendencies and divorce in a short time over unconfirmed allegations can be summed to be a predetermined decision to bail out of her matrimonial responsibilities.

Divorce should be the very last option she could nurse in a matrimonial conflict resolution except she want to prove a point to nairaland ladies that she walks the talk. Have you even consider if it's a male behind the moniker trying to stir and Guage the waters on females perspectives?

As someone who was born and brought up in the Niger Delta, I am inclined to ask Igbos on nairaland this question. This is because anytime the issues of Biafra are mentioned by Igbos on nairaland, they tend to include the south south. It is clear to a rational mind that Igbos will gain so much from the ss like land, oil, access to sea etc. But I have been trying to think about what the ss will benefit from the Igbos if seccession occurs.
NOTHING.

Rather you will have lot to benefit.

1. 80 % of the oil revenue gotten from the south South is shared by the northerners and the West. With Biafra, South South will have so much money even the graduates will not need to work.

2. Have you noticed that the oil wealth is controlled by the northerners? With Biafran, South South will control their oil blocks.

3. Biafra will run a subsidized email economy your children will not need to pay tuition fees until the graduate, work and then repay for their education.

4. Have you noticed our people go to law school to become lawyers while the northerners did same to become justices? That's why they churn out judgments that stupidify court processes.

5. The igbos borders the south South in all angles. Have you heard of any communal disturbances to indicate that the are hostile people? I suppose the south South marries a lot from the igbos and both zone shares religious and related cultural believes.

6. Capacity building and development will be encouraged and meritocracy will be encouraged for faster development rather than quota system.

7. Peace as there will be no religious killing, insurgency or cattle rustling. Any attack on Biafra will be treated diplomatically or warfare.

Following the judgment of the Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal that nullified the election of Governor Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), revelations have surfaced about a grand plot to build Nigeria’s biggest mosque in State’s capital city of Port Harcourt.

According to sources, the plan, which dates back to 2012, is to repossess a large portion of old Port Harcourt Township from the popular Aggrey Road, through Victoria to Bonny Streets and unto Creek Road and convert it to a new development to be called Great Dawatul City.

The developers of the project, which will have Nigeria’s largest Mosque, 6,000 units of 3 and 5 bedroom residential duplexes and world class business arcades as its star attractions intend to use it as a global model to showcase and redefine Islam as a progressive religion in cosmopolitan cities around the world.

NNPC Refinery inPort Harcourt
Funding for the project it was said, had been secured by a billionaire mogul and industrialist who himself had negotiated some years ago to purchase the entire shoreline from the Creek Road axis which he has earmarked for world class luxury apartments and Africa’s first 7 Star hotel.

Possession of the shoreline was hindered by the Goodluck Jonathan administration’s refusal to give its nod following agitations by local inhabitants of the area claiming forced eviction. The new plan, it is reliably gathered has got the nod of the Presidency and will have residents and property owners handsomely compensated in return for their lands.

A former governor of the State who is already in talks with the promoters of the Estate development assured them of cooperation on the condition that allegations of corruption against him are ignored and the current Governor Nyesom Wike is removed from office to facilitate the smooth implementation of the project.

The developers plan to market the project as an open society which would provide jobs for the teeming unemployed and change the skyline and landscape of the Garden City.

The area earmarked for the multi billion dollar project already has the highest concentration of Northerners in the city and is expected to see an increase especially of elite class after its completion in 2023.
