abbeyty: just because you did not see life or future in marijuana when you were somking it that does not mean other cant see future in it. a lot of people see brighter futures ahead of them just by smoking weed. like the says goes... one man poison is another man's meat. like the other lady said moderation is the key
(wraps his igbo and inivites candieangle to join him)
Like I mentioned, you still have the ball in your court no matter how much sweat I shed. I am happy though that some friends have been able to get out and are thankful also.

You and your friends have been nothing but drug addicts.
You abused its usage and must face its consequencies.

candieangel12: LMAO I am no longer gona go back and forth with you. Maybe u were one of those dummies that got addicted to it and now ur lookin for someone to attack 4 ur stupidity.
Sorry, you missed it by a gazillion meters! i never got addicted (said it over in my posts) and never took alcohol, yes, because I thought it was worse than any other. I came out early and easily (thank God for that). I am not posing to be better than you (have no reason for that), I am not against you as a person (have no reason for that neither). I am just against the idea of campaigning for legality of one bad just because another bad has been MISTAKENLY or MISCHIEVOUSLY legalized!

My 2 cents though (same thing I thought within myself then), consider if you would want your kids to use it early or be proud to tell their friends, "My momma smoke weed, she's cool!!! one day I want to smoke alotta weed too"!

charlesditro: na your kind of people worse pass thinking you know everything but you only impress yourself. How do you even write your exams. Did your father create weed or did GOD tell you to smoke it? Its because of dumb mamals like you who do things because people do them that is why it had to be banned. Who told you dey smoke it? You for smoke lipton na. Make sure u dont reply dis cos the level of ur ignorance left me dumb founded.
I wouldn't have replied if you didn't "instruct" me not to. That you can't discuss/argue/disagree like a sane/literate adult and pose as one is remarkable!
Where does it really hurt you? That I am trying to take you away from your own self destruction?!!! I am still in pain when I see friends "I introduced" to Marijuana 10years ago live like scvmbags! If I could turn the hand of time, I would not have invited them the days I did. I got out as soon as I realized there was no future in it!!! Hence my passion when I campaign against it. You are an adult (i want to assume) and still have your choice to make. only next time, try to be more mature in arguments!! Thank you.

candieangel12: Mind you, I am not addicted to weed. I smoke a blunt occasionally on the weekends and thats it. There is a difference between using occasionally n using everyday to the point where ur addicted.
There is nothing like taking weed occasionally, what you are saying is you are still GROWING!!! DON'T FORGET I WAS A MEMBER TOO!!! You are an ADDICT MY FRIEND!!! It's just a matter of time and some depressing situations and you will see how addicted you are!!!! Anyway, since its not bad, why are you afraid of being called an addict?!!
HealthRe: Seun Kuti Campaign To Legalise Marijuana by frevangel(m): 11:50am On Nov 10, 2012
candieangel12: Oh well I mean if weed shouldnt be legalized then y are cigarettes and alcohol? There just as much harm to the children. If weed is banned den dont u think the other stimulants shud also be banned since they wud all be "harmful" to the kids?
Why are you still using the trick, I thought I put the trick where it belongs already. Please read this again:

fr_evangel: And your point is?! LET ME GUESS: SINCE YOU ALLOW ONE BAD, YOU SHOULD ALLOW OTHER BAD, RIGHT? IF ALCOHOL IS WORSE THEN YOU SHOULD BE CAMPAIGNING FOR THE BAN OF ALCOHOL NOT FOR ANOTHER BAD TO BE LEGALIZED!!!
HealthRe: Seun Kuti Campaign To Legalise Marijuana by frevangel(m): 11:43am On Nov 10, 2012
candieangel12: Ohkay I get what ur sayin, everyone thinks differently. I still dont think weed is bad. It only gets bad when done in excess, just like every other thing. But lets just agree to disagree.
I dont expect you to think its bad as long as you still like it, anyway, its called addiction. Just remember that one day your children will hold wraps too, I pray it should be early, when they are still in primary school. So they can learn some good stuff early and follow in the steps of their loving mother!
HealthRe: Seun Kuti Campaign To Legalise Marijuana by frevangel(m): 11:34am On Nov 10, 2012
candieangel12: My point is to stop making weed out to be the bad guy. Cigarettes are more harmful than weed and so is alcohol but you clearly ignored that fact in your post. Weed is natural and the lesser of all these stimulants.
MY POINT IS: Ciggrett (I refuse to learn to spell it right), Alcohol, Marijuana or any of their cousins are bad. BAD is BAD!!(i don't know what to say again). What we should be campaigning for is the BAN of all members of their families(Drugs)! Mind you, I started smoking when i was in Junior Sec School and did both Ciggret and Igbo, but i knew something was wrong with the life. It had nothing to do with fear or a preacher's message, it was just good thinking and morality! I am not saying everyone must think like me but to campaign for Igbo to be legalized is to insist everyone THINK LIKE YOU!!! At least for now, no body is stopping you from taking it inside your house or a den(club if you may).

The fact that you say the cousins of Igbo are bad but with same lip saying Igbo should be legalized makes it sound like you want more ill in the society!

charlesditro: I wonder how the level of illitracy in nigeria has come to this point. People open thier pine hole and spite trash. Legalizing weed or not would not prevent the its circulation already in place which your so called government benefit from. You people are scared of running mad but are willing to develop cancer, wow you guyz are brilliant. Seun is not responsible for who ever smokes weed ( if its good for your brain smoke otherwise quite). His interest lies with the medical herbal value, even beneline with codiene they sell legally at phermacies are been abused today, bear and alcoholic drinks people consume are they safe. When yanki legallized gay marriage what did you hypocrite say. Now you want to talk cause thats all you are good at. GOD forgive you all.
Yeah right. Like we all saw how his father, Fela, used it for medicinal purposes! Get a life and please do it quick! I was once a user and a moderate one, never addicted, yet I kept asking myself for the benefits. There was never one. I stopped not for any preacher's message but because I could see the future was bleak! Oh, I forgot, he wants other people's children with sane minds to join him. True son of Fela! No surprises. Like father like like son!

Chris Oyakhilome really helped me in understanding faith in the word, relationship with the Holy Spirit, maintaining a good prayer life, and giving selflessly. W.F. Kumuyi teaching helped me establish a Holy and decent life introduced to me by my parents. However, my PARENTS, especially my MUM. They really trained me in the way I should go from d very get go. Plus that it was their prayers that brought me and my entire family to accept salvation. Till date they are still strong pillars. I don't think any Pastor could have taught me the way MY PARENTS did period.
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Sinful For A Christian To Listen To Secular Music??? by frevangel(m): 12:05pm On Oct 18, 2012
@OP, you didn't need to ask. Your heart already is giving you the red light! Anyway to answer the questions, any song that promotes promiscuity, worldly living, worship of money, man, satan, death, evil etc, is not good for a Christian.

Also, any 'GOSPEL SONG' that is not consistent with the teaching/doctrines of the Bible is not good as well.
BusinessRe: 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' Author Files For Bankruptcy by frevangel(m): 7:31am On Oct 12, 2012
I am seriously amazed when I see comments condemning Kiyosaki's books. Especially those who say his principles are not applicable in Nigeria.

I was still in university back in 2006 when i started reading his books(rich dad poor dad, retire young, retire rich, cash flow q, rich kid smart kid, guide to investing etc) and from the principles i got from particularly Rich dad, Cash flow and Retire young, i became an employer while still in school!

I literally didn't ask for pocket money again, i even sent money back home.
I graduated and went straight into business and in few months I was making about 200k/month from rendering services.

I took my business to a next level when i read Retire young for the 3rd time as I learnt to get funding from banks, in short, i learnt how to retire young by using the leverage of OPM(other people's money), OPT(other people's time) and OPM2(other people's mind). I didn't even go collect my result or think of going for NYSC until almost 2yrs(after several confrontations from my mum), even when I had a good result.

I am still doing very well today based on the principles I learnt from his books!

Ultimately, God gives grace but you need to learn some basic ways to leverage for wealth creation.

For those who are fronting for Brian Tracy, guess what? I have bought his books as well and just find them boring, but that doesn't mean his principles may not have helped some.

NOTE: the founder of CNN(Ted Tunner) actually went broke too before he came up with CNN and other business outfits.
Donald Trump once got bankrupt into the tune of negative Billion. But he is still a force in the Real estate industry in US today.

That you go bankrupt doesn't mean the certain principles don't work! It could be a result of some other lapse or certain other factors which can be sabotage as well.

Finally, the article DIDN'T SAY KIYOSAKI IS BANKRUPT, it says he FILED FOR BANKRUPCY which is a wealth protection strategy as well!

That she doesn't know how to cook is one thing and that she DOESN'T WANT TO COOK is another!
I have 2 in-laws who didn't even know how to boil water but they were willing to learn. They have both invited my mother to come teach them various delicacies that her sons would like. Guess what? They are both good cooks today. And for the records they are not housewives but as busy or even busier than their husbands!
If she is willing to learn then you can make it fun by planning special dinner when you go shopping in places like shoprite and then you return to your place and do the cooking together. Make cooking fun for her! Help her see it not as work because she may have grown up where she thought cooking to be hard work.
But if she refuses to learn then "hang your slippers for ur ear make u take off for your dear life."
When you are married its a different game altogether. What will happen when she starts to see washing your clothes, taking care of the kids, keeping the house and serving you food as difficult?! I am not saying she should be a house help but there are somethings women are supposed to be good at, they are used to keep the home. Plus the fact that they will raise your children the way they are!
Lastly, LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH OH!!!! ASK THOSE WHO ARE DIVORCED IF THEY LOVED EACH OTHER?

I would be surprised if ANOTHER Abu Qaqa does not surface. As I read through comments here I concluded that most making posts here are either too young or are not just as smart as they try to sound.
Boko Haram is a faceless group and may want to do damage control and also to make the military look incompetent as such someone in the ranks of leadership can assume office and claim the same name.
My take is that whoever assumes the name should be killed as well until they run out of Abu Qaqa!

From my experience in school few years back, most of the people killed in final year are members of rival cults or someone who has been a rival to a cultist, probably competing for a girlfriend.

From the story I hardly think it will be mistaken identity as he was a popular guy.

That is not true. You cannot be saying that as you are not necessarily smarter than others here. I have personally witnessed situations in a route I travel daily returning home. Also my colleague narated his experience. Some do have these signs but a lot dont have. Some others have been removed or damaged(off course may by 'ALL OF US'). Still the LATSMA folks will not direct you but wait for you to get into the trap.

Roads that lead to jail in Lagos
August 3, 2012 by John Awe
A recent report in The Guardian says the controversial new traffic bill prescribing three years jail term for one-way traffic violators in Lagos State will be signed into law today by Governor Babatunde Fashola. Trying to be my brother’s keeper, I would like to share with you some roads in Lagos that can take you directly to jail as from Friday.

Since a new Shopping Mall accommodating Shoprite was launched in Alausa, Ikeja, the road that passes directly behind it is now a one-way street. Policemen have been feeding fat on people who had used that road for ages and are unaware of this new development. When the bill becomes law, heading in the wrong direction on the road will send you to jail for three years.

To new motorists or those visiting Lagos, Somolu is filled with booby-traps that can send you to jail. One-way streets there are numerous. But the ones that quickly come to mind include Oyebajo Street. If you’re coming from Morocco Road, going to Ikorodu Road, Oyebajo Street is to the right. With no visible signs, this street is a one-way ticket to jail.

Again, when coming from Ikorodu Road, heading to Igbobi College, there is another one-way traffic street by Fadeyi Bus Stop via Kalejaiye Street. It is the right turning before the National Orthopaedic Hospital. Officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will usually not stay at the entry point to warn you, but in the middle to apprehend you. You will regain your freedom in three years!

Then, the popular bridge linking Dopemu to Egbeda is one-way traffic at a designated time of each day. From 5am to 11.59am, you can cross from Dopemu side to the Egbeda side and vice versa without any trouble. But by noon, if you cross from Egbeda side to Dopemu, LASTMA and the police will be waiting for you with a Black Maria. Kiss your freedom goodbye.

On the Yaba/Akoka section, there are a few booby-traps, apart from the clear one-way traffic roads with concrete medians. The one that leaps to mind now is the major road from University Junction that leads directly to the UNILAG Gate. This road is 95 per cent two-way traffic. But there is a 5 per cent one-way traffic, where you have to detour inside the community and burst out a little further down the road. There is an old, faded ‘No Entry’ sign, to warn motorists, but many first timers miss it. They are joking with three years jail term.

The service lane at Oshodi coming from Mile Two is presumably two-way traffic up to a little after NAFDAC. The road forks into two, the right links CAPPA/Mushin, while the left links Oshodi Oke. Motorists who want to drop passengers at Oshodi, but are too law-abiding to do it on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, usually enter the service lane, drop their passengers, drive past NAFDAC and at the fork, bear left to link Oshodi Oke, onward to Oworonsoki or Maryland, as the case maybe. But any day some LASTMA officials are broke, they usually stay on top of Oshodi Oke bridge and monitor those climbing the bridge at the fork. They then pounce on them, accusing them of one-way traffic violation. If you are unlucky to pass that route on one of such days, you will be writing a prison memoir soon, or you offer to pay for the school fees of the children of the ‘hardworking’ LASTMA officials who apprehend you. Which would it be?

Then, from the past few months, motorists coming from Toll Gate by 7Up, and attempting to link Oregun can no longer drive straight into Ikosi Road by Union Bank. Entry has been barred even though there is no single sign to that effect yet. In lieu of that, there are traffic cones placed there to guide motorists. In all fairness, there are sometimes some honest LASTMA guys at the intersection to guide confused motorists how they can access Ikosi via Unilever. But often times, on duty are the crooked ones who see an opportunity to make money. When a Lagos State Waste Management Authority truck or other government vehicles exempted from traffic laws blow these cones away, motorists coming afterwards inadvertently drive into Ikosi at the intersection and are slammed by LASTMA and gun-toting policemen. You are in serious trouble.

There are many more, I’m sure. If there are some roads you know that are not included, be your brothers’ keeper and share. Wish you a jail-free motoring.

kunlekunle: do you want to sit for WAEC on one way roads in lagos?
if the road is not signed who will arrest you?
if arrested he LASTMA would tell you your offence.
if there is no sign you have not committed a crime
pray you dont drive into one of such roads unaware, you would understand why this is necessary.

Car TalkList Of "One Way" Roads In Lagos by frevangel(op): 8:03am On Aug 15, 2012
In the wake of the new traffic laws in Lagos it has become imperative that we know various roads/streets that allow for one way traffic and the directions. I noticed many 'one way' roads/streets have no signs to help those not familiar with the area. LASTMA/Police officials have not helped in that they wait for you to go against traffic and then arrest you. Many have fallen victim already. A colleague narrated his near-ordeal how he almost fell victim before some 'okada' riders informed him, while the traffic officials were charging toward him. He escaped though but in a Formular 1 style.

This thread was created so we could post roads/streets that are 'One Way' and the direction of traffic.

So on point. The fact that he admitted people killed are innocent, he has unconciously accepted they, BH, are not innocent.

Also, his declaration is proof that they sustained a critical blow. He is retorting to propaganda, trying to make JTF look inefficient. Yes BH is playing the religious card but they sound more like Northern political leader's tool. He is sounding like CPC/ACN attack dogs.
