Meanwhile, what do you think is Kwankwaso prospect in 2019?
If Buhari is not contesting, Kwankwaso will beat Atiku no doubt.
Kwankwaso is love by the youth because youth come first in his government. Also his performance in Kano speak. Only that many southerners don't like him, they accuse him of tribalism, religious intolerance even when there is no proof. Their reason is simply because he bail northerners and that has not in anyway translate to their insinuations.
Superwhite9: I will start with a question, why are you people so weak, dumb, and turn blind eye(s) when your leaders embezzled your common wealth? Its really pathetic. On one of my trips to Africa I realised how rich this continent is in natural resources but are lacking way behind in regards to developments, advancement, and researches. you people just seems too cold and contented with it and the funniest of it all is that most of you sings their praises. Is it a cultural things or just norm? Just curious.
They clearly told you back to 1960 or 1963. Samething we are saying. During that time Kwara and kogi are under Sardauna. It is a welcome development, nice move indeed
ipobarecriminals: None of dem. They are useless set of people. Kwakwa will go about/around and release terrorists. Atiku go ruin the economy with his stealing expert and dat dwarf el refuse will kill xtain up North and nothing go hapun.Make 2019 reach first
I don't believe you, Kwankwaso is more competent than all of them. He work day and night. I am looking for someday who will change the face of Nigerian infrastructures.

murphyibiam15: let's make alignments and find ourselves into the center... remember buhari contested with an igbo as a VP for two times... if we igbos' gave them support by now he's always on medical leave we would have occupied that seat.. more so when he leaves office it would have been our turn
remember secession is not gonna be easy for us and ruling now will be difficult bc we are now seen as secessionists.. let's realign and work towards 2019
On Friday, Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, said President Muhammadu Buhari approved rail lines from Kano to Daura and Jibia local government areas of Katsina, his home state.
The revelation led to accusations and counter-accusation on and off social media. Many wondered why the president would take a rail line to his home town, which many considered of “little or no economic value”.
“The president has also approved another rail line from Kano to Daura to Jibia and we hope to connect Jigawa from there and to Niger Republic,” Amaechi had said.
TheCable took a closer look at Amaechi claims and found that the rail line to Katsina, is indeed nothing new, as it was inclusive in a plan approved by former president Goodluck Jonathan, which Buhari may be seeking to implement.
It is however unclear if Jonathan’s plans involved taking the trail through Buhari’s home town, but his plan included Katsina — according to the Federal Railways of Nigeria.
Jonathan promised to revive Nigeria’s rail line after he became president in 2010, and signed a historic deal with China Railway Construction Company (CRCC) for an overhaul of Nigeria’s rail sector. It was China’s biggest foreign infrastructure deal at the time.
The 3,218 kilometers railway track was aimed at linking the Lagos and Calabar, Port Harcourt to Katsina, via Kano, among others. While the high speed-rail was in the works, the very first part of Jonathan’s plan was completed in 2015, with the launch of Kano-Lagos rail.
“When I came into office as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 6th of May 2010, I met a moribund railway system and I vowed to myself that this vital infrastructure will be revived as it offered the most inexpensive mode of transportation for our people. Today, four years later, I am pleased to report to you that our railways are back on track,” Jonathan had written on Facebook.
“Our people can now take the Lagos-Kano service for only 1,930 naira and the Port Harcourt-Enugu service for only 300 naira. And we are not stopping here. This administration just completed the tracks for the Abuja-Kaduna Standard Gauge Railway.”
Jonathan also revealed that the plan was to link rail to “every commercial and administrative capital in Nigeria”.

At the time, KPMG, one of the leading consulting firms in the world, lauded Jonathan’s rail plans as world class, stating that “the project is designed to cover 54 stations and will take 25 years to build”.
Prior to Jonathan, former President Olusegun Obasanjo also signed an $8.3 billion deal with China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) for the 1,315 kilometres standard guage rail from Lagos to Kano with a loop from Minna to Abuja.
The plan involved a $2.5billion loan from the Chinese government. The Obasanjo-signed project was halted by the late Umar Musa Yar’Adua, who set up a committee to review the contracts.
Jonathan’s “more ambitious” plans were in the works for the most part of his administration, with the Abuja-Kaduna rail hitting its conclusive stages when he handed over to Buhari.
According to Jonathan’s strategy highlighted above, the original plan was for the rail line to run from Katsina to Port Harcourt, but it is unclear if it was planned to pass through Daura.
With Amaechi’s statement, that the president had approved what seems to be an extension to Jigawa and Niger Republic, it is unclear if Buhari is re-approving Jonathan’s plan or is simply implementing the same — or absolutely setting up another rail moderniation plan for Nigeria.
IBRAHIM MAGU GIVES DETAILS OF MONIES RECOVERED BETWEEN JANUARY TO AUGUST
The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has described the war on corruption in Nigeria as almost lost, saying a lot needs to be done to revive it.
Speaking with journalists at a luncheon in Abuja on Wednesday, Mr. Magu said corruption was fighting back.
“The way we are going we have already failed. I am telling you we have almost failed. It is almost lost. The battle against corruption is not only evil, it is a poison,” the chairman said.
He however added that despite the challenges, a lot of successes had been recorded by the commission, between January and August 2017.
“Regardless of the challenges that we have faced and continue to face, I am happy to report that we are making progress,” he said.
“Many of you are aware of the achievements that we have recorded in the fight against corruption especially in the area of assets recovery. Two days ago, we got the court to forfeit to the Nigerian Government a sum of N7.6 billion which was hidden in a Nigerian bank by former petroleum resources minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
“Two weeks earlier, another court issued a temporary forfeiture order to seize properties worth Twenty One Million, Three Hundred and Ninety Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Twenty Four Thousand Dollars ($21,392,224) belonging to the same former minister. Those properties are awaiting final forfeiture.
[b] “Over a month ago, the Commission recovered over N329 billion from a group of oil marketers for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. ['b]These are major recoveries from a sector of the economy. But to give a holistic picture of the aggressive drive to recover stolen wealth, I have the pleasure to report that the Commission between January and August 30, 2017 recorded the following monetary recoveries:
“Four Hundred and Nine Billion, Two Hundred and Seventy Million, Seven Hundred and Six Thousand, Six Hundred and Eighty Six Naira, Seventy Five Kobo (N409, 270, 706,686.75);
Sixty Nine Million, Five Hundred and One Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty Six Dollars, Sixty Seven Cents ($69, 501,156.67);
Two Hundred and Thirty One Thousand, One Hundred and Eighteen Pounds, Sixty Nine Shillings (Pounds 231,118.69; Six Hundred and Ten Thousand, Eight Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Twenty Euros (Euro 610,816.20);
Four Hundred and Forty Three Thousand, Four Hundred Dirham (Dirham 443,400.00 and (Seventy Thousand, Five Hundred Saudi Riyal (SR70, 500.00).
Mr. Magu further said the recent reports about a lingering rift between himself and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, should rather be replaced with a concerted effort by the media and other parties to combat corruption.
“Ladies and gentlemen, it would be naïve for anyone to expect the fight against corruption to be smooth; you should expect resistance and opposition which are expressed in various guises.
“From what we read in the papers these days, it is either somebody is fighting Magu or Magu is fighting other people. I know that journalists want to sell their newspapers, but seriously speaking, instead of fighting ourselves, we should be united in fighting the common enemy, which is corruption.
“Personally, I am not after anybody and have no issues with anybody. Those who think they have issues with me will soon discover that I mean no harm. What drives me is the passion to do what is right by ensuring that we fight corruption to a standstill in this country.
“We do not pretend to have a monopoly of knowledge on how to win the war against corruption. The anti-corruption campaign requires a concerted effort. I enjoin members of the public, including the media, to be part of this effort by reporting cases of corruption to the EFCC. Petitions and complaints can be forwarded to the Commission by email
SenorFax: Let him rest, they won't listen. Soon they will say he's leaving the country for treatment. See how he dey squeeze eyes for carrying trophy yeye

Narldon: BUHARI'S HANDS ARE SHAKY.. THAT TROPHY SHOULD NOT FAL
Muslim (203) narrated from Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allaah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.”
Muslim (976) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I asked my Lord for permission to pray for forgiveness for my mother, but He did not give me permission. And I asked Him for permission to visit her grave, and He gave me permission.”
Ugosample: Buhari has a constituted responsibility to build the federal projects in the South East.
But many id you covertly support that Buhari do nothing in the SE.
And you people say we are all Nigerians
Tufiakwa
And Jonathan has not constituted responsibility to do that? For 6 years both Oil and Aviation is handle by you people. What did you do? You blind your eyes, refuse to complain and even reward Jonathan with 95% vote for not doing so.
Now it is all the fault of Buhari who has not even reach 3 years in office. God deliver us from this type of cancer called selfishness.
@Empiree to me the hadith is even clear. It only waive Jumuah but keep silent on Zuhr. Therefore Zuhr stands except if any other authentic hadith made it clear that both Jumuah and Zuhr are waive then no problem.
To a slave Jumuah can be waived if his master ask him no to but Zuhr stands.
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday boasted that nobody could re-arrest him. Mr. Kanu is currently enjoying bail after spending about 16 months in detention for alleged treason. The federal government on Friday announced its decision to ask the court to revoke Mr. Kanu’s bail for allegedly violating bail conditions including the directive not to address a crowd. Should the bail be revoked, the separatist leader could be re-arrested. An unrepentant Mr. Kanu, however, vowed to resist arrest saying anyone who tries to arrest him while he remains in the South-east would not leave the region “alive.” The Cable online newspaper quoted Mr. Kanu as speaking at the Boys Technical College in Aba, Abia State. “Some idiots who are not educated said that they’ll arrest me, and I ask them to come. I’m in Biafra land. If any of them leaves Biafra land alive know that this is not IPOB. Tell them that’s what I said. “Tell Buhari that I’m in Aba and any person who comes to arrest Nnamdi Kanu in Biafra land will die here. I’ll never go on exile I assure you,” the IPOB leader said. The Cable also quoted him as rejecting the calls for restructuring, saying only an independent Biafra would satisfy him and his supporters. “Some people talk about restructuring, are we doing restructuring of Nigeria now? Are we doing fiscal federalism? Are we doing devolution? What we want is Biafra! “Forget all the nonsense they write about us. We are not slowing down and no man born of a woman can stop us. “They thought we are joking and God gave us a simple message that no one can stop us. The movement to restore Biafra is unstoppable,” he said. Mr. Kanu, who had earlier called for a boycott of the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra restated his stance. That call has been condemned by Igbo leaders across political divide including the leading socio-political group, Ohaneze Ndigbo.
Most of your people don't see beyond tribalism; with most of them saying that they can never vote a Christian or a southern person Your people vote like zombies without a mind of their own. So what are you saying
Agreed some think like that but not the way you pple are.Yours is worst
Ugosample: Your views about Igbo is out of ignorance
So all those people who voted Buhari from Imo state are ghosts? Or those ones in Lagos?
I have relatives who are die hard Buhari people because they thought that he will come to fight corruption
So you are wrong, Igbos actually vote people from the north that they like, and so not show traits of extremism
Shattap. What is the percentage of those sensible Igbos that see beyond tribalism and religion? They are 0.99. Not up to 1%
The remaining don't know anything except Zoo will fall. Buhari is a bigot. Kwankwaso is extremists. North are this that bla bla. Yoruba are slaves, Afonja etc
That is watz inside the brain of the senseless ones and going by online statistics they are the majority.
