Article 480, Compensation for injury to the faceIs this a joke or something? Are you saying this is what Sharia enjoins. . I don't get your rationale of 1,2,3,4 camels. ![]() |
Vickade:Now I want to be open minded with you, which system do you think would bring sanity to an insane society like Lagos? Armed robbery, yahoo, prostitution, corruption, now homosexuality, I can continue with all these unresolved crimes committed daily. Which? Please with a proper objective analysis if you may? |
All these people who don't "see this as a huge worry". Have you ever been to Saudi Arabia? The non Muslims who live in an Islamic state and enjoy all their human rights which are enshrined in the Shariah care called Dhimmah or Dhimmis, the convenanted people (otherwise known as the People of convenant). The people of convenant living in an Islamic state are guaranteed the protection of life, property and honor exactly the way Muslims are guaranteed. The rights to a "convenant people" are of an irrevocable nature. It becomes every Muslim's religious duty to protect life, property and honor of a non-Muslim since it forms a part of faith (Iman). Non-Muslims called the People of convenant are under the pledge of Allah, the pledge of the messenger and the pledge of the Muslim community so that they can live under protection of Islam. The pledge of security and guarantee given to the non-Muslims is like the political nationality given in the modern times on the basis of which people acquire all their rights as the nationals of a certain country and become liable to responsibilities. Non Muslims under the Jurisdiction of a Muslim State can be classified into these categories: 1. The Dhimmis or People of Covenant- These are those who accept the hagemony of a Muslim State whose matters to be decided with terms of the appropriate treaty. Muslim State is duty bound to abide by all terms of such a treaty, therefore, if Muslims are able to introduce Sharia into the southeastern part of Nigeria and the land of the Igbos, non Muslims in these lands have an administrative and political freedom- this is a right guaranteed to them in return for their loyalty and the payment of a reasonable tax called Jizyah which will be utilized in the defence and administration of the State. 2. The Conquered people- These non-Muslims are those who fought Muslims until they were defeated (like davidlyan ) and they were overpowered. They automatically become the Dhimmah or responsibility of a Muslim State. They will pay a fixed amount of Jizayh tax and their lives, property, honor and places of worship will be protected in lieu thereof. However, idol place of worship and or forms of Satanic worships other than Judaism and Christianity would not be protected but destroyed.3. Those non-Muslims who cleared happen to be residing in the Muslim State as its citiznes 4. Mon-Muslims residing temporarily in a Muslim country, e.g. tourists 5. Resident aliens who have opted voluntarily to live in a Muslim State. It is essential to remove some misconceptions here in this forum about these distinctions in the Shariah between Muslims, Dhimmis (People of convenant) and non-Muslims. Some Scholars tend to give the misleading analogy of this distinction and compare it with the Roman concept of Jurisdiction in Jus Civile or the Roman Pax Romana. It must be remembered that non-Muslims are not outside the jurisdiction as is the case with Jus Civile. Likewise, Muslims are not supposed to consider themselves as the Lords of the population of the globe as they are not arbis Romanus but merely custodians of Allah's property and not absolute owner becasue everything existing in the heavens and the earth belong to Allah (according to God Himself). The non-Muslims therefore, are equal before the lawin every aspect. The distinction in terms of Muslims and non Mulsim merely remains of political adminstration and not human rights. However, the non-Muslims I mentioned called the "People of convenant" enjoy complete religious, administrative and political freedom- a right guaranteed to them for their loyalty and the payment of a reasonable tax called Jizyah which will be utilized in the defence and adminstration of the State. Note: Please don't think it's only non-Muslims who pay in an Islamic model state, Muslims pay Zakat instead of Jizyah- in which rich Muslims must pay to help the poor within the society. I hope this answers many who hate Sharia and explains why it is important for everyman seeking a society that deals justly to advocate this model rather than capitalism, socialism, communism , fascism and all sorts of . . . ism Femi Salawudeen |

We sent Noah unto his people (saying): Warn thy people ere the painful doom come unto them. (2) He said: O my people! Lo! I am a plain warner unto you (3) (Bidding you): Serve Allah and keep your duty unto Him and obey me, (4) That He may forgive you somewhat of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Lo! the term of Allah, when it cometh, cannot be delayed, if ye but knew. (5) He said: My Lord! Lo! I have called unto my people night and day (6) But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance; (7) And lo! whenever I call unto them that Thou mayest pardon them they thrust their fingers in their ears and cover themselves with their garments and persist (in their refusal) and magnify themselves in pride. [8] And lo! I have called unto them aloud, (9) And lo! I have made public proclamation unto them, and I have appealed to them in private. (10) And I have said: Seek pardon of your Lord Lo! He was ever Forgiving. (11) He will let loose the sky for you in plenteous rain, (12) And will help you with wealth and sons, and will assign unto you Gardens and will assign unto you rivers. (13) What aileth you that ye hope not toward Allah for dignity (14) When He created you by (divers) stages? (15) See ye not how Allah hath created seven heavens in harmony, (16) And hath made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp? (17) And Allah hath caused you to grow as a growth from the earth, (18) And afterward He maketh you return thereto, and He will bring you forth again, a (new) forthbringing. (19) And Allah hath made the earth a wide expanse for you (20) That ye may thread the valley ways thereof. (21) Noah said: My Lord! they have disobeyed me and followed one whose wealth and children increase him in naught save ruin; (22) And they have plotted a mighty plot, (23) And they have said: Forsake not your gods. Forsake not Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. (24) And they have led many astray, and Thou increasest the wrong-doers in naught save error. (25) Because of their sins they were drowned, then made to enter a Fire. And they found they had no helpers in place of Allah. (26) And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. (27) If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates. (28) My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin. |
davidylan:@davidlyan This is not the religious section but I want to make things clear. It is not a matter of being inconsiderate, what a group of people hold sacred is rather an indoctrination that is believed to put their affairs in order. Does the Sharia say we should kill Christians because of their belief? Absolutely not, since Nigeria has tried different models that were all unsuccessful, what is wrong in implementing one advocated by a Supreme Being whose Laws have no contradictions or problems if followed with sincerity? ![]() We have sharia law in Saudi Arabia . . . we know how corrupt they are. Lets not even mention northern nigerian cesspools of poverty and raping of the national treasury. These people you keep mentioning are either apostates or hypocrites hiding in Islam. |
osisi*:As a matter of fact, not everybody is expected to celebrate its advent. When we know fully well the level of corrupt and indecent practices among the majority. |
davidylan:Well, I see nothing wrong in having ideas to make it one. |

(1) A questioner questioned concerning the doom about to fall (2) Upon the disbelievers, which none can repel, (3) From Allah, Lord of the Ascending Stairways (4) (Whereby) the angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years. (5) But be patient (O Muhammad) with a patience fair to see. (6) Lo! they behold it afar off (7) While We behold it nigh: [8] The day when the sky will become as molten copper, (9) And the hills become as flakes of wool, (10) And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friend (11) Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children (12) And his spouse and his brother (13) And his kin that harbored him (14) And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him. (15) But Nay! for Lo! it is the fire of hell (16) Eager to roast; (17) It calleth him who turned and fled (from truth), (18) And hoarded (wealth) and withheld it. (19) Lo! man was created anxious, (20) Fretful when evil befalleth him (21) And, when good befalleth him, grudging; (22) Save worshippers (23) Who are constant at their worship (24) And in whose wealth there is a right acknowledged (25) For the beggar and the destitute; (26) And those who believe in the Day of Judgment, (27) And those who are fearful of their Lord's doom (28) Lo! the doom of their Lord is that before which none can feel secure (29) And those who preserve their chastity (30) Save with their wives and those whom their right hands possess, for thus they are not blameworthy; (31) But whoso seeketh more than that, those are they who are transgressors; (32) And those who keep their pledges and their covenant. (33) And those who stand by their testimony (34) And those who are attentive at their worship, (35) These will dwell in Gardens, honored. (36) What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, (37) On the right and on the left, in groups? (38) Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight? (39) Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. (40) But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising places and the setting places of the planets that We are Able (41) To replace them by (others) better than them. And We are not to be outrun. (42) So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised-- (43) The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, (44) With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. |
[flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/GRDy8AHR9Ms[/flash] (69)Chapter Name: Al-Haqqah or The Reality In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (1) The Reality! (2) What is the Reality? (3) Ah, what will convey unto thee what the reality is! (4) (The tribes of) Thamud and Aad disbelieved in the judgment to come. (5) As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the lightning. (6) And as for Aad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind, (7) Which He imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm trees. [8] Canst thou (O Muhammad) see any remnant of them? (9) And Pharaoh and those before him, and the communities that were destroyed, brought error, (10) And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, therefor did He grip them with a tightening grip. (11) Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship (12) That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember. (13) And when the trumpet shall sound one blast (14) And the earth with the mountains shall be lifted up and crushed with one crash, (15) Then, on that day will the Event befall. (16) And the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail. (17) And the angels will be on the sides thereof, and eight will uphold the Throne of their Lord that day, above them. (18) On that day ye will be exposed; not a secret of you will be hidden. (19) Then, as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he will say: Take, read my book! (20) Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning. (21) Then he will be in blissful state (22) In a high Garden (23) Whereof the clusters are in easy reach. (24) (And it will be said unto those therein): Eat and drink at ease for that which ye sent on before you in past days. (25) But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would that I had not been given my book (26) And knew not what my reckoning! (27) Oh, would that it had been death! (28) My wealth hath not availed me, (29) My power hath gone from me. (30) (It will be said): Take him and fetter him (31) And then expose him to hell fire (32) And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. (33) Lo! he used not to believe in Allah the Tremendous, (34) And urged not on the feeding of the wretched, (35) Therefor hath he no lover here this day, (36) Nor any food save filth (37) Which none but sinners eat. (38) But nay! I swear by all that ye see (39) And all that ye see not (40) That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. (41) It is not poet's speech--little is it that ye believe! (42) Nor diviner's speech--little is it that ye remember! (43) It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. (44) And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, (45) We assuredly had taken him by the right hand (46) And then severed his life artery, (47) And not one of you could have held Us off from him. (48) And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). (49) And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). (50) And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. (51) And lo! it is absolute truth. (52) So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. |

What Can We Nigerians Do To Make Nigeria Great ? 1. Shun corruption of all sorts. 2. Avoid tribal conflicts. 3. Promote quality goods not quantity goods. 4. Say no to a globalization that cripples local industries. 5. Encourage a fair completion and avoid monopoly. 6. Reject preferencial treatment but act justly. 7. Encourage scientific and technological research among citizens. 8. Say no to a centralized banking system. |
Why Is Africa Behind? Please Take Time To Think This ! There is quite alot to say about why Africa remains economically unstable, technologically backward, and war torned. ai). Western Influence- The west after the period of colonalism purposeful devised a scheme to prevent their assumed slaves from economic prosperity. They created the World bank, the international monetary fund (IMF), which is assumed by many naive or corrupt African leaders to save their economy because they were in need of money. These organisations that are systematically designed to crippled the economy of nations that took loans from them due to the "heart breaking interest rate" they incur, made many African nations indebted. These debt may have to be paid back therefore the gross domestic product (GDP) of such African countries are used to pay the debts. Now, when 80% for example of GDP of a country say Chad is used to pay in a monetary debt whose inflation is about 100% what happens? The value of the money within the country falls, leading to monetary devaluation. Monetary devaluation is one of the greatest killers to any system seeking an economic headway, the west can now buy more resources from you guys with a lower purchasing power. That is, for every say sugar you used to sell for $4 per bag, you sell it to them at $0.25cents. ii- United Nations- The United Nations is some how believed by third world countries that it is established to protect the interest of the third world. However, this is very untrue. In fact, the purpose of establishing this organisation is no more than to control a people (Africa) and impact the "thought forgotten colonalism" that prevents a certain faction from ever attaining equality with the west it. You may look at its effort of eradicate poverty and create peace in war torn zones. The main agenda is to create military bases in these regions where they of course initiated the war, in order to expand their absolute dominance and oppression in Africa. Another set up for example is the red cross, countries where organisation like the red cross exist have more AIDS victim than those without it. Do your research. b) Africans themselves i) Ethic and tribal conflicts- Instead of many Africans to unite and save their individual countries from indiscrimate problems that have in being in the third world, the often discriminate one another due to the ethnic or tribal affilation. This problem would never enable a suffering people to move ahead in any meaning development. The root of the problem could be traced to: 1)Having to look down on someone because he speaks a different language 2)Tribes having conflicts due to resources they possess that should be disturbed equally among themselves 3)Stereotype or hatred that is usually baseless. ii) Corruption- Many African leaders and followers are very corrupt, they loot the government treasury and seek only to enrich themselves without the consideration that the resource belongs to the whole lot. This is due but not limited to: 1)No fear of God- many Africans are dead spiritually however much they deny me. 2)Selfishness- The need to satisfy yourself without considering the others without. 3)Bribery and Greed iii) Over-Generalization of ideas without actions- African countries are indoctrinated with the belief that the western approach of civilization is the right way, therefore the educational, economic, or scientific approach should be in this line. However, the essence of why many Africans study is not to develop the well being of their nations but "just to earn a living". The sciencific and technological backwardness in these African countries is saddening. Students are not thought how to create new ideas or invent but rather use what is invented without the knowlegde of how to manufacture such equipment. Problem with over generalization 1)Teachers and students may not develop facilites that could better the intrasturctural development to their representative nations 2) While it is good to learn from the west, Africa that is blessed with resourecs fails to use these resources to create equipment but depend on western paymasters to develop for them their wholed raw materials to be sold at prices that may be unaffordable. 3) Lack of need to become a superpower 4) Absolute dependence on nations with a technological or economic know how. Solution to Africa's Problem 1. Adoption of a government that would be independent of western influence particularly against any form of imperalism. 2. Technological transfer. Willing Africans should be sent aboard to gain knowledge in mass from fields including but not limited: a)Military science and aeronautics- to defend their countries against foreign attacks b)Construction Engineering- to build state of the art intrastructure c)Sciences/ Computing 3. Revolutionary trend- To remove any leader found engaged in corrupt practices and enforce a regime that doesn't necessary encourage western democracy or captialism. Also to change the minds of people that money doesn't mean much if people prefered gaining credibilty in the sight of God and the people. This campagne would prevent the worship of money instead of God. 4. Objective leaders and followers who need to effect a change. |
Oh my God! I thought it was Oyo State house of assembly, house of rep?Dapo, I must say you need a geometric promotion to do this. ![]() |
I just came about this forum through a well wisher, never knew it existed. The main objective of this whole development is to make educated and most importantly youths come into politics because the present crop of leaders have failed the country and before it gets too late we all need to rise up and save our dear land.It isnt a do or die affair but it is just a sensitization thing so that we can get the change we require in our dear land most importantly Oyo State. Also i am a man of my own never hid under any father and would never do as some people have started to term it nepotism.I am into politics because i want a change and most importantly a better Nigeria. We need to all come together and stop the phobia we have for politics in Nigeria,or else scavengers would always take advantage to continue to keep themselves in power. We can only try our best but i believe in togetherness. Our dear nation needs us all now.God bless us all. With all due respect Mr.Dapo, I don't want to have a biased mind but many Nigerian politicians only promise to make a change and later join the crew of the corrupt. That really destroys the essence of any political agenda. Standing out as one who wont do this usually connotes to having enemies from all sides and angles. The most important thing you should look into if you're honest is: 1. Ensuring that the state looks closely into the budget and exercise disciplinary actions against those like the then(2011) governor who may misappropriate public state funds. 2. The local government chairmen and counsellors must not be given monthly wages beyond N50,000(as I think now N150,000) when there a number of uneducated and poor people who donot have the benefit of the government appointed houses and vehicles these have. 3. Effect a change cautioning environmental pollution and inapproriate disposal of waste by local industries. 4. Enforce a law that prevents the privatization of State related industry to corporations or multinationals 5. Encourage technological transfer programs within the state by sending well meaning Oyo State idealist to foreign countries to gain from their knowledge of science to develop the State. 6. Disregard any legislative bill that defies Allah's law. e.g. homosexuality in Nigeria, night clubs and casinos. 7. Reprobate private or state owned banks that generates money through interest, that's the major cause of why economies in many parts of the world would fail. 8. Enforce into law that poor and helpless men/women within the province should be given a monthly fee of N1000 from the state treasury. You're aspiring to become a member of the house of rep, this are the things you should take a proirity if you ever get there. That would change the impression many have about you and your reported life at U.I and would create a better Oyo State |
KarmaMod:The thing is simple, in the Koran Allah the Almighty said Christian women and Jewish are lawful to muslim men. Please don't bring an analogy that contradicts the Koranic teaching. Muslim parents were warned never to allow their Muslim daughters to marry a Non muslim. We know what usually happens, the woman gets converted to be Christian or any other faith. But a man is less likely to change his faith except of course he loves his Christian wife more than Allah Himself. Note: That one of the conditions that warrants a Muslim man marrying a Christian or Jew is that there are probably no Muslim women in the land. For a Muslim man it is prohibited to marry an idolater, an hindu, buddist and all other religions besides the three I mentioned earlier. So don't keep asking what you now know from Olabowale. |
olabowale: olabowale:OMG!!! I just saw this after posting. Uncle mi, am very sorry but I have one Yemeni girl am deeply in love with. I don't want to promise what am unsure of, I hope you understand. @ Mariaba Marriage is not as complicated as many kafrs pose it, but please get a good muslim man ok? |
Mariaba:You seem confused because I asked for your hand in marriage when I haven't even seen you. . Anyway, I was just joking, but just as babs said, don't loose your virginity because of a guy who you think loves but yet enjoin upon you evil. For that is not love my sister. Am a guy as well, and the moment a guy starts to ask you for sex while you're unmarried, what he has for you is lust not love. The only way to trap such a guy is to tell him to marry next month then you would give him all he wants afterwards. Believe me, an unsincere guy will run. ![]() So that's the deal. Finally, don't think many so called muslims and nigerians really understand the gravest of the sin in having sex before marriage, they don't. If you're a seeking a high status with Allah, doing that nullifies it and brings you to the level of the lowest of the low. I ask you to read the Koran to strengthen your faith sister. Salam. Frizy ![]() |
@Sister will you marry me? ![]() I wont ask you for sex while we're unmarried. In fact, I would teach you Islam in a stylic fundamental way but yet kind and affectionate. |

(4) And lo! thou art of a tremendous nature. (5) And thou wilt see and they will see (6) Which of you is the demented. (7) Lo! thy Lord is best aware of him who strayeth from his way, and He is best aware of those who walk aright. [8] Therefor obey not thou the rejecters (9) Who would have had thee compromise, that they may compromise. (10) Neither obey thou each feeble oath monger, (11) Detractor, spreader abroad of slanders, (12) Hinderer of the good, transgressor, malefactor (13) Greedy therewithal, intrusive. (14) It is because he is possessed of wealth and children (15) That, when Our revelations are recited unto him, he saith: Mere fables of the men of old. (16) We shall brand him on the nose. (17) Lo! we have tried them as We tried the owners of the garden when they vowed they would pluck its fruit next morning. (18) And made no exception (for the will of Allah); (19) Then a visitation came upon it while they slept (20) And in the morning it was as if plucked. (21) And they cried out one unto another in the morning, (22) Saying: Run unto your field if ye would pluck (the fruit). (23) So they went off, saying one unto another in low tones: (24) No needy man shall enter it today against you. (25) They went betimes, strong in (this) purpose. (26) But when they saw it, they said: Lo! we are in error! (27) Nay, but we are desolate! (28) The best among them said: Said I not unto you: Why glorify ye not (Allah)? (29) They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers. (30) Then some of them drew near unto others, self reproaching. (31) They said: Alas for us! In truth we were outrageous. (32) It may be that our Lord will give us better than this in place thereof. Lo! we beseech our Lord. (33) Such was the punishment. And verily the punishment of the Hereafter is greater if they did but know. (34) Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. (35) Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? (36) What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! (37) Or have ye a Scripture wherein ye learn (38) That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? (39) Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? (40) Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! (41) Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful (42) On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able, (43) With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt. (44) Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. (45) Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. (46) Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? (47) Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? (48) But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. (49) Had it not been that favor from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. (50) But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. (51) And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they bear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; (52) When it is naught else than a Reminder to creation. |
[flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/iEOWHk97X6A[/flash] (67)Chapter Name: Al- Mulk or The Dominion In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (1) Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and He is Able to do all things. (2) Who hath created life and death that He may try you, which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, Forgiving, (3) Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One's creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts? (4) Then look again and yet again, thy sight will return unto thee weakened and made dim. (5) And verily We have beatified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame. (6) And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end! (7) When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up, [8] As it would burst with rage. Whenever a (fresh) host flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner? (9) They say: Yea, verily, a warner came unto us; but we denied and said: Allah hath naught revealed; ye are in naught but a great error. (10) And they say: Had we been wont to listen or have sense, we had not been among the dwellers in the flames. (11) So they acknowledge their sins; but far removed (from mercy) are the dwellers in the flames. (12) Lo! those who fear their Lord in secret, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward. (13) And keep your opinion secret or proclaim it, lo! He is Knower of all that is in the breasts (of men). (14) Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware. (15) He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead). (16) Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? (17) Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane? But ye shall know the manner of My warning. (18) And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)! (19) Have they not seen the birds above them spreading out their wings and closing them? Naught upholdeth them save the Beneficent. Lo! He is Seer of all things. (20) Or who is he that will be an army unto you to help you instead of the Beneficent? The disbelievers are in naught but illusion. (21) Or who is he that will provide for you if He should withhold His providence? Nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness. (22) Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a beaten road? (23) Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is Who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! (24) Say, He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered. (25) And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? (26) Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner; (27) But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call. (28) Say (O Muhammad): Have ye thought: Whether Allah causeth me (Muhammad) and those with me to perish or hath mercy on us, still, who will protect the disbelievers from a painful doom? (29) Say: He is the Beneficent. In Him we believe and in Him we put our trust. And ye will soon know who it is that is in error manifest. (30) Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water? |
Brothers and sisters in Islam, Salam Ailkum. It is my utmost pleasure to bring to you Juz' Tabarak translated to English. The essence of such an effort is to bring to the listeners mind the meaning of the words of the Quran. Therefore, the continous listening would make one understand when an Imam recites such chapters in the mosque since most Nigerian Mosque don't exceed this limit (I mean Juz' Tabarak and Amma). Another important reason is to increase our faith in Islam and avoid ourselves from fleeing from truth. Allah's word are true but many men deny. Juz Tabarak starts with Surat Al-Mulk (Chapter 67) to Surat Al-Mursalaat (Chapter 77). To listen to the continuation of this series please check:https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-144474.0.html. Now listen to the Qu'ran with English translation. Reciter: Al-Sudais and Al-Shuraim (Imans of the two Holy Mosque) Translator: Mr. Muhammed M. Picktall Speaker: Aslam Azhar. |
Those are not Muslims, there are hypocrites. And Allah said: "Allah hath prepared to gather the hypocrites and the Kafrs in hell" "They will not get forth . . ." |

wirinet:That is the ideal thing for the right thinking man, he knows that without God, his afterlife is eternal condemnation. So comparing a man who lives his life independent of God and still achieved much in life is not an argument. God said in the Koran: "We give the unbelievers plenteous rain (or prosperity) that they may increase in sin. It is a comfort for a while, at the end, then will they be confined to the most grievous doom." God also said: "Do not the fooled by the prosperity of the disbelievers (O Muhammed). It is the wish of Allah that they have no share of the good in the hereafter. In contrast, compare the first world. They do very little daily praying. In fact i had never seen the usual lets close our eyes and pray to Jesus or mohammed before the start or close of any social event in america or europe. In fact during the Last US elections i did not hear a single prayer. Even when Obama won, He did not start a long prayer session and attribute his victory to God, he attributed it to the american people. Back here, the winner would call long prayer session after rigging his way to power by killing, and stealing and then attribute his victory to God, supported by the holiest pastor and imam in the land. There is hypocrisy in the hearts of many people. It is a thing we all have to fight. My friend, I tell you that if we're honest with God there will be changes in our lives. However, when you achieve something dubiously and attribute it to God you mock God purposely. For God said in the Koran: "And when they go apart with their devils (those who the engage in corruption with) they say:'We are with you, verily we did but mock (for they know in earnest that they cheated)'. God said: Allah Himself doth mock them, leaving them to wonder blindly on in their contumacy. God will never support anything done corruptly. It is very important that you remember God first before doing anything. If you're arrogant then will God show you His wrath. Obama congratulated the people not God, very bad for him. Why do you think hurricane and all those disasters befall godless nations like America? He Pharaoh of Egypt called himself God and thought he was able to do without any God, but God seized. Pastors and Imams that go about supporting corrupt rulers are accountable for there actions, for God said in the Koran: "Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowing conceal the truth". So what have we gained as a people with all these prayers? All the indices for development are about the poorest in the world, our people live in abject poverty, while the chinese wo do not pray wants to go to the moon. The feed and cloth us now anyway.Another theory. Remember the Chinese where visited with the wrath of Allah, at the middle of this year. Why was it not because of the gods they took instead of Allah? . It is just a matter of time, I tell you that if some people pray to God to quicken the destruction of these nations you mention, they will be totally extinct. ![]() |
I think this should be a joke ![]() |
