If you have a copy of the Qur'an you can read such stories of the so called childhood miracles of Jesus that can seen in Surah 19:29-33 and 5:110 where you have baby Jesus talking.  This legend or myth was first spread by the gnostics in the 2nd century A.D.  The occultic Egyptians had similar accounts.  These gnostics wrote apocryphal gospels to contradict the synoptic gospels but using false characters as the names of the disciples of Christ.  The Qur'anic fable above was copied from the apocryphal gospel of Thomas which was a myth or folklore tales, but see how they found there way into the Qur'an which has been claimed to be received from heaven.  Such tales could have been borrowed from one of the "prophet's" wives who was said to be a "Christian".

The verse in question states:

Ever noticed why I stopped disputing with these folks on N/L?

1. There lots of issues I need to study and improve in my faith than waste my time with people that don't reckon

2. Because I try to study the Koran as much as I can, I observe Allah Saying repeatably that He does not guide wrong doers, and in their ears is a deafness. Why then should I bother to convince someone that is destined to remain lost.

3. I also notice that many Muslims including myself are terribly sleeping in faith, because it's productive to awaken ourselves, since we wont object and think on the consequences of what makes us lag behind, I have concluded that the best thing is to help Muslims that recognize Allah as their God to avoid hypocracy and foster our bond with Allah and ourselves than wasting time disputing with the Kafrs.

4. Another reason I stopped this davidlyan whoever dispute, is that Allah Himself does not like Muslims disputing (with evidence) with non-believers, since I registered on NL, I must say reading Kafric post about Allah and His Messenger, are blasphemes I never have thought in my life, and this disturbs me, I found out the only way to avoid evil is to keep away.

5. Lastly, I don't think it's Allah's intention to guide these people, just leave them alone their laugh would indeed stupefy them soon, no doubt.

i just got converted to ISLAM this month of  APRIL 2009 and am really enjoying the faith, am feeling truth in ISLAM, i was a christian, even a good one for that matter, but having read the bible so well and so many contradictions in it and can't fathom why a book that is said to be inspired by God could contain so much confusion, and the ones that struck me most was the peter of cyerene  that helped him to carry his cross and they dnt mention it that he was giving back to jesus in some gospel books, could it be is the PETER that was cruxified or could it be the JUDAS ISCARIOT that was cruxified and JESUS anscended to heaven with the four Angels i.e Rafeal,Micheal,Uriel,Gabriel according to Gospel Of Barnabas?that was not included because of it facts about it,apart from it, the death of  JUDAS is not clear because one account contradicts another, saying he just pour the 30pieces of gold on the temple floor and hung himself also another account says he used the money to purchase a land and hung himself after,which one do we believe,its so confusing and i believe GOD is not a GOD of confusion,all these made me think JESUS didn't die on the cross.

The last straw that broke the camels back is the issue of the HOLYSPIRIT which has been manifesting right from creation,and even JESUS gave the desciples the holyspirit and told them he will send another PARACLATE for them to teach them ALLTHINGS, but will not send HIM to them until hes gone to GOD to beg him to give them, and i think since hes breathe on them to receive the HOLYSPIRIT while not yet gone to the FATHER that means HES  the one that manifested in ANGEL GABRIEL'S form to Muhammad. All i can say is that the QURAN teaches ALLTHINGS even to the fact that how the embryo is formed  to the last day it will be born is there, TIME formation is there and all others, its a complete science for way of life,how the earth is justified in both QURAN and sciences saying is round or spherical and the bible says its flat imagine!

The amazing thing there is that i always tell my fiance to receive christ as lord and personal saviour that hes GOD in flesh but will humbly tell me that, though as a muslim he acknowledge him and believe hes coming back but hes been annointed by GOD to deliver his message to mankind and hes not GOD,and truly if JESUS is GOD why would he cry to GOD my GOD my GOD why hath thou forsaken me thats if truly he was cruxified, my own thinking is that it could be either JUDAS or the PETER that carried hiis cross was cruxified instead, till this APRIL 2009 my guy never forced me to become a muslim but always tell me that i will know the truth one day,and about my GUY as a muslim is so devoted to GOD,hes caring, loving,understanding, faithful,sexy, brilliant,handsome and tall this not really necessary though but got to add it join, respectful,truthful, clean, he doesn't have to break the commandment to drink alcohol maybe when hes friends are drinking, he does not smoke, for a guy to be like this and u think hes not worshipping a true GOD? You can't just eliminate a part of the sentence. What that means is what I already told davidlyan, the fact that Allah commands Muslims not to do something as in this case eating pork, automatically nullifies Muslims to encourage non-Muslims e.g. Christians to do the same. In fact doing this is a sin against the Muslim.

Well, you need to understand the perspective am coming from. Yes pigs are "anti-islamic animals" as you rightly said, however, it's not only pigs Allah ordered us Muslims to avoid eating. The prophet told us not to eat reptiles, e.g. snakes that use their body to craw on the ground. He ordered us not to eat wild beasts like lions and tigers. These are prohibitions except Muslims need to feed themselves to avoid death due to starvation-- this is called "an extreme case".

To go to my point, pigs may be prohibited for Muslims to eat, but there is no place in the Quran that orders Muslims to kill pigs or any other animal because they're enemies to Allah. Allah created them, and the prophet during his life-time gave animals their rights. For example, the Meccans used to overload camels and sometimes use them for extreme purposes, prophet Muhammed prohibited these actions and said if the people overload their camels, they would face retribution.

One of the reasons why Allah destroyed a city (I forgot the name) of old was because they used their animals as fighting tools, using one animal to fight another, for competition or past-time. In Islam the way you treat creatures of Allah should be of rationality and care. Pigs would not be breed in an ideal Islamic State, but killing them without a proper guide is "termed Extremism". I must say, that this invokes the "Wrath of Allah".

Well david, it is to your best interest. Do you think that if you come to Egypt, and ask me where they sell beer or alcohol, I would tell you? It is a sin for Muslims to encourage people to do things Allah told them (Muslims) not to do.

The Egyptian government has announced to kill all the pigs in the country due to the swine flu epidemic. However, the swine flu is not yet detected in the country.This may be because the ruling class are Muslims, and may have been looking for ways to avoid people feeding on pork. While this may sound like a good move among Muslims that swine meat would at last be eliminated completely from the society, am opposed to this mascarce. You may be noticed on this forum that I support views that are sometimes viewed by moderate Muslims as extreme, I do not and would not support views of eliminating animals that are haram for Muslims. Please don't take this that I desire Christians in Egypt or wherever to feed on pork-- far from that. But this animals have a right to life! When they have no diseases.

If a Muslim country wants to eliminate pigs, they should isolate them away from the confines of it's territory.
