that's a lie. osinbajo is not smart. a smart person knows he had no chance in apc. osinbajo was only looking for his pocket. Wilson2013: Your entry into the race really gave hope to millions of youths who have long been thirsty of a new breed of leaders in government. It's unfortunate we don't value honour, integrity and competence. Nigeria has missed a golden opportunity. Osinbajo comes once in a generation |
Politics › Re: Osinbajo: We Lost The New Nigeria Battle, Not The War by frog12: 8:39pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
so he was killed because he sacked thousands of civil servants. hulahula. this your analysis dey amaze us ooo abbey621: Gowon was ousted because after Gowon got his revenge on the Igbos, he had no real plan for the country(Same way Buhari did in 2015), Murtala ousted Gowon due to this, Murtala tried to implement a series of executive orders aimed at revamping the public sector especially civil servants who were ineffective/ghost workers. People that were supposed to be working for the Nigerian public were often lazy, ineffective, nonchalant, he dismissed over 10,000 of them. If that man had time, he would have revamped Nigeria completely, oh by the way he was only in his thirties. |
Politics › Re: Osinbajo: We Lost The New Nigeria Battle, Not The War by frog12: 8:03pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
please tell us why and how General Murtala was killed for wanted change. and what change was that? abbey621: So you agree that technorats are not suitable for the Nigerian political system because even if you had a supportive president, you must still navigate the cabals, the Senate & House members, religious and tribal factions. This is why I laugh at those suypporting Osibanjo and Obi, this present Nigeria requires a mean ass businessman, a shrewd negotiator and someone not afraid to make enemies.
Think about it, if you're old enough to remember, a certain general named Murtala was killed because he decided to do things with immediate effect, he saw the direction the country was heading and wanted change immediately. Another example, the mean old Obasanjo who made it his mission to attract investors to Nigeria's communication sector when most of our politicians wanted Nitel. Even Tinubu is an example, we all know how he showed Obasanjo that Lagos is self sufficient and how he saw the opportunity and importance of developing Lekki.
My point is simple, technorats without action are as useless as the P in psychology. Nigeria needs a visionary that is not a nice guy, an action man that will say f*ck this, this country will be great I don't care if I have to break some heads |

yes, he has to leave the party. parties like apc and pdp are status-quo parties. OfoIgbo: Osibanjo should join Peter Obi, and provide advice and experience
There is nothing for him in APC. They will pull him back. He has to be with his soul mates, who also want to bring the needed change in Nigeria. |

you must blame the people that did not follow the process when they employed those teachers. nigeria does this a lot. bribes. Greatzeus: 1000? That's a lot. 1000 husbands and wives,1000 breadwinners, with average of 4 kids, that's 4000 kids in Anambra alone whose parents just lost their jobs Ok he's doing it to get competent hands? What competent hands? Those who will replace them will still be same Nigerian graduates and might have less experience and even be less effective. Always pray that the government that will come to power at your state of residence or federal level will be the one that will favour you. Stop following bandwagons to support or crucify a party just because your people love or hate the party. These sacked teachers might have celebrated when soludo won,not knowing his win Wiii bring poverty to their families. |

Just a waste on resources. Instead all the trade fair should have as a structure as one organization and a joint board instead of for example Lagos have a different set of board compared to another location maybe in the east. |

is a one-man party not an independent candidate? OderaOdesigo: Keep fooling yourself, you social media party leaders. Number 1, there is no independent candidacy in our Laws hence you should STOP LYING to people.
Number 2, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been variously reported to have given money to delegates, so this foolish attempt to paint him as holy is dead on arrival.
