they are saying the man is nepotic. you know, the main problem is we've sold afdb to the foreigners otherwise they'll have no voice. i didnt realise the situation was like this. we sell, sell, sell. Obamaofusa: Those allegations are very flimsy.I am sure that America has its candidate but was disappointed that Adeshina had it so easy going for second term.
Adeshina will overcome. |

booksize allegation. everything is image. the moment everyone/leaders on the continent read it, adesina go resign himself. the french and americans know what dey are doing,. dey waited for the right time like hunters Exc2000: a good product markets its self.. he doesn't even require a solicitor,.. let them prove there allegations if any.. facts and not heresay wishy washy, he already got cleared by the first panelist, the second would be piece of pie

you can serve as his solicitor and defend him in the boardroom. Exc2000: he was the first man to eliminate fraud in the delivery of fertilizers.. a scam orchestrated and benefited by politicians and civil servants for years.. it was through him that farmers got their fertilizers directly from the government without middle men, and folowup system where developed using SMS
during Adesina's tenure as the Agro Minister, planting went on during the dry season due to his provision for irrigation farming, dredging and canal water ways... I as aperson remembered fully buying fresh maize in the dry season and commending him |

so you steal from wiki instead of giving me hard evidence!!!! i dey wait, show me his achievement as agric minister. how many relatives you know benefit?? lhurd: WIKIPEDIA Adesina was the Nigerian Agriculture Minister from 2010 to 2015.[7] Adesina was named Forbes African Man of the Year for his reform of Nigerian ag:riculture. He introduced more transparency into the fertiliser supply chain. He also said that he would give away mobile phones to farmers but this proved too difficult. One of the reasons was the lack of a mobile network in country areas.[8] |

then he should not step down. can he or can he not your argument go lose power now. Exc2000: Carefully note the words, phrases or clauses I highlighted in bold format
"The following cases are listed in no particular order, and state how we think the Code of Conduct might have been breached. In some of these cases, the conflicts of interest may be hard to prove , but we wish to recall that the Code of Conduct calls for the avoidance not only of actual conflicts of interest, but also of the appearance of such a conflict.
The Trump government alluded to the fact that (a) the conflicts of interest may be hard to prove .... (b) but we wish to recall that the Code of Conduct calls [b] for the avoidance not only of actual conflicts of interest, but also of the appearance of such a conflict. Just like the case of W.H.O and the harrasement of the Boss cos he is from Ethopia and he accepts donation from Ethopia, disregarding useless noisy racist America and their media propaganda.. Adesina is being harassed with allegation they claim are hard to prove in fact non existing.. just 5 months to his re-election
Trump already lost Africa to china and they (Racist Americans) are just fighting a lost battle

this is the main problem. why we allow foreign shareholders. america is second shareholder after nigeria, so they have voice to ask him to step down. FieldMarshall06: The foreigners are shareholders. They are part owners of the bank. So they are within their right to demand accountability.
He should step aside for an independent probe. If clean, he would return. But he should only step aside after he gets the second term.
Am disappointed in him. Where do the allegations come from? |
Politics › Re: The 16 Allegations Raised Against Adesina, AfDB President The US Wants Revisited by frog12: 5:48pm On May 27, 2020 |
nonsense. when dey want you out of office. dey go throw book size allegation against you. you think he can clear himself of all these 20 allegations ?? Exc2000: as long as AFDB would nominate the independence auditors and panelist, or the Stakeholders country I see him winning all this lightweight unprovabe allegation or he would simply head to court.. the plan raising this allegation is only to ruffle him up for his re election..
Imagine allegation such as clearing someone alleged of sexual harassment... not that he sexually harassed anyone , but he authourized the resumption of a staff who was alleged of sexual harassment during a time he was off duty and not active on duty for weeks... what exactly would this offense result into ?
or the Allegation that his childhood friend (relying on old picture) unduely benefited from a contract... Now the panelist would have an heculian task to prove his so called childhood friend wasn't qualified for such contracts, or else both adesina and the friend has the right to put up some litigation
another one that caught my eye is the allegation bothering on grants giving to IITA and another Nigerian based multinational agricultural institute, for a fact that Nigeria is over 200m, and sub Saharan Africa is 1billion people, Nigeria ordinarily stands at 1 : 5 to Africa, Africa's GDP stands at $2.5trillion while Nigeria's GDp alone accounts for $450bn USD that's 1:6 of Africa GDP as a Banker which country would you ordinarily consider for loans? even Chinese EXIM bank and IMF considers Nigeria greatly over other African countries... and the onus is on them to prove Adesina of having giving unmerited grant to IITA a multinational company |

what achievements as agric minister show us the farming revolution. i really dont like the foreign intervention in afdb, but we've sold it. lhurd: You go mind them. Are the allegations true, I can't say, if true, a warning is fair enough. |

dont worry someone is waiting to takeover. hhahaha seunmsg: The US is not the biggest shareholder in AfDB but the biggest non-African shareholder. Nigeria is the largest shareholder of the bank. https://www.afdb.org/en/news-and-events/nigeria-consolidates-position-as-african-development-banks-largest-shareholder-17755
The US is muzzling Adesina and there is really little or nothing that African leaders can do about it. Nordic nations that pledged to provide more funding for the bank are now in bed with US. Adesina may not survive this attack if the US continue this pressure. He will be sacrificed by African leaders.
Hopefully, the independent investigation will truly be independent. That way, Adesina has nothing to fear. |

hk only closed its borders. southkorea society is like chinese. they respect. if you call them chicken seller, yet they have modern cities like shanghai, and which one can you compare with in nigeria? you insult them but cannot compare your country to theirs. people steal billions in nigeria and get away. do that in china, and na gullotin be that. Alex9999: I agree that it's versatile (for virus only) -- but we rarely have these viruses. Also remember the South Korean & HK system handled it as well, and those are free systems. The system also lies a lot. Remember, they were muzzling doctors trying to alert the world. Is that the system we want? I say we already have that.
I don't understand the "sellers" part, but I was alluding to Chinese leaving their country to go do low-skill work elsewhere. Westerners don't do that. |
Politics › Re: Akinwumi Adesina: U.S. Treasury Urges Independent Investigation Into AfDB Head by frog12: 9:56pm On May 25, 2020 |
its not leadership. just versatile system. the chinese system allowed them to handle the virus better than the west. chicken sellers you say? and what do you have in nigeria ? gutter sellers? human sellers Alex9999: This is wishful thinking. You keep looking at it from the African POV (infrastructure this, biggest that). You forget it's the people that matter. Until westerners start relocating to China, then China will still remain behind. You're talking phone this, bank that. As they should; they have numbers on their side. You say Baidu: when was the last time you searched on Baidu. You're typing in English; have you started learning Mandarin? It's not biggest this; biggest that to lead. It's cultural; China does not have that. China is all Chinese; the West is everybody. No one group can win everybody; let that sink. If you're clever and from the biggest jungle in Africa, you can make it in the West. You cannot say the same for China. That, my brother, is leadership. The Chinese people do not live a better life than the West. By West, I include Europe and Australia. Even when push comes to shove, Russia is West. China's real competition is India. Watch manufacturing shift to India. To lead, you must create a good life for your people first, not creating drivers and chicken sellers on other continent. Let me know when you start using Baidu. |

"Regarding the TAAT initiative, a funding programme for Africa’s agricultural sector, Adesina discusses at length the payment, which the whistle-blowers consider to be suspicious, of a negotiated contract of over $5m inked with Syngenta, a Swiss seed company" : this is from theafricareport. I'm suspicious of adesina's work with these gmo foods. he used to work with rockerfeller university /board, and they promote gmo. why does he want to use us as guinea pigs ? frog12: Alex9999, you are good, so I will answer the question.
It's mindset. The average Chinese mindset thinks they are and always inferior to the West. because they are greedy objectives. |
