thanks alot for this info. If i transfer the 700K back to where it came from i will now have a closing balance of about 3.1M, please does this neutralize the mistake?

No, it will only cause further damages.

No documents to show that funds in your account B is from a legitimate source. E.G receipt, contract paper, invoices, company tax clearance, CAC.

Adhere to instruction and apply in six months time.

Morning house, I need help on this matter.

I got rejected on March 4th. I was actually going for a conference on church management which doesn't tally with my job description. I work as the General Manager in an Agro processing Company, Also, I have my own personal registered company but did not filled that in my DS form. My company is into Animal Husbandry, Livestock feed production.

I want to reapply now to go for a conference next month on Animal Agriculture. Wouldnt it raise a red flag if I filled in my job description that I am the Managing Director of .........company when I already filled in the last DS form that am the General Manager of ......... company??

It is not advisable to apply shortly after a refusal unless you are able to present significant new evidence or a change in status which addresses the previous grounds for a refusal. Your application was rejected in March and now you rushing back to tell another story at the embassy/consulate. My brother calm down. US can wait for a year or more if it's actually a genuine application. If you go back within the period of 6months to form general manager and ceo; that's a desperate move and the decision won't change.

Good day to the good people on this forum. Please i plan to go for a 3 weeks vacation during my leave period. the trip would be self sponsored. I'm gathering all supporting doc now but apart from my salary account, i have a separate savings account and i recently transferred 700K from it to my salary account which i would be presenting as my SOA. But reading through previous comments on the thread i noticed its a wrong move. please how can i explain this huge lodgment.

You have successfully compromised your salary account by transferring 700k which is not verifiable. The entry clearance officer will be quick to reject your application. This is a very common case. Large transactions on the bank accounts near visa application dates are always a red flag scenario and good grounds for refusal

It doesn't matter if the account belongs to you or not. The question is how did you make the money in your account B? From your other business I presume. But you have no paper/documents to show for this. I am afraid the eco is not interested unless you can substantiate with documents, receipts, business tax clearance certificate and what have you.

It is important to provide documentary evidence of inflows otherwise I'll advise you wait for another 6 months when the 700k won't reflect in your salary account statement printout.

My cousin was interviewed last week, he shared his transcript with me yesterday.
VO: What are your plans in the US?
Cousin: For professional development on contract management and negotiation.
VO: At where?
Cousin: xyz................in Minnesota
VO: Tell me more about it?
Cousin: It focuses on the ability to negotiate for contracts using managerial skills. This training will help me........VO cuts in:
VO: Who is Gabriel P at xyz?
Cousin: Never had contact with him, except for Michael B........ who is the information specialist.
VO: How did you find out about this training?
ME: It was recommended to participants during a government organised workshop on contract management in Abuja by Mr. xyz, head of physical planning federal university of xyz in Nigeria.
VO: And why are you going?
Cousin: To effectively manage legal risks in commercial contracts and to perfect my skills on how to structure arguments in favour of my company. This training also helps. VO cuts in again ok! Ok!!...........Typed for 2minutes. Sip coffee!
VO: Going to the US for a training is very expensive especially at this time.
Cousin: Luckily this training is affordable at this time, but the September session is very expensive and unaffordable.
VO: What do you do?
Cousin: I am a project manager and my company's area of speciality is procurement and installations of engineering equipment and agricultural hand tools for tertiary institutions!.
VO: You work with a school?
Cousin: No, I own my company for five years, it was established after I have worked for two years in a family owned engineering company as a PM.

VO: Where does your wife work?
Cousin: She was retrenched from the bank 11 months ago and now training in a fashion school.
VO: How much does she earn monthly?
Cousin: she doesn't work anymore. I worked out a percentage for her from my profit.
VO: How much is your monthly earnings and how much do you give her?
Cousin: 255k and I give her 50k or more (bros don confuse this time)
VO: You said you have two sons?
Cousin: Yes, peter&paul (pseudonym) he was surprised at this question again.
VO: you must be a proud dad at 33.
Cousin: smiles( e nor reach belle after two rejections 2013 & 2015)
VO: Typed for about 30 seconds. Flip through passport. Ok, thank you for applying, your visa is approved, wish you best of luck.
Cousin: you said ma'am (he though vo mentioned sorry)
VO: your visa is approved. Good luck.
Cousin: Hallelujah! Thank you ma'am, thank you ma'am.

Couldn't post immediately because nor be small celebration. The "visa party" even gave me a hangover. Woke up with a headache and had to take son to his exam centre for common entrance exam. US visa nor be beans. Who nor go nor know.

Another question
What about travel insurance
Can I use any of the insurance companies in the list given by other Schengen countries such as France suffice?

I couldn't find a link for a list of travel insurance companies on the German consulate website

I've always used IGI. You can buy your Travel Health Insurance online using your bank card.

Thanks for the reply. Well, I do receive approximately 112,232.53 as salary and allowances for the month. My uncle is sponsoring the trip because is a compelling family visit. He ought to have been there but will be busily engaging in politics at the said period. Does this genuine reason still raise a red flag for the ECO as the primary reason for the sponsorship though I will attach my financial status as well?

The question will be asked when filling the form. This is where you'll explain to the entry clearance officer the compelling reasons why your uncle wants you to visit the UK. If true, attach paper evidence to your application, but I'll advise you not to apply if you cannot prove this with paper evidence or if the reason doesn't make sense even to you. Entry clearance officers understands the desperation of most visa applicants, they can smell lies even before your application is opened.

LADY G,

good morning, i was in us embassy yesterday with my family, my first daughter and my wife have been to south Africa two years ago but i and my 7months old baby haven't travel out of the country.
between us and vo
vo- good morning
me and my wife- morning
vo- why are you going to us
both of us- i said we are visiting my wife uncle and my wife said we are visiting his uncle. we answered together
vo- busy checking our passport, later he faced the system typing for like 10mins, during that time i was looking at white paper taught he will give us, the white man brought out the blue paper, i was sucked. most painful thing is that this man asked us only one question. pls can u tell me what happen. just want to know cos am not ready to reapply for now. we have good job in this country. just want to now why the guy swallowed our visa fees. thanks

Visa applications are adjudicated based on individual's merits. The visa officer typed for 10 minutes without asking the next question. The decision to deny your visas was reached according to how your application form was filled, so the officer had to save time to attend to the next applicant. The decision has nothing to do with your travel history and the first question asked, but your employment, salary, family and social relationship have been carefully analyzed and the officer wasn’t satisfied you’ll return back to Nigeria. To qualify for a visitor visa you should be able to demonstrate sufficiently strong social, professional and economic ties that would compel return after a temporary stay. Some decisions are even reached before the interview commences. For example, identities are verified, biometric data are analyzed and security checks are conducted. Can you tell us about your employment, salary range and for how long you have been working?

Hi there, thanks for the good work. I am applying for a visit visa to the UK in May, 2016. I am working and would submit all documents in question including my financial status. My uncle will be the principal sponsor of my trip. He will as well provide me with all the relevant documentation of his for submission. The problem does lies in the host, our sister in the UK. She has stated in her invitation letter confirming my visit and the accommodation she had put in place for me. Does she needs to attach her financial records? She will be sponsoring only my accommodation and in this light, has attached her tenancy agreement. Does she still needs to send her bank statement though my uncle is catering for for my maintenance? Hope to hear from you soon.

If your sister is providing accommodation, she will need to send you her mortgage bill, utility bill, copy of her passport data page with clear evidence of her immigration status in the UK. Her bank statement is not really important since she's not proving feeding, flight and transportation within the UK, but she can still attach it. On your part, you provide your bank statement, and other documents to proof your strong ties to Nigeria, this may be letter from employer, marriage certificate etc.

Having said the above, there is a red flag in your application. Can you defend or give reasons in your application why your uncle wants to sponsor you to the UK for leisure purpose if you as a gainfully employed person can afford the trip without going beggared? This is where the ECO will reach a decision whether to approve or deny your application.

You're close to getting a life ban. A misrepresentation that does not tend to influence the visa officer's decision is not considered “material, but in your own case it is "material". you answered "yes" to an obviously "No" question to deceive the officer about your marriage ties when in reality you are not married. Just continue!!!!

You plan to go back in six months time. For what if I may ask? To back up your lies with more lies? Because I know the question will come up again. "Are you married?" and apparently you'll still answer "Yes" Stop wasting money in this harsh economy, save it for better things, reapply in three or five years time; fill your form and attend the oral interview truthfully.

Have you been denied a US visa before? The answer should be yes and give details about your lies and the agent. You might be lucky to meet a magnanimous visa officer.

In case the agent still wants you to take your lies to the UK embassy, tell him/her NO. The UK will verify your documents and the decision will be JUST 10 years ban.

What if I filled lag in my ds-160 but will like to interview in Abuja, is it possible? Or must you interview at d location on ds-160?

Normally you can explain the situation during the interview with the officer, but if you're uncomfortable, you can always fill another application. It shouldn't take more than 30minutes.

For your second question. Have not had that experience, but I am certain it's possible if you contact CGI technical team.

I can't tell you why you need to travel to the US, if you have any good reason (Intent) then apply otherwise stay back.
You don't have to go to the consulate/embassy with your properties C of O or any other building documents. The visa officer is not interested in seeing them. Consular officers base their decisions more on applicants' answers to their questions. The decision to issue or reject your application will be reached base on information you provided in your form and during the interview session.
