I was a victim of this type of accusation. I was at a gathering and as soon as the program ended we all scrambled to the exit door. As soon as I was out a young fellow ran towards me and was asking me why I assaulted his girlfriend. I was suprised at the accusation. The girl was so convinced I touched her.
I asked the bloke, does he want to fight me because a woman made an unsubstantiated accusation? The guy was hell bent on exchanging blows as the girl was in the background hauling insults at me. I was with my wife, and I was so much embarrassed with the situation that night to be frank.
This chap might be innocent. Sometimes a touch happens here and there, but most are not intentional.
