Musiliu Obanikoro's father is from Oyo State. It is his mother that
is from the aristocratic Obanikoro lineage of Lagos State.


Nobody from his mother's lineage bears the surname of Obanikoro!
Infact some members of Musiliu Obanikoro's mother's family placed
a paid advert in PM News in 2007 where they condemned Musiliu's
use of Obanikoro as his surname when he is NOT paternally from
Lagos but from Oyo State. I was stunned by that paid advert
in 2007. This is not to say that Musiliu is not from an aristocratic
lineage... but it is from his maternal side!


Musiliu Obanikoro just unilaterally decided to use the name
Obanikoro as his surname. Obanikoro is ONLY used as an
aristocratic title NOT as a surname.

INEC has removed Okorocha's name from the list of people that will collect certificate of return.

Reason:

INEC returning officer revealed that he declared Okorocha the winner of [b]IMO WEST SENATORIAL DISTRICT[/b]under duress.

Implication:

It means that the election that produced Okorocha is now null and void. INEC to conduct fresh election in the senatorial district.

Actually it is a good thing in the real sense of it... I think this inconclusive elections actually shows a good trend; that peoples votes is actually counting but not 100% effective yet.
How can you declare Tambuwal as winner with 4k votes when there was more than 75k votes cancelled?
How can you declare PDP in Bauchi winner when there is more than 60k votes on the line and the margin is 3k+?
Plateau state also was inconclusive but the APC man margin of victory is 40k+ the cancelled vote is also more than 40k I dont see PDP winning
Benue is also inconclusive but the margin of victory is Huge 80+ but the cancelled vote is more than 80k here and I dont see APC winning.

Look if this trend is not maintained, what will happen is, where I am winning I will maintain peace and where I am loosing I will disrupt the process and cause commotion so the votes will be cancelled and I will be declared winner. You must see the logic in declaring this as inconclusive as a positive to the system than negative.

I think he have won alright, but to obey the electoral act just like plateau state and the likes, it have to be inconclusive. Same happened in Imo 2015 so no shaking.

By some kind of miraculous coincidence, every state where the PDP is doing well in the north has either been declared inconclusive or collation suspended but every state where the APC is doing well, no problem. This is elections has taken us more than ten years back when we are supposed to be moving forward

2003, kwankwaso was voted out for not endorsing sharia law in Kano ~ Shekarau won and introduced Sharia.
He was reelected 2007 solely due to his education reform.
2011, Kwankwaso won BUT buhari won the state against GEJ.
2015, there was a change wave and kwankwaso jumped to APC and again Kano voted along that line.
Now 2019, the Gov is videotaped receiving bribe. They all voted for PMB, BUT refused to vote for Ganduje although the vote count is still ongoing.
It totally have nothing to do with any sleeping voters.
