Ok mama
As a breastfeeding mum u will need fruits, vegetables, salads without mayonnaise or salad cream. Avocado butter is better as cream. I'll send d timetable to you but u can't take hot things now, just fruit detox and if you notice baby is purging. Please stop till u wean. Just take a glass of warm water btwo5-6am daily instead.

Okay mama. Thanks so much. For the avocado butter, where can I get it?

I used petroleum jelly. Bend a finger and apply small Vaseline on it, then press onto the navel to rub rotating it to touch all parts. That’s what my mum did and it didn’t take time to heal. As for pains, I don’t think there’s any associated pain
Thanks mama. I appreciate.

PREGNANCY:

Firstly, I give glory to the Almighty God for counting me worthy to bring forth a life.

I got Preggy when Boo was planning to meet with my people. As a firstimer that I am, I went for scan and test to be sure it was a positive and that was when I found out I had multiple fibriods, the biggest being 6cm. The doctor that attended to me told me it's nothing to worry about, I just moved on with my life.

Few weeks after, I was having this mild cramps and went to the hospital to complain. The gynae I met with said I would have to undergo a cerclage procedure.

Well, my DH and I were skeptical about it and I don't really like the attitude of the Gynae so I changed to another hospital recommended by a colleague.

I met with the MD, who is also the chief gynae. He's an old man and to what I've heard about him, he also trained in the abroad.
He asked for scan and test and certify me okay to carry to terms that I need no cerclage whatsoever.

My baby was growing so were the fibriods and it was a smooth journey till delivery.

DELIVERY
On Friday which was my antenatal day, my Gynae booked me for induction for the coming weekend if I don't fall into labour naturally.

At 10pm, I started having mild cramps at intervals. It really got intense when I noticed a bloody mucus discharge. I couldn't sleep and had to come on here to ask if that means I was already in labour.

At few mins past 5am, we were already at the hospital, I didn't even wait I was just rushing upstairs to the labour ward and the nurse had to run after me.

DH gave them my card and the matron checked me and said I was just 4cm. Chaiiii... I was sad cuz I was expecting to be far gone past 4cm with all the pains.

The Matron assured me that I was doing well as a FTM. That's how the drama continue till 10am. I was checked again and was 7cm gone. Then the drip was passed and was having this strong contraction.

I was screaming I want to poo, the matron came and said oyah poo, poo refuse to come. I was in so much pains that I couldn't even talk, was just hitting the bed frame to get their attention.

Time to push again, I push with all my strength. Baby's head is down already but they said I wasn't pushing, I screamed and pushed again. Then I noticed the matron gave me some cut to allow baby pass. Then I felt so relieved and calm.

She came out screaming and started sucking her fingers. They gave her to me to pray for her. I did and they cleaned her up and took her to my DH who had been waiting outside for the good news.
I bless the name of God for taking me through this journey.

I pray for safe delivery for all waddling Mamas and to all GTC mums, your testimony is right here in Jesus Name.

PS:
Thanks to all Mamas that share tips on how to boost blood level. My PCV was 32% at 36weeks.
I got the garden egg leaf, blend and mix with malt.

I was checked after given birth and my PCV has increased to 37%. I couldn't believe it.
August Mamas, go in and bring forth in Jesus Name.

As long as Dr doesn't advise against it, you're fine.
Your babies are far from where the pen..is can reach or hurt them but that is not to say you should engage in all the snake in the monkey shadow style o, lol.
The body weakness you feel might be due to reluctance.

Let me just drop this here.
Not trying to make a general statement but I've seen a lot of marriages hit rocks during pregnancy and it could be due to many reasons.

1. The husband doesn't understand how not herself the woman feels.
Pregnancy hormones make you feel lethargic. Slows you down to reduce your activities all in a bid to keep your baby safe. But you as the woman, should strive to still maintain some part of yourself so that you won't lose yourself totally. Pregnancy wants you to sleep all day but as a person, you should be able to control it to an extent.
Same with temper. Ha! Pregnancy temper especially in 3rd trimester is maddddd ó! So please put it at a corner of your mind when you want to flare up that this isn't your true reaction. Calm down and don't let pregnancy mess with your head.

2. Sex
Pregnancy can dampen or increase your libido. Some have the best time of their sexx life in pregnancy, while some have zero interest in it.
This is where tolerance comes in. You cannot say just because you don't have interest, your spouse will also abstain for however long it lasts.
Some men will cope just fine but some will struggle.
Some will struggle but stay true to you by sorting themselves out while some will struggle but fall into temptation.
Some will fall into temptation and come back to you after baby is born while some will fall into temptation and never be the same man you married.
Before you come for my head, know this: Nigerian women will hardly divorce a man for cheating on them.YES! Instead, they will become bitter/submissive all in a bid to 'win' him back.

Some of you will think, oh, I'm having his first child, he dare not act anyhow. Trust me when I say, the novelty will wash off ó!!!!
Woman, be wise.
I'm not saying do it against your wish. I'm not saying do it even if the Dr says no.
I'm saying if you've got what he wants, give him if you can.

Look at it a being responsible for each other's sexual satisfaction. I'm responsible for his and he is responsible for mine. So no matter what the situation is, we both have to device means within these 40 weeks to make it work for us.

You can make him understand by taking him to the hospital with you so the Dr sees you both and advises you both (the day my husband went to ANC and saw women in worse condition ehn, he was sober for a long time), you can get him pregnancy books so that he can monitor the pregnancy with you, or download the app for him so he gets notifications just like you do. ( I once saw a man diligently reading on baby centre and smiling all through the bus ride). It makes him feel included and tempers him down.
Imagine getting a message that you'll most likely be feeling frustrated or pain in your pelvis....he will certainly be able to understand when you say you cannot lift your leg.

Try to show up when it comes to sex, please.
I won't lie, in pregnancy, I just do it for doing sake sometimes (please raise your hand if you've never done it for doing sake lipsrsealed).
Even if Dr says it's not safe, you can engage in other forms of sex. (oral, dry humping, hand job or the one that reigned one time here (using breast or even using intimacy gadgets)

Trust me when I say that I've seen too many marriages hit the rock (some survived) during pregnancy (which should be the happiest months cos of the baby!)

This is my opinion.
If you have a contrary one, make your post without quoting me biko.
kiss

Mummy Zaynie for life! You're so on point wink wink

It is well. Thanks for the encouragement. Couldn't sleep at night because I was fed up. I never imagined I will be in this boat, having encouraged many people in this situation before. I just want to have this baby and leave. I'm tired. My children see everything and they're tired too. Hearing 8 and 7 year old tell you Mummy don't cry, everything will be fine
It is really breaking but I will survive. 28 weeks gone and not even a dime to buy any baby item. Was on admission last week for typhoid which I had to beg my younger brother to pay my hospital bill for. Took drips and injections and still had to walk back home immediately after the drip finished just so that I can be with my kids. Funny enough while I was in the hospital taking drips, my children didn't eat throughout that day till I got home cry . Tired of begging my younger ones for help. Can't wait for this baby to come. Thank God for my in laws who encourage me but because he's the first child, there's little to what they can do to challenge him.
I just have to pour out my heart. I'm tired.
It's a phase mama. It will sure pass. God is your strength.

Limahgirl:

Late BS!

First of all I give God the glory for counting me worthy to be a mother after three years of TTC.

My pregnancy was a smooth one from the beginning to the end. Nothing strange happened to me except that I was always having malaria. I had ms all through ist trimester, second trimester was the best as my energy level was on the high side. Third trimester also came with its own package but in all, nothing unusual was recorded.

On the 19th of June which happened to be my EDD, my husband birthday and also my antenatal day, I woke up at 1.00am and saw mucus plug ( I had been praying to see it since I read it's not everybody that see mucus plug as sign of labour). I am a ftm and keep wondering how I will know if labour start if i don't see it. So when I saw my doctor, I told him about the sign and he sent me to the labour ward for examination. I had read about it here so I knew what it means. The matron after examining me sent me back to the doctor who told me labour has started but considering that I'm a ftm, it will take time. He asked if I will like to be admitted and be exercising or go home and come back when labour would have really set in. I told him I would like to go home and come back later.

When I got home and told my husband who has been praying baby comes on his birthday, he was so happy and praying his wishes come true.
I quickly rem what I've read here about ewedu which was explained by madam zaynie. I brought out the ewedu from my fridge and prepare it with the twigs and extracted the juice. I poured the juice inside plastic bottle and was drinking it at interval while also praying. I also got on to a treadle machine and was exercising. I would exercise for 10 minutes, drink the ewedu juice and resting. At about 3 pm, I started experiencing pain. From what I've learnt here, it timed it and saw that the pains were far apart. This continued till 8 pm. Then it was becoming regular and more painful. I kept on with my exercise and ewedu juice. I fell asleep around past 11pm and woke up to a painful contraction at 11.30 and this time were close to another. Woke hubby and was heading to the hospital, before we drove out of our estate, my water broke! God is so great! The water keep gushing out of me.

At the hospital, the nurse immediately checked and said I was 3cm gone and that my baby was so near my jajaina. She called the doctor who examined me and said my contractions were not strong enough. Then he inserted one drug inside me that till today I don't know. Whether that was induction o I still don't know. After 15 minute, I started feeling pain that was increasing as time passed by. Mehn! Labour pain no be moimoi o.I would squeeze my hands at every contraction, hit the wall as if it should break and also hitting the hospital bed. I quickly remember I need to be holding my breath and breathe through my mouth as I've read here. My dear mamas, e no work! The pain keep increasing. One of the nurses was coming whenever I scream that I should take it easy and reserve my strength till when I will need it. At 4:30 I felt a strong feeling as if a hard poo was coming and I couldn't control it. The nurse had already warned me not to push if I feel like pooing so I shouted 'I want to poo ooo' ' I can no longer control it'. It seems they already know the time the drug was going to last because before then if I shout I want to poo they would do as if they didn't hear me. This time they came and checked me and said madam this is the time, I can see your baby's head already. She prepared my legs and told me to push only when she instructed me. At this time, I couldn't control it, I just feel like pushing. Then she said madam you are going to give yourself tear and it's more painful to stitch than the pain you are going through now. I quickly remember I've read here that Episiotomy is very painful, then I tried to control it until she said I should push. My princess popped out at the second push screaming out her lungs. Placenta was delivered and I was stitched ( Chaii! The pain is still fresh in my memory). I did drama in that hospital when I was been stitched. I was even speaking in tongue at some point. I pray all mothers live long to reap the fruits of their labour....e no easy abeg. We were moved to the ward afterwards and I couldn't stop staring at my baby. She's the most beautiful being I've ever seen. She worth all the pain of labour and delivery.

To all GTC,as God changed my story so shall He do for you all soon.

To all July mamas, I pray for swift and smooth delivery for you all.

Sorry for the long post please.

Cc: 4realwoman and all June 2020 mamas.
What a nice BS! May God keep your Lo.
Amen to your prayer.
