Technology Market › Re: Is NIPOST Deliberately Withholding Phones Ordered From Aliexpress? by FryMosquito: 6:53am On Sep 21, 2020 |
Valentinooo: On the 7th of March, I ordered a phone which was shipped on the 18th of March. Ever since then, nothing has been heard of it. The memory card I intended to use with the phone was ordered two days later, and that one has since arrived.
From the lamentations on the aliexpress thread, I noticed a lot of people are also in my situation. They bought phones which refused to deliver whereas the accessories they ordered days after ordering the phone got delivered.
This lead to the assumption that nipost staffs are deliberately holding on to these phones for reasons best known to them.
I don't want to believe these phones are being stolen by those that are meant to deliver them to us.
Why will I buy a phone with my hard earned money only for it to be stolen by people who are meant to deliver the phone?
This is corporate robbery and should be condemned.
How will a phone come all the way from China without missing only for it to get to Nigeria and get missing?
I have to create this new thread to make our plight known to the whole world.
I have also tagged those who are having this same issue.

Phones › Redmi Note 10 Series Launching Soon With Dimensity 820 And Dimensity 720 by FryMosquito(op): 7:43pm On Sep 03, 2020 |
Redmi is reportedly working on the launch of Redmi Note 10 series in China. Yesterday, a tipster revealed that the M2007J22C phone that received approval from the State Radio Regulation Certification (SRRC) authority. This phone is believed to be arriving in the Chinese markets as Redmi Note 10. Today, the same tipster took to Weibo to reveal that the series will be powered by two Dimensity chipsets.
According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 10 series will be driven by the MediaTek MT6853V/TNZA and MT6875 chipsets. These model numbers belong to the Dimensity 720 and Dimensity 820 5G. The Redmi Note 10 series may go official either in this month or early October.
Last month, the Redmi Note 10 was spotted in the ranking list of AI Benchmarks. It revealed that the Note 10 is powered by Dimensity 820 chipset. The listing also revealed that the phone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM.
It remains to be seen with what moniker the Dimensity 720 powered Redmi phone will be arriving in the Chinese market. There is a possibility that it could be called Redmi 10 as the Note 10 has Dimensity 820. Hopefully, newer reports will spill more information the Redmi Note 10 series.
The Note 10 will be the first Note 10 series phone to arrive with 5G connectivity. It will be replacing the Redmi Note 8 series that debuted in China last year. While the company launched the Redmi Note 9 series earlier this year, the company skipped its launch in the home market mainly because it supported only 4G networks.

Johnxyz: Every OEM has its own problems. You have a point sha, but don't discourage people from buying Redmi phones. That brand is still one of the best. Give it time; Xiaomi will soon become a household name in Nigeria. You know some people are not quotient in reasoning. Talking about spare parts scattering every in Nigeria for a company that is barely one year they enter Nigeria. Their quality phones at cheaper rate is what I like about them. It won't be up to a year now they dominate markets here. |
