A plane in a simple dive.. not a rapid one .. a simple dive ... passengers will be falling out if their seats if not wearing seat belts. If they manage to leave their seats ... they will all slide down and be in a big pile on the cockpit door.

The descent was so rapid and steep that flight tracker put it's decent at Mach 1.

At such speeds and steep incline oxygen masks would have been deployed and anything or anyone not strapped to their seats would have been tossed around..

But the cabin was looking as orderly as can be..

Then there's the issue of a plumber taking over the flight controls, stabilizing the flight , contacting Saudi ATC and navigating the aircraft to a designated landing strip and landing it safely.

No insults to plumbers, but I don't believe your regular plumber can initiate such a highly skilled recovery that trained pilots struggle to achieve in a simulator and then navigate that aircraft to land safely .
