In his words "you can go to Badagagry or elsewhere and open your shops, we don't care..". Obviously the Chinese were lured into that market by those who are good at renting foreigners to fight their wars...

The issue is that the Chinese are now selling bulk to other Nigerian traders.

This is why the Ibo traders are angry as they wanted to maintain a monopoly and cartel pricing on these Chinese goods in the retail sector.

The Chinese are selling to every Nigerian who wants to buy bulk for resale which will see to the Ibo cartel style monopoly on pricing dissapear.

The Ibos are not angry with Chinese having a warehouse in the market .

And from what I understand so far the BRICs will be operating on currency swap agreement between it's members.

Which means each member state agrees to hold in reserve , the currency of each nation .

That means trade will be done not by a reserve currency but through the currency of each member state thereby removing a dominant reserve currency as is the case with the USD.
