See let me hint you on something I found out about how people of the SE relate with their elected officials.

Since their states have the lowest tax revenue and least taxed population, the people do not in anyway care how their elected officials manage state resources.

The unwritten rule is that the governor is entitled to get return on his investment in contesting and winning an election and that since the money is not from their pockets and regions but free money from Abuja , the governor can do as he pleases with it with the one condition that he doesn't tax them.

Politics and public service is seen as a business down there so they expect their governors to help themselves .

That is why you will always see them dragging who is President and governors of other states notably Lagos ,Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom but will remain silent on their own.


Their hypocritical anti corruption does not apply in their states . That charity is only extended to the Presidency and other states.
