Provide a well researched, verifiable supporting evidence from renown newspapers like FT or Times or The Guardian, not some Ibo made blogs earnestly in need of cash. |

That article was written by an Igbo man, what do you expect?
Let a Yoruba man or an Hausa man write a rejoinder and see if they dont tout one of their own as the richest of whatever generation they choose to write about. This is lazy journalism. No supporting evidence. Ojukwu was rich, but definitely not the first Nigerian millionaire |

Justcash: If they had to Yorubanize it, they should have used a political heavy weight .e.g. Tinubu, Fashola etc that can pull a considerable number of supporters. It is simply a political blunder. Fashola would have been a killer choice. You are underestimating the sense of kinship and brotherly bond that exist amongst us. Who was Olu Falae when he contested against OBJ in 1999, a virtual unknown to the common man on the street, but after a few weeks of campaign and sensitization, did he not beat OBJ? The point is that for the ordinary Yorubaman, this ticket is a lot more better than the BB ticket. I for one, as many others, do not like mixing religion with politics, and would generally go for the cool-headed than a loud mouth anyday. But the most important thing to take away from the ticket is that, it does seem like Ibos arent heavyweight in Nigerians politics. The same thing happening now, if history is to be believed, will repeat itself in 2015 and beyond. Now tell me, hows an Igbo man going to ever become president of the country? |

^^^ Alxmyr: When the chips are down, three things will determine: Financial strength, religion and tribe. Muslim/muslim ticket cannot work for them, not now that we have boko Haram. Of all the six states in west, many of their senators and reps will win. Yoruba are not swept with ACN syndrome. Lastly, Adeola was not prepared for this. And it is too late into the game. The VP doesnt have to be prepared, as long as the President is prepared, nothing else matters. As long as Fola Adeola is ready to part with some kishi, the rest can be handled |

eku_bear: Ibadan is a huge market. Great university nearby (U of I), so I can find good employees. Less commute time to Lagos. Cheap.
What do you like so much about Otta? Yeah, but the density is low as you alluded to. Great University? Well, that makes Ife even a more better place to set-up because in addition to finding good employees, standard of living is incredibly slow. Same can be said about Otta, proximity to Lagos, with great access to Unilag, YabaTech, Lasu and maybe OSU, and to some extent UI so the quality of employees would be on par with what you will get in Ibadan, and its also cheap as well |

eku_bear: I agree with this. I sort of want to move back to Nigeria one day and start a tech company. I'll probably have to have an office in Lagos, but I'd try to do the bulk of the work in Ibadan, if possible. Just a cheaper place to live. From your own perspective, what makes Ibadan more suitable than Ekiti? Other than its closeness to lagos, I see no difference btw Ibadan and Ekiti, If it was me, I'd rather set up in Otta than Ibadan |
