The song was leaked by YSG, no doubt and it was done in 2009 , at that time he wasn't known and he was looking for recognition so he dissed mode to get attention but he later removed it when he got advice that it could ruin him for dissing an established artist while he's still up and coming,so he removed the track and YSG leak it now for some misunderstanding they had

This is what actually happened but you saying its not a mode9 diss because you didn't hear modenine in full word means that you don't what what metaphors and similies means in rap, you are waiting to hear modenine you are a fo.o.o.l b4 you know its mode9 diss

I understand your points and am apologizing for my initial choice of strong words. But believe me you, I know a lyrical genius when I see one even though I can't sing. Olamide may not have the deep hard core voice, but his punchlines are very deep and surgical. Mode 9 is very good, but he lacks the marketing brilliance to push his music to the top. You can't be singing or rapping hardcore without adding the naija flavour or afro angle to it and expect peopl to buy.
you are right, that's one problem with mode 9, he's good but doesn't sell that much because of lack of naija flavor and that's why I switched to commerciAl rap, initially I disagree but nobody agreed promoting me even radio stations adviced me to go do dance track
Therein lies your problem. I know people like you won't have problem with anyone rapping in Jamaican patwa(an Island of just 3 million people). What you are suffering from is known as acute inferiority complex. People like you suffering from low self esteem even have reggae hours across the country, a specific time dedicated to transmit music from a language of just 3 million people while they looked dwon on their brothers. Besides, Olamide did some stuffs using undiluted English like Baddo Love. According to you, a professor of Yoruba or Igbo language shouldn't be accorded respect because they speak local languages?

I'm not Igbo, but I enjoy Flavor's song from A to Z. I'm not French but I enjoyed Awilo.

You still want him to help push you to limelight? I thought you said he's wack? By the way, can you drop your freestyle here or you dey fear fear?
1st of all, I encourage nigeria rap music more than american rap so I don't have the low self esteem of promoting other people's music, I can listen to jamiacan music and feel good about it maybe because of the beat or the voice but I can never start saying that the jamaican is the best lyricist because I don't even know if what he's saying actually make sense or not

in this case, olamide maybe good in what he does but I get mad when people label him the best in the nation, if you bring olamide who's lyrically good according to you and bring sky b whom every rap head know that is wack and ask them to freestyle, and the judge is m.I,who do you think he will give it to? Sky b ofcourse and no one can quote him wrong because aint no way to know if olamide is good or not

I'm looking for olamide's attention just for a publicity stunt, I've tried wizkid and it didn't work(he's price is much)if I see a means of featuring tonto dikeh I will, she's a wack singer but her presents will do me a lot favour

My best rappers in africa are mode9 and OD,I was spitting like them but not anymore(I still do but on mixtapes) I'm now commercial cause I want to sell records so I'm kinda spit like rugged man, so you see, my looking for olamide is not about his tightness but music hype that's all...

Come to music section(rap battle) that's where I da freestyling
No point wasting time on that guy. I know exactly how people like him are in real life. And I don't even think he's a Yoruba. Atleast those of us old enough and still loyal to the game can still identify lyrical geniuses when we come across any. Right from the era of easy e, ice cube, Dr.dre down to biggie smalls, 2 Pac, xzibit, DMX, Ja rule to when toy rappers like Kanye WEST are mounting the stage. Here we have to talk about the likes of Mode 9, Ruggedy baba, Nigga raw, 2 short, Eedris Abdulkarim, M.I, Lord of Ajasa, Da Grin. Mode 9 should be the fore runner, but he's not even versatile like olamide.

I always run olamide down not until after watching his free style on Jimmy Jump Off with DJ Jimmy Jatt then it occurred to me that a star is born. You may wanna say you don't like Olamide's style but it will amount to sheer dishonesty to say he's wack. A guy that plays around with words like chewing gum, delivers heavy punchlines with precision and rhymes effortlessly. He's so creative that he can decide to do anything in a single track. He was even asked about the Yoruba stuff, he answered by saying music is a universal language. Goto YouTube and watch VOTS or Young Erikina and read the comments over there.
guy you don't just know anything about rap game, with your explanation and the names you mentioned has already let me know

I wonder why somebody would call olamide the best rapper in nigeria (am not even talking of africa cos dat will be stewpid to say) a country where only few people understands the language he uses, how do you explain to non yorubas that this your olamide is lyrically good, its just like an hausa comedian cracking jokes with hausa and expects me to laugh, how would I know when he said something funny?

As long as hiphop is concerned, olamide can never be crowned, although am struggling up and down to see if he can spit something on my track but that's just for publicity stunt

Moshkom: Wat Oliseh jst said now s fact.. To me thr s no diff btw d Super Eagles nd d Tahitians #Tahiti because we both av only one foreign player in d tournament whic ours s MIKEL odas ar jst thr cos dey need to complete d team.
nigerians with their level of reasoning, others are there to complete the team yet we won the nation's cup, and when we did there was nothing wrong with the team and now the team is of no good, what if we won this confed cup with this team would any of you notice this faults?

Since this confed tournament ended I was disappointed @ nigerians for their steady ranting especially on twitter, let me ask, what did they expect? Nigeria to win spain ? Very ridiculous, infact this tournament went as I predicted it, nig win tahiti, uruguay slightly win nig and spain beat us well, that's my prediction

Because we won the afcon now everyone expected us to win all the world champions, nigerians get low mentality I tell you, I know say dem go dey expect keshi to win the world cup too

African champion was beating by the world champion by 3 goals to nil and we are ranting, now the world champion got beaten by other by 3 goals to nil,so what are they gonna do

In addition, oliseh is a liar by saying he doesn't want the super eagle coaching job, that's funny, all of the hovering around that corridors of NFF wants them job, they are all praying for keshi's sack letter

This guy is out of this world, I hate saying this cos I don't even like him as a person. But lyrics and flow? no one does it better than him presently. Just check out comments from YouTube.
story... To start with, I see the guy b4 you calling him the best rapper in afrika, Lol.. In one blog I saw someone saying he should rep naija in rap battle against south africa, what da hell, who will understand this guy?

I still maintain my stand that the guy is no where comparable to late dagrin, he actually has what to say(lyrics) but doesn't know how to say it as a rapper, he just shout with no style, the guy is wack, is not all about flow but how to flow it

but many artists put so much effort on record sell as if its from their they make their money, if record sells is not where they earned from like you said then why do they bother making the cds? Why not post everything online for people to download

I'm a strong hiphop head but I can't remember the last time I went to the market to buy cd,its either I get from a friend and transfer to my phone through bluetooth or I surf the net and download it

Infact I have sites book marked in my phone that I can find any music that am looking for And I'm sure am not the only one like this, many people are

So my question,is invention of internet, phones & ipods affecting record sells?

Bokoharam: You got it right but you only made your last "" to be joined together with your last word (thought), thereby confusing the computer from applying the 'quote programme.' You need to separate them from the sentence you are quoting. In other words, ensure the "" and "['/quote]" signs are stand-alone, so they are not misunderstood by the computer.

For eg, to quote the sentence, "I am always right," you must write the sentence separate from the quote signs.
