Nah, deep inside u, u r not happy; cos I don't see why u r dragging Bayelsa ND Rivers. U people should enjoy ur 22 states and ur FG. But it seems ur FG is not satisfied. Hence their sadness in not getting Bayelsa ND Rivers. Please ask dem why!
It's simple, any sensible party will want to add more states to its warchest. You didn't expect the APC to just fold its arms because it has nearly twice as many states as the struggling PDP, and it controls the Presidency.
Politics › Re: Pdp Is Part Of Us In South South: Ask Amaechi And Dakuku by fulanimafia: 10:59am On Mar 20, 2016
macfarland:
Amaechi and Buhari are two big losers and will both end up shameful very soon. Amaechi must be ashamed of himself wherever he is. He should be ready to kiss his political career goodbye. This is interesting in two perspectives. First, and most crucially, the fact that he was heard asseverating that Buhari is his personal friend. Yes, his loss would, ipso facto, be Buhari's loss for the umpteenth time in Rivers State. Recall that he was purveyed with everything he needed: money and security personnel. If these could not suffice to produce the desired result, it then means both the paymaster and the piper are politically flaccid.
Second, this huge victory will dampen Amaechi's pride and relegate him to the background in the APC fold. Yes, the likes of Ali Ndume, Senate Leader, will watch the speck fall off his eyes and the hypnosis shall take to flight. Yes, Tinubu will capitalize on this weakness and edge this abominable fellow out of the Federal Cabinet. Yes, reprieve will come the way of our beloved Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, for the masqueraded foe has become a national embarrassment.
Indeed, the evil that men do lives with them. This nemesis has come to the victim with utmost celerity. I am impelled to believe that the lesson has sunk: no single individual can be greater than a people. There is always a time to be paid in your own coin. Rivers' people have never been this resolute.
Lol what intense delusion of grandeur.

I don't think so.

APC still controls 22 states including Lagos (clear majority compared to PDP's 13), and we control the Federal Government that shares the revenue to all other states (including Rivers). Ameachi remains a Federal Minister of Transport while Dakuku Peterside is the new NIMASA Chairman.

Furthermore, Ameachi the Lion of Ubima retains his title as the Jonathan slayer that helped rescue Nigeria from the fangs of the PDP by kicking 'em out of Aso Rock.

The fact is that ethnic sentiments have been thrown up in the SS about the Ubima Lion regarding his contribution to the humiliating defeat of Jonathan, which have played in favor of Wike and the PDP.

We are all still sitting pretty sir cool.
Politics › Re: Misrule Worse Than Boko Haram-PDP by fulanimafia:
Imagine the evil party that misgoverned Nigeria for 16 years talking of misrule...

- The party of impunity that caused the loss of hundreds of lives through the immigration recruitment scam and failed to punish the Minister.

- The corrupt party in which our national reserves were looted dry by Diezani and her likes...

- The incompetent party that failed to fix our refineries for 16 years...

- The failed party that failed to diversify the economy even when oil prices were at an all time high of $140 per barrel...

- The deceptive party that failed to deliver the 2nd Niger Bridge despite several promises to the people of the South East...

- The undemocratic party that attempted to truncate our democracy by sponsoring Orubebe to disrupt the announcement of Presidential election results...

- The criminal party that empowered, wined and dined with murderous militants and criminals like Tompolo and Asari Dokubo...

- The failed party that failed to provide Nigerians with stable electricity despite wasting $16 Billion...

- The wicked and evil party that presided over the diversion of security funds to fight Boko Haram to their failed Presidential campaign, thereby boosting the terrorists capacity to kill and destroy, thereby perpetuating their existence...

PDP and her wailers seem to have been struck with serious amnesia. We Nigerians have not forgotten the failure called the PDP.

So you'd sacrifice a quest for nationhood because of petty sentiments? Because you want to get even with a perceived 'enemy' you would proclaim One Nigeria at the expense of Biafrauud? And you wonder why your biafraaud has remained a failed struggle since '66?

What an unfortunate overly emotional lot you are.

You know Zero about Igbos.

So you think a handful of perhaps hired youths wearing okpu-agu on their heads represent the voice of approximately 32 million Igbos ?
You gotta be kidding.

Gosh , this level of ignorance is pathetic.
Those are neither Indians nor Germans in that photo. Are you suggesting that the desires of a section of Ibos are irrelevant and will be trampled upon if you ever get your own country? Are you saying that their voices would be deliberately drowned for your selfish interests?

No wonder biafrauud has remained a failure. Confusion within the ranks.

Cognitive dissonance again.

You said it was an index, I corrected you that it is a list ( another word for compilation).

S&P 500 is an index, not the Fortune 500.
Daahhhh !!
Gosh.

In Finance (which is the context and incidentally my forte), an index is a statistical measure of changes in a representative group of individual data points. These data may be derived from any number of sources, including company performance, prices, productivity, and employment.

Now that that's cleared up, I would have asked you to explain how Aba shoemakers can expect to make the list of a compilation of top 500 U.S. companies as you ignorantly asserted, but to save you the embarrassment and ensure you don't derail the thread any further, you will be pardoned.

Now, if you must continue to contribute to this thread, at least respond to the OP's assertion that Ibos want to rule Nigeria as they're the only ones capable of ruling it.

Simple logic that will evade those people collectively suffering from a chronic delusion of grandeur.

First, the fortune 500 is not an index.
It is a list of the 500 most valuable companies in the world.
Again you're wrong.

The Fortune 500 is a compilation of the 500 largest companies in the United States as compiled by FORTUNE magazine.

I'm sure you now realize the utter idiocy of your earlier statement.

Now quit derailing and focus on the thrust of the thread which is a call for Ibo Presidency. I've had enough of the petty d1ck measurement and will ignore further derailment.
Business › Re: Dangote Group Sponsors Nigerians To India To Understudy Refinery Operations by fulanimafia:
Quite impressive.

Aliko Dangote is clearly one of the most patriotic Nigerian businessmen committed to reviving our national economy while creating wealth for himself. This capacity development means the beneficiaries upon their return, can effectively train our indigenous technicians to become trainers themselves and so the technology transfer from India would be accomplished.

If we had only 5 more Dangote's in this country, Nigeria would definitely be a better place. Kudos sir.

Hahaha.

At least you inadvertently admit the superiority of the Igbo culture and society.

If 3 Forbes billionaires are the highlights of your people's achievements, then we are justified in laughing at your feudal mindset.

In Igboland, every person is a fortune 500 prospect.
That's what drives us to excellence.

Unlike the medieval serfs in your neck of the woods, We don't gloat over the disproportionate wealth gaps of the very few.

We celebrate the creative potentials, the audacity, the mendacity of ALL able bodied persons in our society.

In case you didn't learn it in school, the size of the middle class is what makes a society great, not the tiny Rentier class that leech on the society.
We are talking reality, this pleb is taking prospects, which is hilariously ironic especially when the brightest of your young men are being hanged weekly in the prisons of Malaysia for drug trafficking and the females have converted their wombs to manufacturing units in baby factories. Keep seeking for your phantom superiority while you are dominated left, right and center. Your crazed desire to assert superiority smacks of inferiority complex. You'd better focus on your fight for freedom grin.

P.S.The Fortune 500 is an index of companies, not a list of individuals. Grab a book whenever you can son.

I wonder how a thread calling for Ibo Presidency has been derailed by empty chestbeaters seeking Biafra. They must have been thoroughly embarrassed about their collective confusion regarding whether they want to rule one Nigeria or they want to leave.

The Nigeria we have today is the creation of Aguiyi Ironsi's decree 34 that abolished true federalism in Nigeria for what we have today. If in spite of everything you are still doing better than other Nigerians why are you screaming the loudest? What level playing field are you asking for when you are already faring better than everyone?
This is your Nigeria and you must embrace it like you would embrace Cossy Orjiakor's chest.
The Achilles heel of ibos is their baseless pride, which always comes before a fall, and always blurs clear reasoning. They leech on the economy of the North, West and South, they are nowhere near the top wealthiest Nigerians, they are the least infrastructurally developed, and have the highest crime rate, yet they convince themselves they fare better than others.

That the dude you quoted was asking for Ibos to be respected, underlines my points and highlights the emptiness of their claims. Respect is earned, never demanded.

I've not heard anyone call the current killing, roasting and beheading of fellow human beings in Rivers State the activities of Ijaw fishermen or Itsekiri terrorists. Silly hypocrites.

If the criminal 'herdsmen' continue their blood sucking activities for the next 5 years, they wouldn't have sacrificed up to the 3 million innocent Ibos Ojucrook wasted before running to Abidjan with his tail in between his legs.
