DauraDullardo:You're a joker if you expect this moniker to respond to trolls. |
DauraDullardo:Excuse you? |
The positive effect I'm looking forward to is the funneling of foreign exchange into our foreign reserves, which will ease the pressure on, and catalyze the recovery of the Naira. |
elopee3000:You must think I have free time for iPod touts. Show me where movement of coal from Enugu was mentioned or even hinted at in the article. Osu. |
elopee3000:Quit that ogogoro Mr man and stop sounding like your gala sellers. Go back and read the article. |
elopee3000:Don't be daft. I'm sure you read in the article that solar power would be the energy source, and nowhere was the movement of coal from Enugu mentioned...so stop portraying yourself as an irreverent bigot. |
Obiodunukwe:Wikkid ![]() |
Things are bound to get better, especially as investors are becoming increasingly confident because of President Buhari's firm stand on issues, particularly devaluation. Thank goodness the oil price is also recovering quickly, at a time we are also focusing on diversifying from oil revenue. The good times are coming... |
This is a welcome development, I hope all those misguided 'yoots' that have been calling the Emir a bigot are reading this. Kudos to Dangote and Emir Sanusi, spearheading the much needed energy revolution in Nigeria. |
ShyNeptune:I'm humbled, na gode. |
Ratello:Why do you hate the truth? Answer this question: amagunnerfan: |
anonimi:Nah I'd rather leave you to concentrate on posting more JPEG's. |
Were you were expecting him to ride a camel? However frugality should be the watch-word in these austere times, especially as Kano is just a few hours away from Abuja. The only reasonable justification would be that he did not have enough time to make the trip by road amidst his legislative duties. |
Please serve your country well Madam Adejoke... ...and may God guide you in the discharge of your duties. |
Fayose is sitting on a keg of gunpowder. The much awaited investigation into EkitiGate has commenced, and the goats are being rounded up. If Fayose was thinking that Aluko's expose' would be swept under the carpet, then he needs to stop sleeping on a bicycle. It is common sense that corruption will definitely fight back, as evidenced by the screams of tyranny and witch hunt. Thank goodness the era of impunity was booted out with the ineffectual buffoon, a new order is here and everyone must shape up or ship out. |
jpphilips:Lol, they were clearly visitors, and it would be the duty of their non-agbada wearing guides to guide them accordingly. |
Aliko Dangote - Arewa's beacon of entrepreneurial excellence. We look forward to his turnaround of PAN Kaduna through his new stake in the company. In business and politics, I celebrate the dominance of my kinsmen. May the Governor's mum rest in peace. |
Watch what? A clip that could easily have been doctored? Was the ban on secession protests not clear to the protesters before they commenced their treasonable illegality? No one expects a validation of PMB from iPod 'yoots' so keep spewing your inconsequential invectives ![]() |
agabaI23: fulanimafia:No substance, nothing but hot air. You have confirmed my suspicion that your criticism is driven by political/ethnic sentiments. I have little patience for your type so swerve. |
BeClever:Your post is incoherent. |
My only grouse with that interview was his dismissive answer to the question on some budget allocations. However everything else was alright, and the classically blunt PMB impressed me with his clear and decisive stance on our national issues. |
agabaI23:And how does that automatically translate into a change of management? Have you forgotten Dangote is also getting a stake in the company? You have absolutely no facts to suggest that the management of PAN would suffer if it's ownership structure is changed. If you do, state it. |
agabaI23:Read the news article again. It said the government was acquiring a majority stake in the company, and not total acquisition. @ Bolded...that is not necessarily true. |
yommen:https://www.nairaland.com/2955078/experience-checking-out-innoson-car |
agabaI23:First of all, the UK government has a stake in Rolls Royce. Secondly, having a stake in PAN does not necessarily mean that it's management would be affected, changed or politicized, unlike in the cases of NITEL and Mtel. What this simply means is that more financing would be available to the company to expand its operations, and the government is creating jobs, fostering the growth of allied industries, and creating a new revenue stream by this investment. Finally, PAN Nigeria is owned by ASD Motors (owned by Alhaji (Dr.) Sani Dauda), a wholly indigenous company, so your talk about it pulling out of Nigeria is completely baseless. |
I'm from Sokoto State in the North West, resident in the diaspora, and I'm a product of our diversity as my mother is from Edo State, which has allowed me to explore all regions of this country and blessed me with a broader perspective. My favorite meal is Masa with vegetable soup and man shanu. I love Yorubas for their tolerance and academic prowess, while I like ibos for their enterprising nature. I think the problem in the North is mostly religious intolerance and corrupt leadership. The understatement of our achievements and successes, as well as our indifference to negative stereotypes also contributes to the unpleasant perception held by some Nigerians regarding the North. Kudos to the OP and the mods for a sane and beautiful thread. |
NaijaCuzin:Do you think an expansion of production capacity would not create jobs as well as foster the emergence and growth of allied industries (such as lubricant manufacturers) to support their operations? Think my friend. |
That was simply an objective statement. The focus is the fight against terror, any other issue (such as islamization) is simply a baseless distraction. |
Weedcrusher:Are you looking for a monopoly? He should be encouraged as well but he needs to upgrade the standard of his products to be able to compete in the market with other more established brands. |
Interestingly, this comes at a time the company is planning to resume production of the luxury Peugeot 408 which can easily be used as official cars for top government functionaries and capable Nigerians alike. Nigeria is working...we will get there.
|
Amazing development from the thinking governor. PAN has so much capacity and technical expertise that it would be absolutely senseless to let such an asset go to waste. With the way they have been rolling out world standard vehicles since the 1970's and enjoyed the military government's patronage of its 504 Best line and 406 in the 90's, the possibilities are limitless under a civilian administration committed to the 'Buy Nigerian' campaign. |
