Did you not see that the apology was made two months ago before Kanu was arrested? What is then the basis of your statement "Who thought the touts manners would be reset so soon?"
The 48-year-old pro-Biafran agitation leader, who is, however, unapologetic about his demand for a Republic of Biafra, has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since his arrest in Lagos on October 14, 2015.

He tendered the apology for his comment against Buhari and others in a statement which he made to the DSS on October 23.

Less than a week? It actually buttresses my point, especially considering Buhari ignored his apology since then.

Nnamdi Kanu is eating the fresh humble pie, drizzled with some regret sauce.

This misguided tout must have assumed the Buhari Presidency was going to tolerate his rubbish, but the results of investigations and the treason charge is rapidly teaching the tout manners.

Who would ever imagine that the chestbeating Kanu would admit that insulting Buhari was wrong, unnecessary and regrettable?

Hear him: "Reference to the
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as
a terrorist, evil and a paedophile is regrettable
and uncalled for and for that, I unreservedly
apologise and will be doing so in a private
letter to the President".

Who thought the touts manners would be reset so soon? He can continue to agitate for Biafra from the comfort of his cage, his prosecution must continue and a firm lesson must be taught with this case.

Kudos to Daura's DSS for resetting Nnamdi's brain back to factory settings in record time.

Since you have refused to reason, you have no choice but to go to sleep with the reality that your President is Hausa and has chosen to grant interviews to BBC Hausa. Work hard for an Ibo President and an Ibo BBC.

adconline:
He's the president of Naija not president of Hausa. It's like opening a govt meeting with Quran prayer instead of National anthem. It's not his job to grant interview in Hausa when he's discussing national budget for 170m most of whom don't speak Hausa.

Pidggin:
Hausa is not the only tribe in this country, we have many other tribes. If the president is tactful, why will he choose to communicate on national issues via his mother tongue? So in your opinion, it is okay for the remaining tribes to have to wait for the translated version of his interview, does it mean that we are of less importance than your tribesmen? If this is what it means, then PMB is only fanning the flames of disunity, and it will certainly be his undoing.
See? Inferiority complex like I initially diagnosed.

Why would he not communicate with the BBC Hausa Service? Are Hausa's not part of his citizens? Were the other tribes deprived of the same information?

You have no case, go and boil a stone, maybe it will help your bile.

Pidggin:
Yes, I agree, I am pained because of all the reasons I gave in my first post. How can a whole president of a country like ours insist on consistently communicating with BBCHausa service? Does it mean that he is deliberately refusing to communicate with our own local stations, if this is the case, why? Does it also mean that he is not comfortable with using our own official language in communication, especially as regards national issues? These are questions that should not be left unanswered

Just like BBC Brasil, BBC Russia, BBC Mundo and BBC Spanish were established because those countries were made up of uneducated people that can't speak English right? Lmao.

You are pained grin.

(For your information, it was announced in November 2015 that BBC Yoruba and BBC Pidgin are to commence operations tongue)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-34902244

Pidggin:
Fulani warrior I am not surprised at your thoughtless outburst. It is people like you that promote disunity in this country. Fortunately for us, my people are educated and we can communicate very well in our official language hence we are not in urgent need of a sectarian foreign media station, unlike your kindred who find it difficult to assimilate a language that all other tribes have mastered with ease. That said, as long as Buhari remains our president, he owes it to us to uphold our symbols of identity, one of which is our official language.
Politics › Re: 7 Reasons Why P.M.B Should Grant All Formal Interviews In Our Official Language by fulanimafia: 7:59pm On Dec 29, 2015
Where did you see any suggestion that Hausa should be made the official language?

BBC Hausa is a Hausa station that broadcasts in Hausa.

Were you expecting the President to speak in English?
Do you realize if it was a Yoruba/Ijaw speaking President, the interview would still have been translated to Hausa?
Do you not realize it is the need for balance that made the President conduct an English version of the same interview?

This is a either a petty case of covetousness, hatred, jealousy or inferiority complex; otherwise there are no grounds for dissatisfaction.

adconline:
Inferiority is when u don't want to compete with official national language. You want Jamb score to be lowered for ur kids to be given admission.. Now you want Hausa to made official language when English is official language of business and governance??

Go and cure your inferiority complex.

If you're really pained, go and open BBC Ibo.

While you're at it, establish VOA Ibo so that you can ensure the North has no advantage over you.

As per your findings, you & I know that the Nigerian problem is a unique one & is as a result of corruption & mismanagement which I touched in my earlier posts (so I don't know why you are still stating the obvious). Don't you understand that in any economy, huge size of the population brings the expectation of greater strength & immense wealth? What do you have to say about china or USA with regards to numbers in relation to wealth?
Just as I suspected, a confident dunce grin.

The prosperity of a population is relative to its resources and how they are managed. Now Nigeria has failed to optimally manage its limited resources due to poor leadership and other factors, do you now a expect a subset of such a population with leadership failure to thrive just because it boasts of a higher population?

Doesn't logic, rationality and every shade of common sense tell you that such limited resources would be even more thinly spread resulting in a lower income per capita?

Why do you think the equitable distribution of wealth is a challenge that has plagued man since Adam? Are you aware that almost half of the world’s wealth is now owned by just one percent of the population, and the poorest people in the world are found in the largest population?

I will answer the question that is relevant to the subject of our conversation.

The FOI bill is in operation at the moment, and I expected the opposition to request for details of the breakdown, instead of peddling cheap and shameful propaganda in order to settle perceived scores.

With regard to the report, the feeding budget was approved and implemented since 2012 (and even reduced in 2014). The document was obtained from the National Assembly when they requested the details of GEJ's 2012 budget, and published by Premium Times so its authenticity is not questionable.

I understand the pain of Jonathan supporters considering recent developments, but you guys need to be less deceitful, dishonest, emotional and more intelligent in furthering your agenda.

Cheers.

great664:
Thanks I must say I like the way you defend someone you believe in but sometimes you must be on the fence on some issues

So why can't the present administration do same by approving FOI Act to enable us know and understand how much they budgeted (that's being transparent) or the FOI act is in enforcement but the journalist are too lazy to seek for it or buhari keep denying them or FOI is scrap? Correct me pls, I might be wrong

And about Premiumtines being source which I have no doubt is same as any Media house publishing for whatever reason, you and I know that Nigeria media is compromised even Channels TV.

This reminds about the Assset declaration publicly. Please I stop following it, did buhari later declared his asset publicly like he promised during the campaing so Nigerians can actually know how much he is worth and prove his integrity .Provide a link for me pls

In politics, emotion and sentiments must be detached and the overriding goal should be the focus.

We also have our own interests, we desperately need forex to 'balance' the economy and ease pressure on our current reserves. It is therefore our duty to protect our interests and tread carefully with the knowledge we have about the U.S's precedents.

Thank foru for your wise comment but please can you tell us how much was budgets for Presidential feeding for PMB so we can compare and contrast with the last administration as APC has made comparison very vital or is there nothing like Presidential feeding in the budget? If NO, how will Buhari take care of Aso Rock guest? Will it be from his purse or where.

While at it pls can you help me too to show the proof o the past administration budgeting N1 Billion for Presidential feeding?

Thank you in advance for the time
Those details are obtainable by applying the FOI Act. You can request for such information or journalists can do same on your behalf.

Below, is the proof you asked for as obtained by Premium Times through the application of the FOI Act. (the N1b was in the 2012 budget, not last year's.)
