Vanellope: 1. Chironex (Box Jellyfish)

Box Jellyfish is also on our 10 Most Dangerous Animals In The World list. The most dangerous creature in the ocean doesn’t have a venomous bite, rows of sharp teeth, or even an obvious mouth for that matter. But nevertheless, the box jellyfish, also known as the sea wasp, is more responsible for human deaths on the continent of Australia than snakes, sharks, and saltwater crocodiles put together.
This JELLYFISH make me to remember this Will Smith film, 7pounds what a movie.

3cycle: As a lady, sometimes I come across great post by a guy and I fall in love immediately. Most times I try to ignore the poster but I do Remember The username so I summon the courage to follow him and see if I can strike an online conversation before I send a pm but I never succeed. sad

Just yesterday a young tall guy on Nairaland from Enugu state gave me an all time blow when it was obvious I was trying to woo him, he started with iyanga and walah he ignored me completelyonly for somebody to call me names for making my intention known. cry
To make matters worst his response was "I don hang boot since last year"
Who says that to a lady bikonu huh

Do we really have gentlemen on Nairaland?
Can a guy reply pm's of a girl with an open mind?
What are the chances of starting an e romance if a lady were to be the innitiator?
Seun is it possible for us to chat with a nairalander without a third party involved?

Jarus: I'm a young man. I don't think it's in my interest, professional speaking, to be changing jobs every now and then. It is my plan to grow with this company. I'm not thinking of quitting for any other company in the short to medium term.

Say that with some emotion in your face. Even though it's a lie. If Shell offer comes tomorrow, omho, grab it o. LOL

2prexios: we are in the 8th month already, I love to share the story of Olokun as point of connection to the spirit of prosperity in you. Never mind, I can see prosperity in your eyes, I can see the dreams you are toiling to make come true. Believe it, you are not alone. As young adults, this is the time to buckle up and double the zeal in spite of the state of the nation. May you live your dreams.

Sometimes, I do recourse to the life and time of the ancestors just to draw some poetic inspiration to keep going on and on in spite of the huddles on the way as it is the nature of man. These are necessary huddles, "nothing venture nothing won" goes the wise saying. My mind is at ease on this collection on Olokun at my disposal.

Bi a ko ba ba Oba gbele
Abe Oba kii pani lori,
Bi a ko ba ba Oba pala,
Oko Oba kii dani lese.

Iwo naa sure re arin igbe o too dako
adia fun Olokun seni Ade,
Aji filu ki, omoba labulabu,
Bii igba epo.

Kee pe o kejina
ewa bawa ni arusegun,
arusegun lawa wa.

To the Yoruba, Ifa originated with Olokun, whose precept brought joy. Hence it is said, Ifa Olokun, asoro-dayo. The word Olokun simply means one who own the sea. Mind you, it can also mean "one who divide the sea". Well I'm not making that up, Ifa is old enough to tell its own story. By the way, Olokun is the patron saint of Ifa, the epitome of wisdom.

More than that, Olokun is an harbinger of joy. He was praised in Yoruba as omo-inajoko-majerun. As the earth continue through the cosmic path happily, all day long, may it bring joy to our path also. May this joy spread over and continually be our portion.
Interesting. cool cool cool

Celebrities › Re: Timaya Asks For God's Forgiveness For 'Ukwu' Song by Funjosh(m): 5:38pm On Sep 02, 2014
entadaplace: In what I describe as a strange reaction, the ‘Dem Mama’ record boss — Timaya , is begging God for forgiveness for singing ‘Ukwu’.

Timaya, the ‘Ukwu’ crooner has stated that everything he does when it comes to music is entirely to get himself a living and nothing more.

The outspoken singer said he tries his best to give his fans the kind of music they want to listen to and watch, adding that his desire to do something his fans want is the reason his songs were banned on television and radio stations.

He claims that his plan was never to do secular music for a long time because of his upbringing at the Living Gospel Mission as a chorister but he changed to the person he is right now because of what people want.

The singer said he in fact started with Gospel Music, then he went into singing about envies, which he got rebuked for anyways. So he decided to try something new and that’s why he got rid of his dreadlocks.

Timaya went further to say that what people don’t know is that he never for once disconnected with God, despite the fact that he now does secular songs. He added that he did the hit ‘Ukwu’ song just to make a living for himself and that he goes back to God in prayers to beg for forgiveness.

However, his statement did not go down well with some fans, who think he misleads people just to make money.

What do you think?

Lynbrook: During my years of schooling in Nigeria and ghana, i have noticed dat it is easier to get admission into Ghanaian universities compare to those in Nigeria. I have been schooling in ghana for more than 3years and i want to use this as an avenue to help those that have suffered the issue of our almighty JAMB....

I am presently in Zenith University. I will be of help2 any1 who has intentions of schooling in Ghana...

The credentials are listed below:
1. Waec/Neco Result with pass in math, English and agricultural science and any other 3 courses. You will also need to send an unused WAEC scratch card for verification

2.Original birth certificate from your local government

3.Scanned passport.

4.Testimonial from your high school if you have one.

5. You will also need an ECOWAS passport wen coming to Ghana but that will not be needed for the admission.

That is all u need for the admission.....

THE INTERESTING FACT IS THAT THERE IS NO JAMB OR UNIVERSITY EXAM BEFORE ADMISSION, ALL U NEED IS YOUR WAEC OR NECO RESULT...AND AGAIN YOUR ADMISSION IS SURE, JUST GET THE NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS
