Till today I am still looking for my incision site. I walk around in my house with my bare tummy and my cribs still doubt that I birthed my lo with CS.
I was delivered of my baby on a Wednesday, starting walking the next day though not easy and discharged on Friday. It added to their confusion. They expected me to stay more days. Lastly my stomach is so flat now even when I don't use girdle.
Good technology is good biko.

Nawa ooo, the private I use is owned by a gynaecologist who works in one of the Federal Medical Centres in Nas state and he has about three hospitals. I think all these prices are dependent on location and the charges of his hospital in Abuja will be higher cos I remember a day I was in his office and he was talking to a student doctor about always considering location before fixing prices on anything. Even in the hospital scan is 1500, tests like malaria is 700 so I think it's largely dependent on location. Here in the North where I am, Primary health cares has more clients for all types of sicknesses than private hospitals.
When I asked how much for normal delivery and he gave that amount, I was shocked that when I got home I told DH the doctor said between 150-200k , though their CS is over 100k.

Abeg how dem dey do the tommy if dem no sew am?

Sorry Mama's vigilanti delayed this bs....I got pregnant when my first baby was 23 months old...it was unplanned because I wanted my first child to be about 3yrs before trying for another baby....anyways my husband was very happy and the journey started...when I was about 9weeks I started having brown discharge,I was placed on progesterone but it graduated to bleeding and I lost that pregnancy at 16weeks...I was supposed to be team February last year....after that,I suffered from retained product to infections...I was scared I won't be able to get pregnant again but God did it after 3 months of trying..I got my bfp.
The pregnancy journey was not easy compared to my first, from first trimester vomiting and weakness that I had to take drip to brown discharge again but this time I registered with general hospital because I dnt want any story....I was placed on duphastone and other drugs plus bed rest and it stopped....I was so scared but God took charge....At 37weeks I was already prepared to receive my baby, hospital bag was packed but for where,baby refused to come,I did some exercises,sex but nothingI was so tired....I read somewhere about nipple stimulation and I stared having some painful contractions....at 41 weeks,the doctor booked me for induction,but I was already having some contractions and I told the doctor that was supposed to do the cervical ripening...but he dismissed it and my husband got the materials for the ripening....that thing was so painful,the doctor pocked and pocked untill he discovered I was already 3cm dilated....he let me be till the next day,I was in pains.... I was already 5cm in the morning and oxytocin was fixed around 9am...the real pain started but anytime they check,they will just tell me am close....it was a real battle..and those general hospital nurses were not helping....everyother woman already gave birth and left the labour ward,I was the only one inside...I will call and call that I want to poo but they will just ignore me that not yet..at a point I could not hold it and I was pushing on my own,they checked and warned me to stop so I dnt tear my cervix, for where.....I had already given up...I begged them for CS but they just shouted at me that am sturborn and I was delaying the baby cos I was moving my hand where the drip was fixed...I had to call my husband begging him not to allow me die and ask them for CS but they still refused....to cut the long story short,God just sent an Angel in form of the senior doctor....he instructed them on wat to do,told my husband to get glucose that I was exhausted and he asked me to push at the next contraction...that was how I pushed out my angel around 6pm....I had serious tear that I was screaming down the whole hospital while they were sewing....after that I discovered the placed was swollen,I could not move,they had to dip there hands there again,oh... another round of pain....I was given an injection and I slept off while they did their thing....I woke up around 10am ,very weak....took a cup of tea but I could not sleep again...the pain was much and swollen again by morning...the doctor dipped his hands again...pushed a pad inside and I almost fainted....he just asked that we watch it and it will go down gradually.gave me my drugs and we were discharged....my princess is doing great,I am getting better but it's still swollen there.

Hahaha Thank God oo. We're gradually leaving the first trimester. I really cannor wait o . This first trimester has been fun o, no morning sickness, no vomitting, no spitting, only bloated tummy once in a while and i'm gradually dropping that package. 2nd Trimester better be as nice as the 1st

I carry myself go do scan today since I will be 36weeks come next week by His grace and to also confirm sex and baby's position. You can imagine how this boy just open legs,him no even gree do yanga sef.
Anyways, head is already down but one thing wey make me laugh na when doctor the call 31weeks for me and giving me edd as 31st march I just look am laugh. Na only him go born 31st. Me wey first scan give me 2nd and the second scan give me 8th March which made me join team February .
