I'm married, and I entered the pool, but I put spouse not accompying to get a scores of 473. My spouse is not able to write the IELTS exam yet cos of delay in passport. If I choose for him to be accompying, my scores reduces to 454.

I read on quora that you can add spouse if the cutoff is around 453. Please is this true?

Would you rather advise I just wait, if adding him won't be that easy?

I think you guys should wait, add your husband and cross your fingers, if you decided to add his unaccompanied you will have to sponsor him later when you get to Canada which might take like 1 year to get approved

My Sister who is in Nigeria, contacted me yesterday that she got an Agent's contact. The Agent would help her get a Slot for a 2-year work visa(A particular company in Canada) directly from Nigeria.

I told her that I understand that the Canadian Government issues licenses to some companies and that makes it possible for such companies to sponsor foreigners to work in Canny.

I explained to her that I don't feel good about such arrangements because:

1. What is the meaning of slots? Slots sounds like a shady arrnagemnet just like we hear people say they've got slots in Nigeria.

2. You are not a specialist ( Health Sector, Tech Guru etc) and your occupation is not on the the list of shortage occupation. What then is special about you that will make a company sponsor you for such work visa?

3. I feel the Canadian companies that allow such arrangements might be struggling companies that charge a fee for such service.

4. I feel the working conditions in such companies might not be good and such employers might maltreat you because they brought you in some sort of way.

These are just my thoughts. I assured my sister that I will do an extensive research and get back to her in 3 days.

Kindly tell me everything and anything you know about such schemes. Thank you

We welcomed our charming bobo this morning 7:26am at 38 weeks through Elective CS

Baby’s weight is 4.2kg , scan said 3.3kg

Mummy and baby doing great , daddy too is very happy !

Good evening mamas, My Los activity has really reduced. Tho I know he is in there, but for for days now or so he rarely moves or kick on his own onless I cajole him like touch my belly for a long time, shake it or something like that, and he just move to tell me he is in there and that's all, till I touch him again.. at 35wks fah. Even his dad noticed.
Going to do scan tomorrow Sha just to be sure, if to say I no dey use general hospital and my doctors are easy to access I for go hospital straight sef.
Any reason to be worried or is that how baby boys do?
