I am still recuperating from CS pain, I will be back. wishing everyone a safe delivery

When I had my first baby, one of my cousins was legit upset that I didn't disclose my edd. Like seriously? I changed it for her and asked if she was my doctor abi she planned to come and do omugwo. When I invited her for my baby's dedication 3months later, I still referred her back to her edd nonsense and asked now after all the ranting, have you picked up your phone to call or text to check on us? I told her I was only inviting her cause I just have to since I'm inviting everyone else. That was the only time she ever visited me and we live like 20minutes away.

Drink lots of fluids. Don't massage the legs, avoid standing for too long, and make sure your shoes are super comfortable.

The more fluid you drink, the more you pass out fluids too which helps reduce the swellings.

Been reading all this baby list and I was so tired to type, lol if you go to baby stores on IG una go confuse ooo and not even know what to buy, imagine baby cot of 80k and baby didn’t sleep in there, no be juju be that

Anyways even as a first child I no do pass myself, thank God for the days of faith bump and prayer days where we pray with baby stuff, everytime I make sure I buy new thing and not use what I bought the last time, I bought my baby rocker and baby sitter before I even smell pregnancy, flask, Some cloths, socks and all that

Then when I started antenatal one woman use to bring stuffs with her car, I started buying small, naming cloth, naming shawl, I bought 5-in-1 flannel for carrying baby, only 1 shawl for naming

My baby bath na 4500 at gbagi market ibadan and if I calculate what I spent, na change because I didn’t buy much cloth, they outgrow it fast

See ehn when you enter market they will push you sotey, car seat 35k on top wetin, I no get car will I leave it in my husband’s car that I only get to use on Sunday’s and market or we go out together, baby carrier I be full time housewife where I Dey carry baby too, even baby bag I no buy
Wardrobe the woman talk tire I told her I don’t need it, 40k wardrobe when all the 3 rooms in my house has wardrobe, the one in my room self has space. I advise you plan what you need and bot want according to money wey Dey ground. I only bought 1 50pcs pampers, after naming we go know whatsup.

Lastly my bed was from a declutter on IG, the lady bought it and didn’t use, infact na with carton I carry am. Priced in market and they said 30k
Toor koburu na 15k I buy am if not that I saw that one I for no buy bed

I signed out of Antenatal last Thursday, my hospital has a separate building for Antenatal so we don’t use the main clinic, when the nurse saw my file she said Mrs O. Is leaving us ooo we will miss you, chai my head con Dey swell like garri Ijebu but then Every beginning must have ending.

BA #team March....baby arrived yesterday. Birth weight 3.2 kg .. I opted for Cs at almost close to being fully dilated.... I dunno what it was but I kept shouting C's...mum and mum in law are still mad at me for it . In fact I started feeling bad about it especially with the harder recovery process . Full bs to come later. Baby swallowed meconium and didn't cry after he came out till doctor removed it Asides the guilt im feeling for opting for Cs when there was no need for it, we r fine

Don’t feel bad, look at your blessing and know it’s worth it. This is why I am not gonna tell either my mum or Mum in law about my elective CS, anyone that wants to vex should come and be vexing when i have my baby in my arms and they got to know later, I will just bone their side Na me carry my pregnancy abeg

I woke up on the 14th of February with terrible stomach pains. I was rushed to d hospital and did scan . Was told d hernia in 3 places had become strangulated. That I and baby are in distress I was 34 weeks 2 days then. I planned for a C-section at 37weeks. I couldn't bear it cos d pain was not stopping. I was wheeled into the theatre ND brought out 3hrs later. A lot of repairs were made...the diasis recti, appendicitis plus patching of d ruptured uterus. I thank God for life. Baby came out 2.1kg not breathing well. We were referred to a general hospital. That's another story.. 4 cylinders of oxygen, treatment for high bilirubin. It was traumatic but I thank God I and baby are home and doing fine. It was just God all the way.. Team March..I don port oh..Edd was 26th March.. Birthday...14th February. Gender...XY

Oh…I went for antenatal today and doctor has already told me I will only be induced at 41 weeks if no labour. He even said its 42 weeks that’s the limit

So the did the 9VE and discovered i was almost there. Before I knew what was happening, the strong poo urge don start to the hit me back to back,I hear am oh and I cry oh who pretense hep. Matron say oya make I do the poo wey the disturb me,na him I start to push oh,before I could say pim,baby have comot.
Got the shocker of my life,na baby girl oh. My joy knew no bounds. I was even arguing tell them I was told is a boy.
Time to deliver placenta,as soon as the placenta came out,next na blood like say na tap them open. She was wondering what was causing the bleed but couldn't place her hand on it. She called the doctor to come check,na there another wahala start. Na faint remain for me,the pain was something else. It was discovered I had cervical laceration. They were busy poking hands and instruments just to locate the source of the bleed but I was not cooperating cause the pain was out of this world. The located the source and clamped and told me it was theatre straight for repair.
Gave birth around 6pm and headed for the theatre pass 12am this morning. I sha don't know what happened oh but I woke up speaking nonsense . I was high on anesthesia.
All I can say is thank God,He who began the good work has finished it,all glory to his name.
NB: met one devil in white who had no manner but I sha give am my piece of mind. While the doctors were poking and I was screaming and crying, instead of the idiot doctor to calm me down,all he could say was 'Madam cooperate now,are you the first woman to give birth?' Those hurtful words made me cry. I sha approached him and give him a piece of my mind and he still had the mouth to talk rubbish, he said if am looking for an apology, am not getting it. Told him to shove it up his a***** .
I sha thank God for every.
Born 25 feb by 6: 15pm,and God answered my prayer and gave me my heart desire.
