Education / Re: Sex Scandal: UNN Suspends Mfonobong Udoudom Indefinitely, Launches Probe by FunnyDude(m): 6:10am On Apr 25 |
Creamypie: The issue is most academic people like this don't usually like or get use to a personal hustle, they're use to earning salary. There's high chance of this man going depressed. As a graduate of Unn, I feel for him because I can imagine the hardwork for him to attain this lofty height in academic especially UNN. His village people finally got him. 3 Likes |

Business / Re: I made NGN 675,000 in March on Upwork as freelancer by FunnyDude(m): 10:05am On Feb 15 |
Let me shock you. The clients you're reaching out to through cold emails and on social media, they mostly hired their talents through Upwork whenever they need someone. That shows how powerful Upwork is. You can keep reaching out to cold outreach but they may not need your service at all until miracle happens after about 3-5 follow ups. But Upwork is full of warm leads( they wanna hire asap) So that's why I still prefer Upwork, yes Upwork, as my first platform for getting constant dolls. Exchange rate is what again? Say it louder. |

Think about Upwork as a form of investment. For instance: *A client hired you to write 7 Emails for $250.* Let's do rough calculation: To bid apply for this project it requires maximum of 16 connects. Cost per connect is $0.15 cent. $0.15 * 16 = $2.4 So you use $2.4 to land a $250 job. Upwork %charges, 10% of $250 =$25 Total: $250 - $25 -$2.4 = $222.6 You'll be getting $225.6 *profit.* $222.6 x 1500 Naira = 333,900 Naira(profit) Just one job. This is why I said Upwork is a gold mine |

Keep bombing freelance clients in the middle of the night. Keep firing proposals from all angle. Keep sending cold outreach to prospects. You only need a BIG yes (rich client) to turn things around. No gree for anybody How much be exchange rate again? Say it loud. |

There will always be jobs on Upwork, but my question is, will you have the connects to apply for those jobs? Save your connect for good jobs, don't be applying for every job you see. Be strategic. |
