Don't sleep, serious people will keep getting all your clients. 1 student got 6 clients. Choke |
Lol |
I get my clients on 3 major platforms. High paying clients are on social media than Upwork. Upwork is just full of hot leads that are ready to pay asap (with $ connects). But other channels you need to build relationships first (free) I discovered this last year, when a client paid me $4k USD for a one-off project. I wrote copy for his funnel (Ads, Email, and Sales Page) Then we stopped working. Since then, I don't rely or get too comfortable on any client, because it's a contract, anything can happen. At times, some clients will last 6 months, others one-off project and some over a year. But while at it, I make sure I keep looking for more clients. At least ONE hour daily to do that. That way, I'm not short of clients. Please try and implement what I'm showing you on client prospecting. It will change your life. |
Get your hands dirty, get to work. |
Going through my job feed on Upwork, I thank God for joining Upwork when I did. What a better time to earn more Dollars in tinubu economy |
On Saturday, at exact 2:52PM, I got an offer from a UK recruiter on LinkedIn. I was tasked to work for an E-commerce brands in preparation for BFCM (Black-Friday Cyber-Monday) promo coming. Will be signing the NDA soon. I do get such Inmail request at least twice weekly like this... Some messages are true while some are false. But I do get them CONSISTENTLY. Sincerely, one can actually get freelance clients anywhere. Just position yourself well, be consistent with contents and engagements. Then your profile will be rich to attract the algorithm. Offers will come your way. Happy new week. |

Based on my personal experience, the two type of clients you don't joke with: - High tickets clients pay higher for your project. - Low paying clients but with lots of referrals (I like this alot). On the other hand, the two type of clients to run away from: - Those looking for freebies (free trial) - Unsatisfied clients (no matter what you do they won't be satisfied). |
kingthreat:Australia the land of Snakes and Kangaroo. Dey play. The thing is no where is actually safe on earth. |
Remember to always show empathy to your prospects business. And follow up at least 7 times. It works like magic. There was this client I onboarded last week from CA, during our live call, she said one thing that struck my attention. I quote below: "I made this decision to work with you because you showed you really cared about my business, and your followed up as well." |
Consistently landing incredible clients as a freelancer or copywriter isn't about who is highly skilled. It's about who knows how to sell their skills better. You can be highly skilled and still be broke. So, how can you stand out? A simple shift in your outreach approach that I'm going to share in my membership can be the missing piece. I'm going to spill the techniques that have worked for me to consistently win satisfying, well-paid work. I'll show you how you can tailor it to your services and tap into your unique way. Send a message. |
Ayjay44:It's a Mastermind. Like inner cycle where you're given a login. The one I took in 2021, has been revised to the latest version with AI prompt. Well, If you want to get the course, look for RMBC onlline keep your up to $1000 The question is are you ready to cough $1k to Stefan? Lol |
ajog1:First, have you took RMBC? The creator of RMBC is Stefan Georgi - a new school Copywriter. All these new school copywriters got their inspiration from old schools legends like John Carlton, David Ogilvy, Gary Herbert, etc. In fact, Stefan Georgi started Copywriting less than 10 years ago. His wife inspired his journey. He said it himself in one of his interview. BTW, John Carlton Book - Kick Ass of A Marketing Rebel is one of the greatest marketing material on planet earth, ever. 100%. |
Mine was in 2016, during ponzi schemes MMM and Ultimate Cycler. |
Upwork, YouTube, IG, TikTok, FaceBook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Clients are everywhere. Do whatever works fine for you. |
MOD this need front page |
I discovered and closed various clients this year outside Upwork. So I get clients on Upwork AND Outside. wi!n-win. Well, I'll show you how I get clients outside without worrying about high Upwork connects. Clients that are paying from $2-3k per work. I got to know real paying clients don't hire on Upwork mostly. |
kingJoya:I've replied you already. |
Well, let me add. You need high paying skills and target rich paying client to be rich as a freelancer. Like other business you need to work extremely hard to succeed. Who told you freelancing can't make you big money? I know of myself, and host of others I don't want to mention names here on Nairaland that became comfortable and rich from freelancing. Yes, freelancing does the magic because you earn in dollars. Seek more knowledge. |
Could you believe? I charged my client $900 for this short-form video script copywriting. See the link to doc below: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xB6Ei08K5lovu0N6ZaOmhUgjFoM6RNltvdo4rXbT5zY/edit?usp=drivesdk Happy new week |
Mass Wedding in 2023? Wasting State resources Whereby Other Nations Are Going Advanced In Technology, Sciences, etc ? The Question Is, How Will The Future Be For The Unborn Generation, Since Our leaders Are Still Joking Till Now. SMH Nigeria Is A Third World Country For A Reason. |
$5k plus every month |
Phantom042:Feel free to inbox me |
landiqa:Yeah |
Stop complaining, go and look for ways to earn dollars instead |
I have a way of targeting Americans who are in need of direct response copywriting services. $500 here, $600 there, $850 over there and that's how I keep getting them. Nigerian economy is best enjoyed if you earn is foreign currency. |
If you know you can't implement whatever you going to learn from me, please don't contact me. I'm not lazy, so I don't expect you to be. And again, aside from Upwork, there are up to 6 other ways I generate clients for my copywriting business consistently. That means, every week, I onboard new client needing my service. But one thing, I show value and help provide a solution to each new clients I get before getting their money. For instance, at times, I give suggestions on any of their existing projects, and if such client likes it, they pay me to go ahead and implement my idea on their business. That's it. Clients are everywhere on any platform. |
CHIGOZIEID:Yes, see the number on my signature. Just send a WhatsApp |
You can bank $3000 monthly with copy skills. Just avoid shining object syndrome (going from one skill to another). FunnyDude, why did you say so? See, the world is saturated already, forget what you see online. No NEW skills or platform can make you so rich, but YOUR effort will do that for you. Look at it this way (my own way)... Have you applied to at least 50 Jobs daily on one ( LinkedIn, Upwork or anywhere) for 90 days, with your current skills and you haven't gotten an offer? Try it, you'll get an offer - it's a game of numbers. Imagine this... You applied to 1000 openings in 30 days at 0.5-1% conversion rate (worst case scenario). You'll still get at least 5 offers. People are making consistent income with any skills. That's the truth. Get up and package your application. |
fyneboi79:Great! |
Op is not saying the truth. Maybe he edited a zero so as to gain sympathy. No employer can pay such for a graphic artist. |
