firstly, bundesliga have a shallower pool of quality players - to then go and buy the best player of their closest rival is nothing short of a disgrace. united can buy a dozen quality players from the premier league and there would still be plenty of quality players left that would challenge united's title dreams - this is not the case in bundesliga!

arsenal were no longer title contenders when they sold van persie to united. you are mixing apples and oranges, mate. what bayern did is equivalent to barcelona poaching ronaldo from real madrid. as if bayern are not strong enough as it is already - the deal stinks to high heavens and it would further destroy the quality of the german league.
