I've been dreaming of ITA since January of this year and finally it is here!

I can't thank God enough for giving me the grace to study French and pass the TEF exam which elevated my CRS from 415 to 457 cool (was initially thinking cut-off scores will drop to last year's levels undecided...thank God I received sense fast)

To all those still expecting...keep the faith...it will surely come...and then the real work will start

I wonder how PPR mail will feel
Congratulations! That's the way to go.

All these analyses on how CRS cut off would drop to 430s may just be 'keyboard exercises'. With the rate people are catapulting their CRS and the way folks with high scores are jumping into the pool, 443-445 range looks like new minimum going into 2019.

Massive Congratulations to our PPR recipients!!!!

The wait is over guys. Go and excel.

All the recipients seem to be advised to send passports to India. IRCC know they're resident in Nigeria. I suggest you just send passports to India.

Unless VFS has issues with that.

Please anyone in University of Otago studying for PhD. I want to know how long the admission process takes and why mine is taking so long. Thank you.
Ask the department or the graduate admission officer.
I trust they will tell you what is delaying your application and how long it normally takes.

So I called them on Friday and got a date booked for this week and she asked for my email address so she'd send me a mail. Fast forward to today I call for a million times and no one picks. So I send an email asking for confirmation and the earliest date available somehow turns to next Monday.

I sent another mail stating that I already had a confirmed slot and she replies with a new dat for next two weeks!!!!!!! Unto 'if you like don't take it now, here's the new date'. So I sent a mail again and there has been no reply. I don't blame them...
Go there tomorrow and do your medicals. No need giving yourself unnecessary headache.

I read it too... Pls can you give list of universities with cheap tution for M.sc....What's average tution for M.sc in social science courses and thirdly pls highlight the procedure and documents needed for admission & visa processing. thanks
Hmmm . . . Long list you got there.

Education is costly in New Zealand. And there are fewer scholarships in the social sciences, MSc. So, check any school and course of your choice and use the tuition/cost as your average.
Procedures and documents needed for admission are always listed in the school's website, or the program website.
Visa requirements, processes and costs are well detailed in the Immigration New Zealand site.

Uknown. No official news, so reduced to speculations. Could be:

1. procedural: annual target for VOs met or admissions target for the program met.
2. logistics: unavailability of PR visa counterfoils for passports.
3. administrative: relevant officers on annual leave
4. shadow-chasing: people are receiving PPRs, just not choosing to share the news on this platform and we are wasting time speculating.
Thanks Joo.

I think No. 4 is most unlikely.

Good day fellow aspirants!
I've not been keeping up with pages because I went to work in remote location with limited internet access. Scanned through some pages and saw that there was a 445 draw yesterday. Congratulations to the ITA clinchers.

It appears there has been scanty or no PPR recently. Is there any thing holding issuance?
I saw somewhere that there are no visas to issue, or that it's on hold to rain very soon. Any material to these claims?

Good news for international students in New Zealand. Appears NZ wants to loosen up on their strict immigration policies. . . I just got a mail on this.

At what point will one receive acknowledgement mail after application submission.
I cannot remember getting acknowledgement or how long it took. But there is instruction that pops up, follow it, make applicable payments and submit passport accordingly.

Why don't we have much contribution here, is it that no one is granted NZ study permit recently or nobody is processing his NZ study visa
I believe there will be answers to your question, if it's about the topic of the thread.

But you people have started again . . . There are scores of our soldiers that died in this attack. Picking only one person to be writing about and celebrating is not the way.

Still on POF.
Some COs or VOs work like robots shaa.
If I were the applicant, I would quickly liquidate that FD and raise CSE to update on my POF.

Delay may land him/her in AVO, where he'll have all the time for the FD to mature.

Thanks for your response. Does your area of interest in Canada have any part to play in the visa office that your file is sent to for processing? I did not choose Ontario and BC because I was scared of the rush in these areas grin
It's extremely unlikely.
Just calm down as your application is being processed. Official average processing timeline is 6 months.

if I may ask, why are applications sent to Accra? I heard only applications that require an interview. am I correct pls ?
Most (not all) PR application files that go to Accra require scrutiny or further review on employment or marriage/family related claims.

Yeah. Some upload only the certificate, others upload everything. Some others scanned it as it is stapled together. IRCC didn't reject them on these grounds.

Hello people please I sent a mail to Ralph and he confirmed my application was received at central intake office in Sydney on the 17th of Sept , I made a call to cic agent and was told my application is in Accra.
I don't understand. Are you asking a question or something?

Meanwhile, if I am Ralph, anyone that sends me a mail before 5 months post-AOR, I will request the person's file be moved to Accra. Maybe that's what happened in your case.

Best wishes . . . It'll end in praise.

Good evening e-Fam, is overlapping of dates allowed when filling the application forms?
E.g Jan 2014-April 2014 (Employment)
March 2014- Feb 2015 (Education Activity).

Also, under which activity type is NYSC categorised? Government, Military or Employment?

Kindly reply
No near military o! People have successfully put NYSC as employment and government.

For the first question, if the dates are overlapping, then overlap them. Shekina. If I could recall, what was instructed is 'no gaps'.

Please, I'm pre-ita but I've taken the passport photos. It meets the specs as to size but some little editing work to adjust the lighting was done. Do I need to retake for eAPR please?
Wetin you carry passport photos dey do pre-ITA? Lol.
Are these photos hardcopy or softcopy? You know for passport photographs, the more recent the better.

What I was actually saying is that eAPR needs softcopy passport photos, which you don't necessarily have to worry so much about. It's during PPR that you need to send photos (hardcopy) that fit the specs perfectly. The photos would be dated and within six months at the time.

Please any idea on how much police clearance certificate costs for a fam of 3 and also the cost of passport photographs @ studio 24?

Thanks
PCC cost depends on which state you are requesting from. Lagos seems cheapest. Cost range from 5k to 15k sef. Hope you're aware it's required for grownups over eighteen years only.

For photographs, I'll advise you do Studio 24 at PPR. There's no much restriction on eAPR softcopy photos. Nonetheless, cost should be about 1,500 for one.

hello my people, I recently invested in tbills but the confirmation letter I got in my mail was quite different from the ones I got from my former investments. this last one has no GTB logo neither does it have any authorizing signature. The other ones has logo and two signatures. Who has experienced this abeg, because I'm thinking of going to tear for them tomorrow. I'm of the opinion IRCC will not accept it. It was not even an attached, I think it was typed.
Mine was just a semi-formal email from my account officer without even my name. The email address it was sent is not the one IRCC knows.

Anyway, I just submitted it like that with my account statement showing the debit. That was the additional stress for me because I wouldn't have attached that SOA.
I believe IRCC should ask GTB if they doubt it.

predicting CRS score of 438-439 today so that our comrades within that score range who have been in pool since about First quarter of this year can also smile wink
I doubt if this is possible this year. It appears CIC is deliberately keeping CRS at 440 and above.

For today, hopefully there will be a draw. Most likely at 442 or more.
