I'm in a serious fix and I need some advise.

1. I'm about to enter the pool.
2. Just got a phd scholarship offer (for 3.5years) that requires I return to my country at the end of the programme, and stay for 2 years without
getting a work permit abroad or applying for a permanent residency.

Beloved brethren, what does a brother do at this time of need... Do I;

i. Reject the offer and wait for PPR. (At least I can derive some consolation from my present job (although I'm not really happy with what's
going on there at the moment)
ii. ...
iii ...

I need some ideas please.

Seems IRCC has forgotten me. 10 months post AOR. My 3rd set of GCMS notes arrived. Eligibility and Security not yet started.

Notes almost exactly same as 1st note ordered in April. Only difference was movement from London to Kyiv.

Your story makes me feel that VOs know some people on this forum, and in fact make specific notes on their files.

So here’s my timeline:

IELTS: L S R W – 8.5, 8, 9, 7 - March 25, 2017. I did this test when I learnt of EE via the earlier versions of this thread.
ECA: February 16, 2018 IQAS (evaluated only LL.B). This was actually paid for in May 2017, but I was no longer eager about immigrating. Eventually sent docs to IQAS in January 2018 when I asked myself whether na so we go dey dey?!.
ITA: April 11 – chose the unaccompanying spouse option to boost CRS scores as wifey was not in a position to evaluate her degrees and write IELTS at the time. Will be going the spouse sponsorship route in the days ahead so watch out for more info on that.
AOR: July 9
IP1/MEP: July 26 – Na there I dey o….. until I open my mail this morning and saw READY FOR VISA…
PPR: Nov 5

Visa office – Unknown
Work History – No employer reference letter. Instead, I used reference letter from ex-colleague stating duties (not notarized) with company ID attached, appointment letter, promotion letter, salary review letters, resignation letter, payslips for last six months
POF: Stanbic IBTC Mutual Funds Letter only! No bank reference or statement included. A few days ago (Oct 30), I liquidated the investment and moved the funds to a Bank as FD. On Nov 2, I raised CSE and submitted FD Certificate and LOE explaining the liquidation (no bank statement or reference included)

God did the rest.

Good evening fam. . . Pls is it likely that I will be asked of work reference for an employment I put under personal history?

I have a reference letter for the 5-year work experience that I'm claiming points for, but I put NYSC (federal ministry) as an employment in my personal history. I read somewhere that I could get ADR for that. Anybody heard of similar situation before pls?

Just got a mail update and suspected there could have been a draw. Only to see a surprise ITA chilling, was waiting for Wednesday.

Hmmm . . . Finally going to apply as unaccompanied, as CRS refused to come down where the family has been sitting at 434 (courtesy of no spouse IELTS) and next birthday is next week.

Anyone here applied as 'spouse unaccompanying' before?

They should just go get married and stop wasting our time and space.

Pls pay ONLY 10k for transcript verification. The transcript has degree on it, so no need paying 10k on certificate.

And, you DO NOT need to bribe anybody for the process. It can be done entirely online.

Even in their press statement to announce primaries, they are still mentioning Buhari. Na wa o! Na so them fear the man reach.

To the matter, it's an interesting timetable. So when people like David Mark, Saraki or Tambuwal lose the primaries, they will have to go back and chase away the person who won Senate or governorship primaries as the case may be. Interesting times ahead.

Please is it possible to get your study permit for Canada accepted without going for medicals. I just got a mail telling me that my passport as been processed whiteout. No medical advice ... I need help guys please hell me before I die of thinking.

It's only by going that you will find out.
I'm not saying your application was approved but it's possible. There's a recent soft-pedalling on medicals by Canadian immigration.

I've been told to pick up the letter, but yet to collect since I'm not in town. Making arrangements to see possibility of accepting/rejecting the offer in absentia.

Give them 1 to 2 weeks after the second passport submission. However, I wouldn't know if every candidate has same timeline.

Probably they are "akatakpa Obollo". It's a seasonal masquerade that comes out every year (I think around July August). Coming to the high way to flog travellers is very silly and barbaric. Some jobless youth trying to intimidate people under different guise. You people should have joined hands to beat them mercilessly.

The rationale behind the tradition had long eroded. I was of the view these things have long been abolished. That's the governor's local government by the way.

I believe that successful candidates would be collecting letters throughout this week and probably beyond.

I also think all this random collection of APLs doesn't necessarily mean the recruitment lacked merit.

Finally, I wonder why some of us would be asked of posting preferences whereas those that have collected letters don't have any clues on their posting. Hopefully there's no form of confusion about the whole stuff.
