Nigerian clergyman, Victor Ativie, has recounted how late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu's husband, Peter Nwachukwu, allegedly hid the money paid to her after she came to minister in his church, Newspremises reports.
Speaking in his church over the weekend, Pastor Ativie said
''The man has killed her. Man without vision. Man that is jobless. Man that is lazy. She came to Benin to minister to us. As she came, she wanted to even stay till the next day but the pressure was too much. The man, the way he discusses money with you..He is too carnal.
I know that if a preacher comes, you should bless the person but you see, I don't like when a thing is too physical.
The way the man was discussing money will even make you hate the woman's gift but the woman carries something that is too deep that you cannot ignore.
After they had negotiated and we have paid fully, the woman came, ministered and left. The evening after she left, she called me and said 'Sir, did you send any love offering?'
We sent it one month before she came but he didn't tell the woman. Evil man. He didn't tell the woman that we have sent anything. We sent it one month before she came.''he said
StoriesUpdate: BARR. MRS IFEYINWA MORAH: Elegant stallion, ready to serve
At a time when leadership and governance in Nigeria has yearned for credible candidates, many perhaps, still masquerade with cosmetics credibility. This however, has prompted an intense search by the electorates to do away with a crop of recycled brigades and to redirect their lots on credible representatives.
One stand-out under this premise is Barr. Mrs Ifeyinwa Morah who possesses significant experiences both in law and human management.
Morah is a bilingual graduate of University of Lagos, Akoka-Lagos State, where she earned a Bachelor of Law Degree before being called to the Nigerian Bar. While studying at the University of Lagos, Barr. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Morah also studied French at Alliance Franҫaise, Yaba, Lagos.
She has an outstanding experience in Legal Private Investigation and also vast in Pro Bono Legal representation for the less privileged.
Morah is abundantly vast in conducting Surveillance, Fingerprint Verification and Handwriting Analysis for criminal matters. Her occupation exposed her to Oil & Gas Majors, Forex Trading and Politics.
With a career track in legal practice that started from Ajumogobia & Okeke, she moved on to the legal department of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited. It was at Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) that her exposure to Oil & Gas, Petroleum Bill, Tax, Gas Marketing, Deep Water Operations, PSC Decree Review, Drilling, Procurement, Litigation, Arbitration, Anti-Trust, Alien Tort Claims projected her for her private thriving in Oil & Gas and Forex Ventures. She was able to deploy this knowledge in setting up the thriving Forex Arm Department at SIFAX Group where Dr. Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
However, with her vast knowledge in efficient service delivery and stand out quality, many people in her home town decides to approach and encourage her to also redirect such services to humanity, this time, to leadership at a national level. She was co-opted by several invitations to join politics in her home state Anambra. But this is coming after several hurdles in her initial aspiration to run for the seat of the Federal Constituency where she hails from in OYI/AYAMELUM FEDERAL CONSTITUENCIES. And notable reasons for the initial hurdle, being that she is female and her opponents were all male who taunted her that it wasn’t a beauty contest but a very rough, militant and dangerous terrain. Undaunted, she worked vigorously with her party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to produce two female Senators and House of Representative Members at the same general election in 2019.
Among one of the females that is currently serving in her zone at the National Assembly is Princess Stella Oduah representing Anambra North Region where Barr. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Morah hails from.
Morah is an active member of PDP and has currently joined the race to declare her interest to run again for the House of Representatives –Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections. This has been occasioned by the fact that the current sitting Federal Representative that emerged from her constituency has dumped the party and decamped to another. With the void created, the mantle falls on her, repositioning her to a candidate to beat in the next general election. She is Née Umenyiora and hails from Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government, Anambra State.
Barr. Mrs. Ifeyinwa Morah is a member of several professional bodies that include Member of The Institute of Directors (IOD), The International Bar Association (IBA), The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), The Nigerian Police Force (NPF), International Association of Chiefs of Police (USA) IACP, Alliance Franҫaise Lagos-Nigeria (AFL) among others. She also possess several certificates obtained in France for bilingual studies in French and English.
“A Woman Laid Curse On Me” – Man Pleads After Allegedly Defiling Church Member’s Two Daughters
A suspected paedophile, Louis Ikechukwu, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court for allegedly defiling two underage daughters of his friend.
According to a report, a police officer, Sgt. Aikore Odion told the court that the ages of the survivors whom Ikechukwu allegedly defiled were 10 and 12 years respectively.
Odion, while being led in evidence by the state counsel, Ms A.R. Abolade, said the father of the survivors, reported the case of defilement on Dec. 22, 2018 at Owutu Police Station in Ikorodu.
The witness said that the nominal complainant told her that the defendant was his very close friend and attended the same church (Lords Chosen Church).
She said the complainant told her that the defendant came to his house in his absence and defiled two of his daughters, aged 10 and 12 years.
“After the case was reported, I gave them papers to write down their statements in English language. I also gave them medical paper to go to general hospital for proper examination.
“The defendant was arrested on the 8th of February, 2019 with the help of the community and his landlord. He did not deny the allegation as he said it was the devil that came over him.
“He said a woman laid a curse on him that whenever the urge comes, he cannot control himself.
“He confessed to have slept with the survivors’ one after the other and added that he ran away to his village after the case was reported to their pastor. “The defendant went to the survivors’ father’s house to seek forgiveness after he heard that the police was looking for him,” she said.
The witness said according to the defendant, the father was ready to forgive him but the mother of the survivors objected.
Justice Abiola Soladoye adjourned the case until 21st June, 2022 for continuation of trial.

A 60-year-old man identified as Victor Obilor allegedly has been arrested by the police for raping a 12-year-old physically challenged girl in Rivers state.
The father of the victim, Eze Eleonu, said he caught Obilor pants down with his physically challenged daughter who, according to him, also has speech as well as hearing impairment.
Eleonu told newsmen that the suspect, Obilor, had, on Saturday, March 5, 2022, raped his daughter while he was out of his house in Ubima community, in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state.
He narrated that on entering his room, he saw Obilor stark naked sitting very close to his daughter, who was also naked, and he immediately grabbed him before raising the alarm.
According to him, the alarm he raised attracted a neighbour to his compound who helped in securing the said Obilor before the arrival of members of a local vigilante group, who took him to their office and in turn handed him over to the Ubima Police Division.
“I was coming back from Omagwa and alighted from a motorcycle in the front of my compound and I noticed that the door to my house was open, which raised my suspicions.
“As I approached the room, I saw somebody that got up from a chair stark naked. I was able to recognise him immediately.
“His name is Victor Obilor. I held him and I saw my daughter on the couch with her dress folded slightly above her breasts. So I had to start shouting, calling on people to come to see what Victor did to my daughter.
“We held him before OSPAC vigilante came and carried him to their office. The man was transferred to the Ubima police division.
“On Monday, the DCO came and gave me a doctor’s report to go to any government hospital and run a check, and when we went to a hospital, the doctor said there was a penetration.
“I need justice. They should charge the matter to court,” Eleonu stated.
The state police acting spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, said she was yet to hear the report.
Iringe-Koko promised to find out from the Ubima division and get back to our correspondent, but she had yet to do so at the time of filing this report.
Tabithatim: Come and see o! A particular loan app in this Nigeria has been threatening me over a loan that isn’t due, out of 6 instalments I’ve paid 3 and now just some hours after the 3rd instalment is to be paid they’ve started sending me threatening messages and even had the guts to contact people on my contact list that I’m late on my payment. This is so wrong!!
So in July I took out a loan of 150k to pay back in 6 months, they gave me their rules and how I’ll pay it (make I no even talk the big interest rate way dem give me, that one one na topic for anoda day). After confirming my loan on the 2nd of July, it took 4 days for the money to reflect in my account after many stories and mails to them. Can you imagine that these guys have been debiting me on the 2nd of every month claiming that’s when my loan was approved and it’s from my end there was a delay. That’s so unprofessional and mean! I’ve tried to speak with someone on their end but nothing…they’re just speaking English. I don’t know how to report them. Now they’re threatening me even though they’re the ones at wrong.
Most of these loan companies don't care about you or your reputation o. They will promise you heaven & earth everything join with sweet words, they will trick you with social media ads only to lure you in and torture you.
I just tire. I’m soooo pained that I even had to take a loan in the first place and this is what they’re putting a customer through. Na only to dey dirty people name them sabi all these loan apps are one kind and maybe even fraudulent cause not only is their interest rates too high, they shouldn’t be allowed to threaten people at all even if they’ve missed a payment date; it’s just wrong. Is this how all loan apps are? What can I do? I heard FairMoney and some other loan apps are better?
How did they get the phone numbers on your contact?

Supreme145: I was on my own chilling jejely when my next door neighbor knocked on my door, he said I wanted movies so I let him into my room reluctantly. I hardly relate with my co tenant's beyond hi hi greeting so I was kinda uncomfortable letting him into my room.
He sat down and had this bewildered look on his face, the next thing I heard was, Bros omo you get mind dey stay inside this kind empty room o, so na ontop this kind flat bed you dey run all these your babes wey dey come see you ehhn....nawao you be badt guy oo. So na ontop this bed that one wey get big nyash dey even lie down with all slay queen shakara. He kept blabbing while I kept silent, I asked him so even if I want to buy a better it should be because of ladies baa, and he said ehhhn now, how you go dey run matters on top this mat. This someone that I gave transport fare to go and meet someone he said was owning him.
He kept quizzing me on how I'm able to attract ladies despite the vaguely furnished room, I went on to tell him that girls are not my problem now. Moreover I'm not dating most of them, I run projects for people so some of them are people I'm working for.
Even though I've developed a tough skin to this kind of negative comments, I was upset though I masked my embarrassment. But why do some guys feel everything must be to impress ladies, I for one don't have time for them and I'm fully focused of sharpening my programming skills in order to get a job before the year runs out so I can renew my rent by January. For someone that was once homeless and slept in lecture halls, this my current place is like a duplex to me, and how I got this place is still a miracle to me.
Hence my question is the room really that bad? I've visited some friends and my room is nothing to write home about. Is it so bad that the guy feels I am not worthy to have a girlfriend just because of it?
Ladies can you date or marry a guy living in this kind of apartment?
dickt: I can see how shallow your reasoning is, just like that of a low class prostitute. You need a better orientation. By the way, how old are you? 13?
Simran94: So why are you men always complaining when most Ladies are after men that are wealthy? Men can want women for sex but women can't want men for money, you instantly call them gold diggers.
