Explorers: DNA evidence helped Washington State police officers to finally crack the 62-year-old cold case involving the brutal murder of a 9-year-old girl who was selling Camp Fire Girl mints.
Candy Rogers went missing in Spokane on March 6, 1959, and was found raped and strangled to death with her own clothing two weeks later.
Through the help of modern DNA evidence, police announced on Friday that Rogers's murderer was John Reigh Hoff, a US Army deserter who committed suicide in 1970.

Unibener: No na, this is Nigeria Baba u funny ooo. Based on your thinking, e sure me die say u still be teen. Try dey read news especially International news for ur brain's sake 70 million in a term, do they sell their students body parts or what ?
haven't you seen or heard a school that fees per term is 1.5m? What if such school has over 70 students?
Bola146: But this is a myopic comment because one would expect a brilliant guy like you to do a research before asking that ridiculous question which I bolded.
Google what Pastor Adeboye has done to hospitals, prisions, etc, google what Pastor Chris had done to some communities, schools, hospitals, etc and lots of them. Please do your findings too. Thanks
I like the come back. It's time to show these men that their time has expired.
You asked asked how much has Sir Reno Omokri done and how many people has he helped.... And I gave you a good answer, and even ask you to do some findings. Still wondering how Pastor Chris and Daddy Adeboye got into the discussion.
It's all good though.
[/s]Just hold your peace. Reno or whatever they call him is a rusty pipe. Imagine the nonsense advice he gave yesterday.
TMTR: Everytime I read your post on nairaland I feel nothing but pity for you, I can imagine the kind of life you live , when all you do all day is to look for posts that paints men black to create but when it's the other way round, you will be nowhere to be found.. Look MOST men are bad and FEW women but that doesn't mean that you will judge everyone by the action of one, that's very myopic cause everyone is different.
Continue you hear, one day you will wake up when you are old and gray and realize how you have wasted all your life hating men
I don't hate men please. I only hate the evil they do. Why plan wedding with someone when you are married with kids? The girl should sue him for breach of trust and time wasted.
MNDY: The earlier you realize that your gender will be blamed in issues of cheating, unwanted pregnancy, paternity fraud and all other associated issues, the better for you. Why? Because your gender holds the determining power of consent. A man's advances becomes useless if the woman rejects. She decides what happens. Defending your gender and refusing to condemn will only continue to promote these bad things.
Are men not raping women who reject their advances?
Please lawyers in the forum. Help me reach out to this lady on Facebook. Her phone number is on her Facebook. Let's try and make sure this man is locked up. Why waste someone's time?
Let's use him and teach other men a lesson. Thank you.
And may God Almighty punish any man who does not have intention of marry a lady but uses marriage promises to sleep with her. May he die miserably.

Femi8586: In a post share on his Facebook, Omokri said it total absurd for man to give House, iphone 13 and range Rover to woman that is not his wife as romantic gift.
He said
Dear men,
If you want to give her a romantic gift, give her
Flowers Chocolates A love poem A candle lit dinner (not too often)
But except she is your wife, giving her a Range Rover, a house, an iPhone 13, and wads of dollars, is not romantic. It is idiotic! If she says there is love in giving, ask her why she is not giving any materiel things to you? Does that mean she hates you? Think with your head. Not with your productive organs. There are many fish in the sea. If one is too greedy, move on to another!
EkehPraise: The rate at which married women are becoming so unfaithful is soo unfair and scary. I work in a 5 star hotel and it's so frightening that 4 out of every 10 guest that lodges in our hotel is a married young woman accompanied by either another man who is old enough to be her grandfather or a small boy old enough to be her kid brother or son
Magun is a charm that originates from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria. It literally means "do not climb." Magun has been used for centuries to catch a wife who has an extra-marital affair or to put a promiscuous woman in check. ...the woman and her lover will stick like glue during the process of sex if she has crossed a Broom or touched a substance laced with Magun charms until her husband comes or they are caught.
At least this should bring back some sanity and faithfulness and keep those who are not ready to settle down away from taking vows they will not keep...
Nairaland mods why are you guys pushing stupid threads to front page? Imagine someone saying married women are too unfaithful. Are they cheating on their husbands with cows? If we must be truthful here, the number of married men cheating outweighs the married women.
Ifeoma Bibiana Okoli, despite being blind has bagged her doctorate degree on Wednesday, November 17, from the University of Ibadan (UI), becoming the 1st visually impaired person to bag that degree from the institution.
Taking to Facebook, her sister, Nnena Okoli, shared photos of the graduand as she gave all the glory to God for Ifeoma’s achievements. In the photos she shared, she could be seen in her graduation gown.
The doctorate degree holder battled failing eyesight for long as she had a disease called retinitis pigmentosa and lost her sight in secondary school during her final examinations. The woman was nurtured at the St Joseph Rehabilitation Centre for the Blind, Rivers state.
With the required skill to succeed, Ifeoma resolved that she was going to become the best she could be academically and she succeeded.
SundayNightGist: Honestly, I used to believe some things belonged to the red light district. Or is it just me? Seeing that I was raised a church boy with little to no experience chiking babes, I couldn’t imagine myself ever dating a girl that now makes me think twice. Like, am I now mad or what? How did I get here?
Since I met this my new girl, it’s just been as if the veil of "ignorance" is beginning to fall off my face; abi guy man don dey spoil go be that ni?
Or how else can I explain to this honorable forum that my current girlfriend, though a manager at her company, likes to wear waist-beads? I mean she even wears it to work!
Although I somehow like the sight of it on her waist, I just can’t get the idea of thinking she might be a corporate olosho out of my head. This thing is sowing seeds of mistrust in me and I really don’t know what to do again. And it’s not like I haven’t told her. Everytime I do she will just look at me with a side-eye, rub my head, and laugh briefly. Shey I never carry load wey no be my own like this? Abi na my mind? Make e no be say na person glory dey on the line so o. The thing dey fear me walahi.
Nairalanders please advise a brother urgently.
[/s]Waist bead is part of African culture. It's an adornment.
I hope you also get worried when your girlfriend wears necklace and bangles.
