AZUH: @futurewise11 that can never be true . Daily deliver for vanagon buses is 7k . 8trip is 5k from 5am to 3pm another driver will come on board for three trip which is 2k making it 7k but in less than 3 months the gear box will be a history . For me the best thing to do is higher purchase . Buy the bus around 1.2m. Painting 20k , chair 15k , cut the windows 12k collect plate number 44k , and other minor minor expense . Totaling 1.350m . Look for a good driver and sign agreement for 2.2. Mind you the driver will bring initial deposit of 100k . You can never loose your money if you follow these steps . Depends on the route you ply. I repeat, 5am to 4:30pm is 7k and 5pm to 10pm is 3k. The bus will serve atleast 4-5 month before u start visiting mechs. Secondly, which engine are u talking about? Which gear? If u buy a direct tokunbo injector engine manual engine, and ply iyana ipaja to sango axis....deliver is 10k. Instalment is 2.2million with 2 strong guarrantor and 200k deposit. I have done the business and am still into it. I buy the bus here in my city( stuttgart, Germany) ans ship it down. Not those berger bus that has been workef on. Transport business in lagos is lucrative. |

Show us the picture of your bus and not google pics. Secondly 100k monthly is too small except the bus is a diesel engine. Pharagon bus with injector engine ks around 1,5m with good engine and gear. Daily deliver in lagos is 10k. So how will u give the owner 100k monthly?.. The tokunbo hardly have issues for the first four month. Be honest with yourself, you dont know much about this business. chukwuwike2ny: Hello,
Do you have a Volkwagen Vanagon bus? Are you looking for an Honest person to manage your bus? Or are you intrested in getting into passsenger Transport Business?
Owning a 14 sitter Volkwagen Vanagon can be a money spinner if managed by Experienced. And Honest Person.
I have 1 that is mine and 2 others that I manage for people, and business is doing very good.
I thought I can earn more if I increase the number of buses I'm managing. So this is an opportunity for anyone who own or want to own a 14 sitter Volkwagen Vanagon.
Ajah-lekki is where my buses are plying and that's where all others will be plying too.
And like already stated, maintenance is on us and we pay N100K per Month.
Alternatively, you can get 5% ROI with 10% Principal Repayment per Month.

luka1981: Bro, i am with you. But The point is, have you been to other Nigerian embassies in other European countries? I have been to Nigerian embassy in rome in 2010/2011. It is exactly like a market, so by Nigerian Standard, Nigerian embassy in Berlin is good. About The rudeness, i clearly observe it from two workers there. The man at The entrance and The man doing The scanning job. Those guys are very rude. But The igbo woman that will First check u document, she is staying very Close to The waiting hall is very polite. In Nigerian embassy Berlin i can see 'a cup half full' That Igbo lady is superb.mature, calm and honest. But those igbo old men but at the entrance and scaning point are something else....one of them was telling a lady"I dont deal with asylum seekers in europe" I was surprised.... I was in rome for a seminar and visited the vatican With our so call embassy in italy, hmmmmmm that one is a story for another day. |

luka1981: Today is special and remarkable to me because it is the First time i am praising any institution that has to do with Nigeria. To make long Story short. I was at Berlin to renew/ apply for passport and i was shocked by the level of professionalism and intergrity the workers displayed while attending to Nigerians. People were called accordingly, their Finger prints and Fotos taken. In less than 20 minutes their new original international passport is ready. No Single bribe, no do xmass or do easter for us. No exchange of envelop. And these People were given all these services without appointment. Kudos to the Nigerian embassador in Berlin and other patriotic Nigerians who made This possible. I am happy and motivated because it is a sign that we can make our country work if we put the right People to work.
The only improvement needed is at the man in The entrance and the igbo man scanning Finger Prints and Fotos. Both men lack Männer of approach to work in public offices. Apart from that, their Services is close to perfection. They are fast with there service but those old men are very rude.I was there for passport renewal and I was amazed with there crass uncivility.Do u see where applicant waiting room was? Underventilated and very small space for a country with millions of people in europe. In all modesty the service is fast......ich liebe Berlin. |

Mille: Please, Any economist in the house.
With the new flexible exchange rate devaluation , Will we be getting the naira to euro exchange at the interbank rate? Form A transaction will be based on CBN rate. It will be higher than the present rate. Lets estimate euro to 330(as against present cbn rate of 230)to 1 naira. Meaning for 8k euro you need to budget 330×8,000 =2,640,000....its unfavourable The only benefit is parallel market rate will crash at the long run.the gap between cbn rate and aboki's will be reduced. Very sad. |

koboko69: Look. I don't engage intellectually deficient clowns online. Every one has a choice of having a slavery mentality or not having one. If your Economics text book thought u to be a slave in your country. Good luck to you. Guess ur Economic textbooks also thought u, staffs should be laid off without due process, it also thought u that it is wrong to have unions as workers of an establishment, it also thought u that after years of studying you should be employed as a contract staff, paid as a contract staff, work as a full staff, make money for them as a full sack, then fire u like a slave. Well done! There's legal procedure in handling dispute in every dispute, which can be harness to seek redress. You said said bank should be patriotic and complain about contract staff issue. Are you forced to sign up for such cadre of employment? Is there any labour law against such?NO. Contract staffing system is not illegal or strange. It's a stepping ladder for those who knows there worth and its a global practice.Presently in Germany alot of companies (Daimler,Bosch etc)are doing something similar. Its a cost saving strategy which is not illegal Companies are not charity organisation who cares about your emotions or financial difficulties. If the term of employment is not economically sensible, its at your prerogatory to resign....nobody force u.Many contract staff in the banking system are better off because they not easily sacked compare to full staff. I repeat visit your economics (monopsony)textbook again. |

koboko69: Party affiliations and senseless hates has eaten the grey matter of so many Nigerians. It is pathetic that i see so called youths, (many unemployed) come online to keep attacking Ngige. Have some people sworn to be slaves all their lives. These useless banks declare mind blowing profits at the end of every year, but at any little opportunity they are looking for excuse to sack Nigerians. Why can't they be patriotic and endure with Nigeria in these hard times rather than mass sack then later they declare mind profits. Many of these banks dont even allow unions, what kind of slavery is that? The annoying thing is they don't even follow laid down procedures for mass retrenchment. They rather employ contract staffs, then sack u at Will. Always looking for cheap labour but are quick to declare huge profits. Imagine waking up in the morning, prepare for work, get to the office, log on to ur username, and u can't log in.... which simply means u have been sacked. You guys can keep being slaves in your country..... Go and peruse your economics textbook and stop exposing your uninformed mind. They in business for profit.Bank should be patriotic and endure my ass.. |

Rostock is high up the ladder in terms of rankings. And Ph.D is possible unlike weingarten. But the students' job stuff and future employment is making me consider. The choice is yours bro. You cant eat your cake and have it. Since Ph.D is your aspiration, you can forget student job during studies. During semester break you can work in other cities. |

mcfwesh: my bros. .help I have got admission into two schools : Honschule Ravensburg Weingarten(M.Eng) and University of Rostock (M.Sc). All for Electrical Engineering. The former is in the South while the latter is in the North.
I need a constructive advice that would help me make a decision. I heard Rostock has a high unemployment rate and need a lot of german to get by.
Thanks You will enjoy weingarten.Student job and hostel is relatively available. But during the higher semesters you need German for your program.Nigerian community to make u feel at home. Rostock is more affordable but in terms of job Weingarten is better off. |
