Yes Dear. You can just get creative. I also made Cabbage soup with Cabbage, Onions and Eggs but forgot to take a pic before loading into the fridge. Am also thinking of what I can do with Cucumber ( Meals and snack) since its in season now I don't like eating Cucumber, I dislike the taste. Am all for cheap low carb meals. I might cook Okra later today otherwise by weekend. Will also be making Vegetable soup by weekend. Avocado pear is also in season.

Yes Dear. But once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy. Just know that Meat, Fish and Eggs are your friend. Ogbono Soup, Okro, Egusi, Vegetable, Edikaikong, Ewedu Soup is allowed you just need to reduce the oil small. They're are various swallow substitutes. There's a Low Carb ice cream you can make for yourself, same goes for cookies, breads etc. There are endless opportunities. Also do intermittent fasting, start eating no earlier than 12noon and stop eating 6-7pm maybe latest 8pm. Sometimes I start eating by 2pm and stop by 9pm cos that's when I would have gotten back from work and had dinner. Hope you saw the Fish Cakes I posted up there? It looks yummy. Am making it today.

Wet the tip of your finger, dip in Baking Soad (Bicarbonate of Soda) and then insert finger into Veejay and remove. Voila! Your CM will begin to change PH and become very alkaline and healthy for Spe.rm. It also increases EWCM. Do this 30mins to 1hour before BD as that is when the highest alkalinity is achieved. Pls note that Baking Soda is different from Baking Powder. Also take it easy while inserting so that you don't touch your Cervix and get a burning sensation. They say Baking Soda sways boy. Yours truly here has been trying to drink Baking Soda water and doing Baking Soda Finger when she remembers. Learnt when I started ttc and was hell bent on Gender Swaying to conceive boy. Abeg ask your Dr. I no fit shout. But if you have honey, then take in warm water with small raw ginger. Alternatively if the cough no too disturb you, allow the cough run its course and it will go on its own.

Recipe for fish cakes. ..

100g of fish..smoked/salmon/tuna/cod/tilapia
Mash this up and all straight into the bowl a sprinkle of black pepper, white pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic /onion..chopped rodo.
You may add some chopped sautéed spinach or greens.
Add 1 or 2 tsp of Boullion powder.
And spices to make your cakes different to your taste.
Add one egg yolk.
Optional: 1 Tbsp of coconut or almond flour
Pat mixture and flatten with your hands and fry in shallow oil. High heat do each sides is crusty.
Make sure it's done all the way through.

CD 10 is OK in so far as you don't ovulate same day. HSG is done in the follicular phase before Ovulation. I took Ibuprofen 30-45mins before mine and felt no pain. But pls check with your Dr or the radiographer. Breathing out through the mouth during the procedure is also said to help.

I noticed it in my early teenhood. The test result on prolactin came out good though and I've had an unwanted pregnancy b4 now even with the liquid from nipples and postinor 2 I still got pregnant. Part of why I'm so worried. All the test result came out well. HSG, Hormone Assay, pelvic scan and follicular tracking. I had infection wch I treated and still trying to cleans my system. MFI - Male Factor Infertility. I understand how you feel. Sometimes even when we know we're OK. we just want to be taking something so that it's not like we're idle doing nothing to help with TTC. But let me tell you, it can be counter productive. For the fluid coming out from your nips, try eating plenty of Cabbage and Vit B6 at least. As for the FSH result, the Vit B6 plus Omega 3 or Omega 3,6,9 will do just ok for it. Stop worrying, there's nothing wrong with you. Don't allow emotional stress to come in and mess your system up. The drugs he's taking is OK but the truth is he needs a professional diagnosis so as to take the right treatment.

Sorry you're going through this. If this is the case, then I don't understand why you'e taking treatments if your issue is MFI. Maybe you can get him to try the Ogbono therapy someone posted. Has he also seen a Urologist to find out what the cause is? That's very necessary. God bless

@ delor, maybe you should just go to about 2 reputable labs, make enquiries on their process, ask about taking Ibuprofen before hand and then make your decision on which you want to use. I didn't have a bad HSG experience because I was advised to take Ibuprofen 45-30mins before the procedure. Some say it's good to take painkiller before hand others say no. That's why I suggested you ask the Lab personnel. Take care.

My Dear, I didn't bother to ask the doctor about trigger shot. As hubby has low sperm count/ varicocele. He just started Fertilaid and addyzoa combo. Just said i shd do follicle tracking after Teaching Hospital gave me FSH of 11 @ the range of 10. Every other thing came out well and doctor didn't say anything like it was bad or good. I had the follicle naturally without any aid. It is possible to have such FSH level and still have dominant follicle on natural cycle?

Yes it's possible. Please look beyond his Sperm issues. People have been known to conceive with Low Sperm count and all. All you need to do is during your Fertile window, make sure you BD everyday. By having sexual intercourse back to back you increase your chances of having higher sperm counts at the fertilization site. This works for low sperm count. Eg 10million deposited 1st day, next day another 10, 3rd day another 10 which means you'll be having about 30million up your Cervix waiting to fertilize an Egg. My Dr is a strong believer in this and I also read it up on some medical sites online. Take care.

Mehn! my problems are so compounded that if not for the grace of God, I might not be living till today. So many evil thoughts on my mind. Sometimes I just get afraid of the troubles my pple will go through if I'm no more and then I move on. I remb how my family was shattered wen we lost my immediate elder sister in a ghastly motor accident who just graduated as the best student but didn't live to see or hold her result. My her soul rest in peace. though few years now, but memory still fresh. She died in this month of May 29.

Today AF came for an unwelcomed visit. Was just somewhere where I went to cover up for a Secretary to get small money (desperately searching for a job) and AF started. I even got slightly stained if not for the shade of clothe bc I didn't notice it. Got home angrily, hubby always insensitive as usual, told me we will be going early to the village to participate in one community prayers. I have told him I don't like being exposed to pple not to talk about villagers wen we are TTC. But he likes joining parents always to the village. If he doesn't go, they will drag him. My whole life is just full of regrets. Pple sheild their wives in cases like this but he brings me out every time. I'm not even from his village. From two different far tribes.

Abeg no change your mind oh! I think @ Sugah recommended Prism Lab in Ikeja as a good and an inexpensive Lab but I don't know if they do HSG. Am sure she'll chip in once she's online.

Don't go taking supplements just for the sake of it. They're used to treat/manage certain conditions. Remember 'Don't fix it if it ain't broken' . You can just take daily Prenatal if you feel like popping a pill to boost your psyche that you're doing something to help the process. Some of us with some issues are even tired of popping them pills and supplements. Just my humble opinion.

@ Tsquaure, my hear has been breaking for you since yesterday. I really can't add more to the words that all Mamas have said cos they've said it all. You're in my prayers. God will surely wipe your tears.

Please how long does it take for Af to show face after the surgery? A friend of mine that had surgery in February is yet to see Af, she's really worried. But me am seriously praying that sperm has magneted eggs along the way . Although I advised her to go back to her doctor.

My AF was timely, no skips. Same for @ Redeemed. She should see her Dr.

A difference of 4 days is not actually bad in so far as you have a good luteal phase and it remains constant. Lots of things can actually make you ovulate late hence making for a longer period. 33days cycle is not bad. I won't advise Vitex because it can actually mess your cycle up completely. Don't fix it if it ain't broken. Just maybe take the Lemon Water or ACV water and perhaps Omega 3,6,9 if you're currently on it.

Castor Oil Pack should help. But don't use during period or after Ovulation. Subserous Fibroids normally wouldn't affect fertility and I believe yours isn't. You can also give Guaifebao and ACV a trial.

Yeah should be a way of life not a diet. I actually adopted Zero Carbs as a way of life since August 2015 but currently struggling to stick to it now for some reason. For me it's either ZC or LCHF. Am leaning more on ZC though because I hate watching my food and counting calories and macros. Thanks for the link.
