Janix2:Happy birthday Sis. And yes you are a fruitful vine and your fruits shall come forth and by it the Almighty God will be glorified as stated in the gospel of John, Amen. Enjoy your day and have a blast. You're blessed! |
Janix2:I used Wondfo brand but I doubt if it's available in Nigeria. There's this popular one in Nigeria from Carrot Top drugs available in most big Pharmacies. Instructions on how to use is usually on the pack. But it's stick like just like the pregnancy test strip and is dipped in Urine. |
Read below the Catholic Church Gospel today that I find interesting and inspiring. I hope it inspires you and you decipher some truths as I did. I pray that we all manifest as the fruitful vines as Jesus wants us to be. For me fruitfulness is not just of the womb or children, it's actually of everything about us and in all that is good. Have a great day Y'all. GOSPEL John 15:1–8 Jesus said to his disciples: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples." |
Ademide02:It would actually be the PCOS causing the hair loss and not Metformin. Hair loss is a symptom of PCOS. Metformin will actually improve pcos symptoms and not worsen it.I think you need to talk to your Dr about your PCOS. Yes Clomid can stimulate your ovaries to stimulate better but the PCOS can still affect your health, well being and even Pregnancy. Taking Metformin while on Clomid makes your Ovulation better. Some Drs also add some other drugs to their Clomid therapy. PCOS women have a higher rate of miscarriage than women without PCOS. Most Drs will have their pregnant PCOS patients take a low dose of Metformin all through their 1st trimester to help prevent miscarriage. For your hair loss, try applying Castor Oil on the hair and scalp. They say Coconut Oil also does wonders. You need to also reduce / eliminate carbs from your diet. This will improve your PCOS and PCOS symptoms plus the hair loss. I've been on Metformin 1000mg for about a month or so. It hasn't helped me lose weight or anything like that, but it did help with my Ovulation. I ovulated early on CD12 but my Luteal phase still remained 13days which is great. Also for the first time in my adult years, I had Ovulation spotting plus my regular Ovulation pain and high temperature. I also used OPK when I had the pains and got a clear positive. Spotting was very early morning around 3am. By evening I did opk again and got a negative. I was happy. So even though my high hopes of weight loss on Metformin didn't happen, am happy I now ovulate great. |
praiseworks:It all seems to be on track. Your Prolactin seems to be on the high side of normal. As a precaution and for good measures to avoid it rising and possibly tipping over, I'll suggest you eat Cabbage regularly. Abeg what's the fees in Sonex like? Registration Fee? Hormonal Test , Scan, etc. I just want to guage affordability for a friend. Also whats your perception of the Dr and the hospital generally? TIA. |
madamfunds:No experience to share Sis. but you can research wobenzyme, vitalenzyme, serrapeptease and Castor Oil Pack massage. They're the things said to help with clearing adhesions and scar tissues. Take care and God bless. |
happymummy:FSH is often used as a gauge of ovarian reserve. In general, under 6 is excellent, 6-9 is good, 9-10 fair, 10-13 diminished reserve, 13+ very hard to stimulate. In PCOS testing, the LH:FSH ratio may be used in the diagnosis. The ratio is usually close to 1:1, but if the LH is higher, it is one possible indication of PCOS. You don't seem to have PCOS but your very high FSH is not good, it's indicative of diminished ovarian reserve. Your Day 21 Progesterone showed that you ovulated very well Drs would usually want to see a value of 10 and above in an unmedicated cycle to say that good Ovulation happened and 15 and above in a medicated cycle. Were you on any Ovulation drugs? Your Prolactin is very high so you need to treat it either using alternative methods ie Ewedu + Vit B6 + Cabbage or Orthodox by taking either Dostinex or Parlodel or Bromegon, Bromocriptone. My suggestion will be to go on Ovacare or Ovaboost to help your eggs and also Omega 3,6,9 all through the cycle to balance out your hormones and to help with your FSH and LH. Vit B6 is also very beneficial both for the high Prolactin and the LH & FSH but above all Pray and seek out a Fertility Specialist if you haven't already. |
My 1st Meal yesterday. Bullet Proof Coffee. I made this with Decaff Coffee, 1 Egg Yolk and a little artificial sweetener. |
@ enatasha : The God who saw you through the 6 will also see you through the 7th one. I like your positive attitude and confessions. Continue confessing positively, believing God, thank him for his mercies and blessings received during before the surgery, during, after and your Bfp through the surgery. God bless you plenty, Amen. @ Omawunmigan, Congratulations on your Bfp. may God grant you a happy, healthy pregnancy and childbirth; and may your baby be a source of joy and blessing to your family forever, amen. @ chigirl45, you're welcome, chukwu gozi kwa GI Nwanne m, Amen. @ All newbies, you're welcome to the family, may your stay be fruitful and short, Amen. @ All Mamas and Papas, Happy Sunday and a new week of success and happiness, Amen. |
@ fruitfulwoman I responded to your original post earlier. Minutes after, my post was deleted and I was banned. I will respond but won't go into details because I don't like them Mods ban hammer. Omega 3,6,9 is available online at drugstorelimited - great brand and cheapest price ever, I bought mine at a higher price at a physical Pharmacy, so that's a very lucky price, also available at Konga and at supermartng. You can Google these to get the links. I guess posting the direct links was what got me banned. Not sure though. As for Vit E, it's very good during the follicular phase but a high dose after Ovulation is not good. I'll refrain from stating dosages because the fear of Ban Hammer on Nairaland is the beginning of wisdom. ![]() |
chigirl45:Stop after Ovulation. The iu you bought is high for after Ovulation but good during the follicular phase. High Vit E after Ovulation can affect implantation. |
fruitfulwoman:The best online bargain I found for Omega 3,6,9 is at Drugstore Limited. www.thedrugstorelimited.com/shopping/Product-Puritans-Pride-Maximum-Strength-Triple-Omega-3-6-9-(120-Softgels)_537.aspx at N1,590. It's Puritans Pride brand of 120 Capsules that lasts for 40days. That's what I have and I bought in a Pharmacy at N2,600. Other online stores carrying different brands including Puritans Pride at a higher price are: Konga : /catalogsearch/result/?q=omega%203%206%209 Supermartng : https://www.supermart.ng/product/ultra-omega-3-6-9-60-capsules As for Vit E, don't exceed 400iu. Vit E in high doses after Ovulation is not good as it can affect implantation. For Vit C, take a small dose like just 2tabs 2-3 times daily and just eat plenty fruits and veggies. it's good to get your needs from your food where possible rather than supplemental Vit C. All the other Vits you want to take are Ok. Hope all this helps Now I know say na you be that face wey disturb me tire for my dream last night, Abeg I fit sleep in peace now . Have a great weekend Sis. |
tollu:Thanks Dear. I think I judged too quickly. I weighed in this morning and have lost 0.9kg over the 2days I have done it. The only problem is I need to make a plan to stop over eating during the eating window. Am supposed to eat just within an hour like the 2pm I chose but I end up eating from 3-8pm and sometimes overeating. I'll adopt eating between an eating window say 2-3pm to maybe 8pm but I need to apply discipline on the quantity of food consumed. Well-done on your 1kg loss. I'll continue with IF and share my progress. |
Vanny2:Vit B6 and small Vit C or eliminate Vit C if you take any Prenatal and fruits. My Dr added M2tone and Dexamethasone to my combo. Am also on Metformin. A mum here confirmed the combo worked for her twice. I haven't used the prescription though. |
ejimikeokwu:Maybe the cost is why they're hiding it then, before unu ata mmonwu (unveil d masquerade) Any inscriptions on the drug? It can help with the identification. |
salisuammy:Thanks girl. Lemons are safe for ttc, they evwn sway Boy conception. Limes are controversial and are the ones to stay away from. Both are acidic but turn alkaline when they get into the body which is great for the body. The issue is with the high content of Vit C in Lime. Excess Vit C is bad for ttc and can cause early miscarriage. Am currently off TTC now though, that's why I take my Limes without shaking. Thanks again for looking out for me. |
More of my Carnivore Meals. I usually cook in bulk, put in the fridge for constant and easy supply.
|
Some of My Carnivore Zero Carb Meals. Fried Egg Yolk and Baked Chicken.

The Eat Stop Eat fasting was a failure. By night I felt starved and didn't feel like I had eating. I was moved to eat and even ate something outside my Carnivore diet. I think generally fasting doesn't really work good for me because when it gets to feeding time, am in overdrive and can't seem to get satiety no matter what I eat. The only form of fasting I can endure is the No food until it's 12noon as prescribed by one fasting author. I'll just stick to that and concentrate on my ZC diet. I'll also make time to read up the Ketogenic diet to see if I can apply the principles to my ZC meals although I hate Calorie tracking and counting macros but we'll see. My non success is about getting to me but am trying hard to be positive an ignore. Success onmy weight loss is one of the things that keep me ttc sane. I know the Egg Fast Diet works afterall it helped me drop off 14kg last year but I don't know why I can't bring myself to do and stick to it for a few days just to go past this stall/plateau I find myself in. I might ginger myself and do it next week or 1st week May. it's well. |
Chimemela:All seems OK except for the Fibroids in the Uterine Wall, Staph in the HVS which has been treated, the cyst could be a functional cyst. For the retroverted uterus, try BD mostly from the rear and lie down flat after bd mostly on your tummy or your sides instead of the popular lying on your back and raising your legs. Also continue with Guaifebao or Clean Point for unblocking your tubes. You can also try going for tubal flushing but do note that one can get pregnant with just one tubes. Several women have. God bless. |
Chimemela:You should drop the Folic Acid, it's said to encourage Fibroid growth. After your last seed of Guaifebao, did you still have stuff coming out from you? If yes, then I think you should still use the Guaifebao or Clean Point again to continue with trying to get your second tube open. You can use together with the Castor Oil massage. My apologies. I unfortunately have no Fibroid Shrinking drugs to recommend but there's an RCCG Midwife who gives herbals that has been mentioned severally, you might want to give her a trial. My general advice on herbals is to take with caution and not for a prolonged period. Some have negative effects on the kidneys. Your husband has forgiven you, God has forgiven you, forgive yourself and move on. Don't allow the devil put fears in your heart, accuse you and yoke you down. What happened is in the past, we're in the present now so do all you can to put it behind you and focus on making the present and future great. |
@ sanrima, Yes am mostly always busy but I still find time to play pop in to support my e-family. I guess skipping her post was an oversight. I must have read it in the day, made a mental note to take time to respond in the evening or early morning but forgot. |
@ praiseworks, it is well. May God give you the wisdom to handle all the issues that might come up from your extended family, Amen. The good thing is you now know them and their character so you can know what and how to carry yourself and how to tackle each one. Stop regretting marrying into the family, it will only make you sad and even depressed. Your husband loves you and the feeling is mutual. That's the major thing that matters. Try to mix up with them when you get to villa, don't always let your dh fight your battles, it can be counter productive and intensify their I'll feelings towards you. They'll just begin to see you as a woman taking away their brother and turning him against them. But in all, forgive them for they no not what they're doing. Lol @ Achana and Saloni. No you're not them but you're a virtuous wise woman and there lies your strength. God Bless. |
ejimikeokwu:It's definitely an Ovulation boosting drug. But the description you gave is not enough to help with its identification. Even though they didn't tell you the name, did you ask for the work and why it was prescribed to you? If the reason for the prescription matches an issue you're trying to solve and you have faith in your Dr, then believe, have faith, take the drugs and pray. Don't reason it too much and doubt. Sometimes some Drs hide drug names because they're genuinely concerned about patients self medicating. |
Sixx:The one glass you took will not affect anything. But you need to be careful with Soy except its planned/calculated Soy Iso intake for ovulation . Soy is also bad for women who have Fibroids. |
tollu:Great coincidence. I just finished reading up on intermittent fasting. Read a book called Eat Stop Eat that advocates 24hr fasts and I want to give it a trial. This means you choose a particular hour for eating eg 2pm, 6pm. The advise is to do only 2days in a week. My plan is to start today at 2pm, no food again until 2pm Friday and then 2pm Saturday after which I can eat as hunger dictates again. I do know there are other types of intermittent fasting like 5:2, 23:1 etc. I read up on the link you posted later. Gotta go get ready for work. Am a Carnivore meaning I eat only from the animal kingdom so my daily food centres around Eggs (I prefer yolks only, Fish, Chicken, Turkey, Beef, Goat Meat, Pork, Snails. I just eat whatever I feel like eating that I have available. I currently have in my fridge Turkey, Chicken, Goat Meat and Beef. I also have eggs too. You can let me know what your daily food is like and I'll try to help you modify to healthy low carb. Also pursue the IF, I think it's a great idea. Will update you on how mine goes. I plan to drink plenty of water, Lipton sweetened very lightly with an artificial sweetener. Water with Lime/Lemon Juice, I don't know if this is recommended / good so I'll only do this if the Lipton and water fails to keep me full and distracted. |
Amen.
|
@ Baaby, Amen to your prayers and thanks so much @ fertilewoman, how you dey? Are you still pursuing IUI things. Just checking up on you. |
Sixx:Vit B6 will not lengthen so much to give you a false hope. Except where your luteal phase is really very short. You can use progesterone creams or Suppositories but they're costlier. The beauty of Vit B6 is that it gives other added benefits apart from progesterone. Healthy and increased Fertile CM and stress relief is part of the benefits. |
kataleya:Yes you can take all three together. I concur with @ Sabrina on the Progesterone insufficiency. Taking Vit B6 will correct it and lengthen your Luteal Phase. |
Towerofgrace:I honestly don't know what could have caused this but am sure it's not Omega 3,6,9 perhaps it's the Fertilaid. I have no experience with Fertilaid. Mamas who have used Fertilaid can share their experiences with you. |
Chimemela:Yes you are. Welcome and may your stay be fruitful and short, Amen. |
