Anewdawn:Congrats to your friend on her triplets,it can only be God. As for torchlighting the medications, here goes: You're right on the fact that some medications seem conflicting but yes, Clomid and other drugs like Tamoxifen or even Ovulation injectibles are used together for women who do not ovulate alone on Clomid. One popular protocol for this is Clomid Day 3-7, Injectibles from Day 10 which is taken until a follicular scan shows mature follicles, then a HCG trigger shot like pregnyl is given to cause Ovulation to happen. Also some people go on to the an additional HCG Injection after Ovulation is confirmed or immediately they get a bfp. This helps to support baby and reduce risk of miscarriage. This is mostly done if a beta HCG test shows low HCG and/or low doubling rate. This protocol has very high risks of multiples hence a great need for monitoring through tracking and even labs sef. As for the way your friend combined hers, she may have gotten some wrong but yes Clomid can be combined with other drugs where the need arises. Evitol is jus Vit E, Parlodel is used for High Prolactin. Please don't follow her protocol hook line and sinker. My advise for anyone who wants to go on a medicated cycle is to first go for an Oral Medication like Clomid, Letrozole or Tamoxifen From CD 3-7. Do follicular tracking starting from CD 10, Take a HCG Trigger Shot once there are matured follicles and then do timed intercourse. Meaning BD for 3 days straight after Trigger Shot, skip a day, BD one day more and then stop or continue BD and tracking until you confirm Ovulation through tracking and then stop BD for the whole tww. Only combine Clomid with another drug only if you've confirmed through follicular tracking that you dont ovulate on clomid only. This is the path am currently on right now. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

suremum:The tests except for Progesterone are best done and interpreted for CD 3. I don't know about the results at CD 21. The interpretation I gave is for CD 3 but should still fairly be ok. |

Men also have feelings themselves and your DH might be down emotionally because of ttc and knowing that his spe.rm issues are part of the problem. Such things kill men emotionally. What I'll advise is that you change tactics. Stop crying or pushing him to do things. In fact even when he does something and expects you to take or cry, do the unexpected and opposite, with time he'll turn around and not feel that you're trying to control him. No man likes being controlled.And no it that you're not alone. We're all here for you. Still continue sneaking in healthy sper.m boosting things into his diet. If he likes Watermelon, buy and encourage him to eat it plenty. Very good for sp.erm and increases Libido in men too. As for prayers, pray on your own, pray for him and some day he'll come around. I was once like him in terms of prayers. The more DH tried forcing me the more I revolted. He just stopped and prayed on his own daily while also praying that God touches my heart once again. After awhile I dont know what happened to me but one morning while he was praying at the Living room, I just got up from bed, went and knelt beside him and joined him in prayers. |

suremum:My apologies, didn't pass on purpose oh. Good say you no vex. As for your result, your FSH shows you have an excellent Ovarian reserve. There's also not an indication of PCOS going by your LH to FSH ratio which is closer to 1:1 . Your Prolactin is high but not very high so Cabbage and Vit B6 should sort you out. Just make Cabbage your best friend on a daily basis and drink lots of water. If you can eat plain steamed ewedu that's also ok. I believe there's no cause for Prolactin drugs for now. As for your Progesterone, the level shows you ovulated in that cycle. Where you on any Ovulation drug? I assume your LH,FSH and Prolactin test was done on CD3? |

KeneD:Pele Dear. His issue might just be hormonal, low testosterone. See if you can at least get him to take all or any of these: 1. Kunu Aya (FIN Drink). It works great to boost sper.m all round and also increases Libido in some people. Hopefully it helps to increase Libido in your husband. Recipe is Blend Dates (Dabino), Tiger Nuts (Aya, Aki Awusa, Ofio) and Coconut with water, sieve out the chaff and take the juice. Best enjoyed Cold. 2. Another good drink is Onion Juice mixed with Honey. 3. Milk - Liquid, Powdered just let it be full fat. 4. If he can stand honey, buy honey and convince him that honey is healthier than Sugar, then let him sweeten all his foods like Pap, Oats, Tea etc with Honey. 5. Fertilsan M Powder mixed in water. Though a Supplement, it might just be easy for him to drink because it will just be like a juice. It's not available in Nigeria though but you can team up with someone to buy an 180days supply that will qualify for free shipping to Nigeria. 6. Also foods that can boost testosterone would be of help. I'll update post with some later. In all of this, just be patient and wise, don't let him know it's for sper.m, sex or ttc. Just make the Kunu Aya (Fin Drink) and pretend it's just a natural sweet drink you chanced upon. It's a sweet drink and I've not seen anyone that didn't like it after tasting it. Also spin a healthy life juicy story on whatever you do to make him take them. Please don't be tempted to do the deed outside, it has never helped anyone or anything rather it can destroy your life. I Think it's time we stop over focussing on this PDP/APC, PMB and the rest issues and start looking where our problem is. I believe our problem is in the institutions of this country. I don't want to mention that of police now its for another day. It was on the 14th day of March that I drove into one of the police station to obtain the new tinted glass permit, in the process, it was discovered that the plate number of my car is being used by another car. My first question is "How is it possible?" Because I obtained this number from FRSC with all documents intact. I never know the car is going to stay for 12 days in the station. A file was quickly open and the car became an exhibit. Thank God the car was registered by a very high ranking officer of the FRSC whom was brought to the station. As the investigation was going on, it was discovered that some people were producing these fake and duplicate number plates and giving out to innocent and unsuspicious Nigerian ripping them off their hard earned money. My question is, should we now go and buy this numbers at a shop in Alaba or at idumota instead of the federal government approved agencies? In the course of my research, I stumbled upon the number plate verification system online. I started verifying cars of friends, church members and even cars that I see on the road. A shocking revelation was made that OUT OF EVERY 10 CARS you see on the road with LAGOS and ABUJA number plates, that at least 4 is FAKE. You can check your own now. (1) Go to www.nvisng.org/numberplateverification.aspx (2) Enter your number in the space provided. Eg "ABC863AP (3) Click on verify button. Then an information will be displayed below the button. Because FRSC did not want the general public to see the full details of the registration, you will only see the name of your car and the date of registration. Here are some samples: 1. This number plate has been produced by FRSC and assigned to Toyota highlander on 20/01/2015. If your car is Toyota highlander, then you are lucky its done. But if your car is for instance Toyota Camry and your verification shows the above message, then you are in as me. Solution is to go and re-register your car afresh. 2. This number plate has been produced by FRSC and assigned to Matrix however the vehicle is yet to be registered..... If your car is Matrix, then just go back to the person that registered your car and tell him/her to complete your registration. 3. This plate number has been produced by FRSC but yet to be assign to any vehicle. It means that they just gave you a number plate that is not even registered in their system. Solution is to go to them to register your car and upload your information. 4. An invalid/wrong number plate. Do I need to explain this, NO. Verify your car first and sort yourself out with the FRSC before you even proceed to police for tinted permit cos if police are the one to find out, then you know what follows. Many innocent Nigerian are suffering now because of impunity in our institutions Note: this verification is only applicable to the number plates with this formats ABC123AB not AB123 ABC. haryourlar:No it is not. Though some Drs would want to do that especially for patients who normally don't ovulate or ovulate poorly on their own. The reason is just to ensure that Ovulation happens because the trigger shot will definitely rupture mature follicles. It also helps to time BD/Kpekus well since Ovulation happens between 24-36 hours after a trigger shot. 1 Like |

olusisi:Shows that Clomid 50mg didn't work for you. Your Dr might want to up it to 100mg or even 150mg or better still prescribe Letrozole which actually works better for most females. You can also try the Bitter Leaf Water and Garlic cloves method for boosting Ovulation. This is the summary. Hope this helps. |

Cynthiabelle:You're right Sis. Garlic works wonders but the smell can be off putting. You get the Garlic breath, Garlic Sweat etc. But one needs to be careful of Garlic though, it thins the blood and not advisable to take if one is going in for a surgery or something similar to avoid over bleeding. |

Dazzle86:Kpekus / BD during tww and early pregnancy disturbs implantation and sometimes causes miscarriage for some people especially if it's rough Kpekus. It's advisable to stop Kpekus/BD at least 2days after Ovulation. But you need to be sure you've ovulated and not just going by the Textbook 14th day. You could have a 28day cycle and ovulate on CD 16 or even CD 12. As for the Kpekus, every other day from after AF will definitely cut the deal and so also does BD 3x in a week. Ovulation date / Cycle date wouldn't matter much then because at every point, you have healthy live sperm in your system waiting for the Egg to drop. Healthy X Sperm lives for as long as 5days, while Healthy Y Sperm lives for about 3days. 3 Likes |

@ stina4u and Peculiar, What have you done for the annovulation? The sure fire way is by Ovulation induction using oral drugs like Clomid or Letrozole or induction using injectables. once there are matured follicles, a HCG trigger shot is administered which helps to ensure that Ovulation then occurs with 24-36 hours after. After the trigger shot, you Kpekus well to catch the egg. Metformin, Inositol for women who have PCOS also works to bring on Ovulation. Weightloss also helps to bring on Ovulation especially for overweight PCOS women. Treating High Prolactin also helps with Ovulation because high Prolactin affects Ovulation Unorthodox means would be The Bitterleaf Juice and Garlic cloves from CD 1 to CD 10 as shared by Beningasweety and confirmed by some Mamas who tried it. Below is the Bitter Leaf Recipe Bitter leaf botanically called vernonia amygdalin should be gotten fresh from d plant. Collect about 25leaves and wash thoroughly. Then measure one cup of water and pour it in a clean bowl den start squeezing d leaves inside d water like u re washing cloth. D leaves will shrink and produce greeny foams. Helens101:Good thing that you're infection free and now get EWCM. This cycle is another opportunity to try again and be hopeful that God will manifest his Blessings in your life. it's not easy I know but don't give up. Remember that averagely it goes a healthy couple about 12months to conceive. Are there any other Fertility challenges you face? if none pls relax and ensure you BD at least 3 times in a week to have all your bases covered. |

But you can try convincing him to go for scrotal scan to check if the Varicocele is healed even if he won't do SA to know if there's any improvement in his swimmers. In my opinion, the best thing for you to do is to induce Ovulation with a medication like Letrozole with a Drs guide, scans to check follicle sizes, HCG trigger shot once follicles are matured and then timed BD. Adding Food Acid to your Metformin should be beneficial. OR You can try alternative therapy for Ovulation induction. Mamas here confirmed that Bitterleaf and Garlic from AF to CD 10 works. Do you have high Prolactin or having fluid on ur nips when pressed? High Prolactin is very common in PCOS patients and this also affects Ovulation. You can start eating plenty Cabbage especially as breakfast, drink lots of water and take Vit B6 as well. it should help. 1 Like |

sugah:Nne m thank you very much. The Nett Pharmacy option is a better arrangement as my Dr has asked me not to buy and keep. Said I should keep feeding him back with the size of my follicles and he'll let me know the right time and quantity. I'll start tracking from CD10. I just want to make all preparations down so that when the time comes, I won't be running up and dan looking for HCG Injection everywhere.
